Chapter 92 - Suspicious

"Actually today is mommy's birthday, I want to give her a surprise" Louisa told Lindka.

"That's a good idea" Lindka said. "Are you going to have a party at your house or something else?"

"I just want to prepare dinner" answered Louisa who immediately made Lindka grimace.

"Simple that?" lindka and Louisa asked just nodding. "Alright, then you should prepare something special for your mother."

Louisa was silent for a moment, she really did not know what to give the mother as a birthday gift. In the past, he could buy luxury items with the money he had. But Louisa felt that luxury goods were now not the top priority in their lives, and they no longer cared about it.

"I want something that means a lot, that makes you happy" Louisa said with a smile. "Ah, I think I know what I should prepare for mommy."

"Then, what about dinner?" ask Lindka.

"I invited you and Ed to the house tonight," said Louisa, she flirted to the right and to the left, looking for the figure of her boyfriend.

"DID!" louisa shouted as she looked at Ed.

The one who was called turned his head, but then Ed immediately rushed away when he saw Louisa.

"Wait, Edward!" Louisa shouted again as she ran towards Ed, Lindka also ran. "What is this about you?" louisa asked after chasing after Ed.

"It's okay" Ed replied, throwing his face away.

"But you always avoid me, are you angry?" louisa's great-grandson, her countenance looked anxious, as if she was really afraid if Ed was angry with her.

It apparently makes Ed could not bear, for days Louisa continues to try to approach him and Ed always avoid.

"Actually ...." Ed lowered. "I'm actually staying away from you because your lover is threatening me" whispered Ed who made Louisa glare perfectly.

"really?" squeak Louisa. "You mean ... Ethan?" Louisa also whispered at the end of the sentence.

Ed just nodded slowly, and again Louisa could only gawk.

"When? Over where? And how can it be?" luisa Cecar.

Not yet Ed told me, Lindka came to interrupt.

"What are you talking about?" lindka asked with a breath.

"Nothing" Ed replied quickly.

"Ed, Louisa's mother's birthday tonight, we should come to celebrate her," Lindka said excitedly.

Ed seemed reluctant, but Louisa forced him. "Nothing will happen" Louisa said as if she knew why Ed refused. "I promise she won't threaten you again" whispered Louisa.

"Really?" ed asked, because he was happy to be friends with Louisa.

Louisa nodded for sure. "All right, I'll come. Should I bring a gift?"

"No need."

On the other hand, Ethan is watching the cctv at every corner of the base, trying to figure out if something is suspicious or not.

"What's up?" ethan asked without looking at the middle-aged man.

"I've found where Dante's daughter is" Simon said, handing over the envelope he was carrying.

Ethan opened it and took out a few photos. An orphanage, and a photo of a little girl who was with a Sister.

"Don't Dante tell his son in the hospital? Why are they in an orphanage?" ask Ethan in wonder.

"Villains like them can't be trusted" Simon snide. "From the information I got, Jose just gave a number to the caretaker of the orphanage and asked them to take Angel to the hospital. He hasn't been operated on."

Ethan is surprised, but then he laughs cynically. A criminal will always be a criminal, and a criminal no one can trust.

Ethan stepped out of his chair with the pictures.

"Where are you going?" ask Simon.

"Walking Dante, he has to know what Jose did to his daughter."

Ethan comes out of his room and he runs into Erik. "Are you going somewhere, Mr Mayer?" ask Erik.

"Yeah" replied Ethan. "I want to get some fresh air."

Erik just nodded then he rushed away.

"Don't come with me" Ethan asked Simon. "Stay in the base and keep an eye on everyone from the cctv."

"Then bring some people to take care of you" Simon said. "In times like these disasters can come at any time and from any direction."

Ethan just nodded without making a sound.

While Erik now goes into the kitchen, he sees some cctv that is there and Erik has to find a way how to get him not caught on camera while running the action later.

"Why are you such a man who wants to plan a robbery?"

Erik was shocked when he heard Peter's voice that was somehow suddenly behind him.

"What do you mean you're talking like that?" ask Erik.

"You kind of pay attention to the cctv, as if you want to do something without getting caught by that cctv," guessed Peter who did not miss at all.

It upset Erik, although Peter was paralyzed, but it did not diminish his analytical acumen.

Peter was only in a wheelchair, but the wheelchair was certainly very sophisticated. Peter could go to every corner of the base by himself, just press a button in the wheelchair.

And as he was watching, he saw Erik enter the kitchen. Something the guy never did before, and then how did Peter not suspect?

"I just want to make sure that all the cctvs are active, especially at a time like this" Erik said.

Peter looked at the man intently, not showing that he believed what Erik had explained.

"I'm suspicious of you" Peter blatantly said. "I'll watch you closely, so be careful if you don't want to lose both eyes!"
