Chapter 11 - Assault

"He's only gone with one Bodyguard man, I'm sure we can kidnap him tonight."

A burly man with a slightly creepy stature watched Louisa's car since then, he also always communicated with someone across the phone, telling the situation and conditions around him.

"Good, tonight too we must succeed in kidnapping her because tomorrow morning Mr. Rae will return."

"Good, Sir."

While on the other hand, Louisa stroked her chest many times while taking a breath then exhaled her slowly. "Beautiful as a butterfly, but no wings and no brain." For the last time Louisa muttered the sadistic words Ethan had spoken to her.

At the moment Louisa was in the toilet, she was staring at the reflection of herself in the mirror. "I'm so beautiful, she admits it. But why should there still be an tail? No wings and no brain? Louisa stomped her feet in annoyance. "Take a look later, you fucking Bodyguard!" furious Louisa.

He gets out of the toilet, but he doesn't go back to his desk where Ethan is waiting.

Meanwhile, Ethan turned his head several times while waiting for Louisa's arrival, it had been almost fifteen minutes and the little boy did not even show his nose.

Ethan goes to the ladies' room and is shocked to see Louisa there. "Damn it, I should have followed him earlier," Ethan growled.

He soon searches for Louisa all over the restaurant but the boy is completely gone. "Is he coming home?" It's hard to believe Louisa would go home without him, but there's no way she'd be kidnapped in her own cage. This area is still the Rae family's territory.

When Ethan's call is answered, he asks, "Is Miss Rae with you?"

"Hopefully get lost, can't go home, let's know the taste." Louisa grumbled nonstop.

He does intend to go home without Ethan, consider it as punishment for the humiliation that Ethan has done to him.

"No, Ethan, Miss Rae hasn't come out yet."

Louisa smiled ignorantly at Tony's reply, the driver who was so obedient to his instructions.

"You sure? He wasn't at the restaurant, he went to the toilet and then he disappeared." Ethan's voice sounded anxious, and it made Louisa happy. He again signals Tony not to tell Ethan.

"Maybe he's in the kitchen, or maybe upstairs, in Miss Rae's study" Tony says, to convince Ethan.

"You on the street?" At once Louisa and Tony were stunned to hear Ethan's question. "I can hear the noise of vehicles from around you. Are you on the road? Did you kidnap Miss Rae?"

The call is interrupted, and Tony now turns to Louisa who is giggling. "She sounded panicked, wasn't that funny?" kekeh Louisa's.

"But he's accusing me of kidnapping you, Miss Rae, what if he reports to the police?"

"No, I'll take care of it."

Again Louisa took out one piece of gum from her bag. However, when he was about to eat the candy, suddenly there was a car that hit his car from the side.

Louisa screamed in surprise and the car stopped. "Oh no!" louisa exclaimed when she saw her car was now surrounded by several people who pointed guns at her.

"Miss Rae, you need to stay in the car. I'm going to confront them" Tony said as he picked up his gun.

"Don't be stupid, they're a lot!" exclaim Louisa. "The glass of this car is bulletproof so we have to stay inside until help comes."

With Louisa's trembling hands reaching into the phone from her bag, she tries to contact Ethan but the man never answers. The driver tried to call for help.

While outside, some of the men started shooting at the car glass blindly.

"Damn, I shouldn't have left Ethan."

Louisa cussed in tears, unable to contain her fear as the men strapped her car with gunfire.

"We just blow up the car" exclaimed one of the criminals.

"Don't be stupid, Boss asked that the girl be brought alive."

"Miss Rae, relax. Soon help came," said Tony, filling his gun with ammunition.

"Quiet how? The car's glass is cracked!" Louisa screamed in fear. Moreover, this was the first time he had experienced an attack directly like this. "Oh my God, I must be dead tonight." Louisa's entire body was already hot cold, tears were increasingly rushing down her cheeks. Now he can only duck, close his eyes and close his ears until suddenly the sound of gunfire from another direction.

"Oh my God, thank God Ethan came!"
