Chapter 26 - Game Round

"Mr Mayer ordered us to go straight in and finish off everything that looks like it's outside the house, you know?"

"Good, Theo."

Theo, one of Ethan's confidants, leads Ethan's men to attack Rae's residence.

And now that Ethan's men are on their way to Rae's house, they're very close and soon to be there.

Not long after, Theo gets a message from Simon to move.

They moved but as they were about to enter the gate, something blocked their path.

The police forced them all out of the car, but of course they didn't want to. The Eagle will not obey the orders of anyone but their Master.

"Hurry out!" exclaimed the policeman while banging on the car glass.

Theo recalled Ethan's message, whoever gets in their way on this mission must be killed that very second. Without thinking any more, Theo got out of the car and immediately slid his hot lead right into the heart of the policeman.

"Disturb!" furious Theo, he also immediately relayed the news to Simon, especially now there are two other police who immediately put a gun on him.

Meanwhile, Ethan's attention returns to his mission after he is almost caught off guard by Louisa's crying.

Simon, who has received a message from Theo, immediately delivers the message to Ethan.

"Said Theo they were blocked by the police, should they also be finished off?" ask Simon.

"You want to kill the police too?" squeak Louisa. "Ethan, don't do that.

"SILENCE!" ethan's instantaneous snaps made Louisa flinch. This is the first time anyone has hit him like this. "One more time you make a sound, I'm gonna punch a hole in your neck, you know?" Ethan hissed right in front of Louisa's face, making the girl fall silent again.

His legs also felt limp like boneless, even Louisa felt he was not grounded on earth.

Both of Louisa's parents certainly did not accept her son threatened like that. "You talk to my daughter, goddamn it!" furious Mr. Bertrand.

Ethan looks at Louisa and he sees the girl's gaze blank, Ethan knows Louisa must be in shock with all this.

"Sit down!" ethan commands while pushing Louisa onto the sofa. "You too!" Ethan also encourages Mrs Agatha.

"Simon, order Theo to finish off anyone who stands in their way!"

Hearing Ethan's orders, Tommy begins to feel anxious because he knows the police are not coming much. Because Tommy could not prove the danger in the house, so the police only sent two or three officers to check.

Inside, Louisa's cries broke even more when she heard the sound of gunfire so many times.

"Quiet, dear," whispered Lady Agatha embracing Louisa.

"That's enough, Ethan!" exclaiming Mr. Bertrand with emotions that had peaked, the middle-aged man immediately ran smashing into Ethan's body until both of them fell to the floor.

Ethan couldn't escape and now the gun's thrown. Tommy who saw it immediately took the gun, Tommy laughed with excitement while pointing the gun to Simon's head.

"Is this how you plan, young man? That's right," Tommy's sneer looked down at Ethan lightly.

Ethan still looks relaxed, even as Tommy steps back by sniffing Simon while yelling for the bodyguards.

"Your game is over, Ethan," the cynical Mr. Bertrand who has tasted wins.

However, Ethan actually approached Louisa who was now only dumbfounded with a blank look. "Lou, you want to count with me?" ethan asked, which made Louisa look at him.

"What else are you planning?" lirih Louisa's.

"Let's count down with me" Ethan said as he grinned.

Tommy and Mr. Bertrand glanced at each other, they really did not know let alone Ethan's plan until suddenly returned the sound of shooting from out there.

In fact, the voice was so close and was heard from the front of the entrance.

"God! I haven't counted down yet but they've started, "laughs Ethan.

Tommy, angry at Ethan, pulls the trigger to finish Simon off. However, a bullet actually penetrated his head first which made Tommy immediately killed that second as well.

"AAAGGGHHHHHH"

Lady Agatha and Louisa were hysterical at the sight of the police they had known so well and were now dead in plain sight.

"Good work, Peter," exclaimed Ethan, now smiling with satisfaction.

While Mr. Bertrand seemed hopeless at the sight of Tommy's corpse, he now felt cornered and confused.

"I came on time" said Peter, who now serves six of Louisa's servants, including Bi Amy.

"My game is short and it's coming to an end, Rae," said Ethan, who now takes his gun back from Tommy's hand. "Because I still have a job as important as killing you" he added.

"I don't mean to play long, I just want to finish and I don't care about the duration."
