Chapter 49 - Injured

Madame Agatha cried as she fell because she was no longer able to walk especially with Louisa who had to carry on her back. More and more blood came out from the wounds on his body, as well as from the wounds on Louisa's body.

He had no idea how long he had to walk, let alone no sign of the existence of a person like Ethan had said. The place was narrow and dark, making Madame Agatha even more afraid and feeling that there was no more hope.

He wanted to give up, but when he saw Louisa's pale face, he undoed his intentions.

"Wake up, Lou, Mommy please, dear," whispered Lady Agatha as she tried to resuscitate Louisa. However, his daughter did not respond in the least.

"Lou?" Madame Agatha drowned her face in Louisa's chest, so she cried until she suddenly heard the sound of approaching footsteps.

The middle-aged woman directly pointed her gun when there were some men coming. "Who are you?" ask one of the men from there.

"Do you know Ethan Mayer?" Madam Agatha asked back which made the people look surprised. "He asked me to come in here and asked me to bring his gun!"

Lady Agatha gave me the gun, she's resigned. I don't know if in front of him these are Ethan's people or not. He resigned.

However, the people in front of him seemed to recognize Ethan's weapon especially after he checked the Eagle logo there.

"Bring them!" exclaimed the man who made Agatha breathe a sigh of relief.

Meanwhile, Theo and Simon are trying to stop Ethan's bleeding from getting worse. In fact, the Don Mafia was no longer able to speak.

All the wounds on his body seem to be taking Ethan's life soon. "We have to stitch up the wound, that's the only way to stop Mr. Mayer's bleeding" Theo said.

"But before that we have to get the bullet out" Simon continued.

Currently they were all still on the flight to the mansion.

"There's no medical device here" said Peter, who seemed very worried about Ethan. "I forgot to prepare, I'm sorry."

"Ck, don't apologize" Joel said, patting Peter on the shoulder. "You've arrived on time."

"But Ethan—"

"It's not the first time he's passed by his death angel" Theo said. "But Mr. Mayer can definitely dodge as usual."

"Have you called the doctor?" peter asked Theo, and the friend nodded quickly.

"Then where are Louisa and her mother?" asked Simon who had just remembered the two women.

"I'm sure they both escaped through a secret door in the tunnel" Joel replied. "So I saw them go into the tunnel, even this old man was about to leave but somehow he came back and pretended to be a hero."

"Maybe he feels guilty" Peter murmured as he stared at Mr. Bertrand's corpse.

"It's actually my fault" said Joel then bowed. "I should have been able to prevent this from happening, I really didn't know Jose could act as he wanted to."

"We've all tried to do our best" exclaimed Peter, who also endured the pain in his arm.

Meanwhile, Ethan's body now begins to feel so cold that even the man has lost consciousness. It makes them all panic, but Peter wins them over and assures them that Ethan will not die that easily.

They take Ethan to one of the special rooms in the mansion, a room that person like the operating room in the hospital because if they are injured in a battle, they are very rarely going to the hospital.

In the room, they deal with Ethan like an expert doctor. They clean Ethan's wound, take out the bullet and sew all the wounds on Ethan's body.

"His heart rate is very weak" the doctor said. "His body is also very cold, we have to work quickly and precisely so that his life is saved."

They all do their job very carefully, though they can't lie to themselves that there's very little chance of saving Ethan. Several bullets lodged in the man's right back and chest, the puncture wounds on his stomach were deep. Not only that, his leg bones also shifted and his head was also injured.

Actually, Ethan was already seeing heavy injuries like this but this was the first time the man had gotten slow treatment. Ethan lost a lot of blood.

While Peter and the others also get treatment because no one was not injured in the incident.

Not long after, two cars of Ethan's men came with Louisa and Lady Agatha. As fast as lightning, they were also handled as best they could.

"We go for important business, honey, not for the holidays" said the mother.

"I don't care, I want to come with you wherever you go." Ethan said very firmly.

"Alright .. well," chuckled the father later. "You want to go with us, Hem? Okay, no problem. But there you can't be naughty, do you understand?"

"Ah, Daddy, when am I naughty? Peter said I was a very kind and intelligent boy, he called me the young master of genius" Ethan exclaimed proudly. "Daddy is no fun, unlike Peter and Simon. Ah, and Aunt Venly too"

"Oh yeah? Then why do you want to come with Daddy? Just stay with Peter and the others."

"I love Daddy even though Daddy's not fun, so I'm gonna go with Daddy and Mommy."
