Chapter 106 - Finally ....

Five doctors were brought in by Peter to treat Simon and the others. In fact, the enemies are also injured. Welsh doctors also came to treat Ethan and Simon specifically.

The wounds suffered by Ethan's men were not too serious, except for Simon's deep wounds. Moreover, twice he was deliberately stabbed, an act that was quite brutal.

"I thought you'd let them die of rot with those wounds" Peter said.

He glanced at the Welsh Doctor who was now sewing the wound on his arm, he did not groan in pain, as if he had been accustomed to something like this.

"When your body is too beautiful to get a lot of scars like this." The Welsh doctor commented, but Ethan was reluctant to respond. "I'm tired of sewing your wounds." Ethan still did not respond, making the Welsh Doctor only able to sigh heavily.

"But why did you forbid me to jump into battle?" dante asked while playing the gun with his left hand. "I'm not Peter who needs to be your coach, but you won't let me fight. Only two fingers were missing. Not my hands and feet."

Yeah, Dante feels a little surprised by Ethan's decision to ask him to just watch from afar, and only come down when he's needed. Although Ethan says Dante is their secret weapon, he knows the reason it doesn't make enough sense because Ethan and the others are so powerful. In fact, it doesn't even need anyone else's help anymore.

"Maybe things could end early if I helped," Dante added.

Ethan is speechless, recalling how he lived his life after losing his father and mother.

The Welsh Doctor is initially Marlon Mayer's confidante, but his relationship with Ethan leads him to unknowingly consider Ethan, Simon and Peter as family. So subconsciously he always worried about the three humans, and felt nervous when he knew they were involved in a fight.

"Always prepare both," chuckles Ethan casually while smiling.

"Not for me" Peter continued. "I want to buy my own coffin, I want the most expensive and nice one."

"Then prepare from now on, so that later I will not bother looking for the crate you want!" ethan chuckled with a little laugh.

Welsh doctors could only shake their heads at the behavior of the two humans in front of him, who were still joking when they had just come out of the brink of death.

Dante notices them, starting to think Ethan isn't as scary as people talk about, even though he seems like he's going to be a good friend.

"Strong and faithful," Peter replied firmly.

"I've proven both" said Dante, a sign that he wants to join Ethan.

"You're a good father" Ethan said with a meaningful smile. A smile that means subtle rejection because he wants Dante to just be the father of his son, not a member of the Mafia who is always in danger at all times.

"Aarr!" Ethan grimaces as he gets out of bed, takes a check from his pocket and gives it to Dante. "I have prepared a home for you in Singapore, just a few metres from the best hospital there. And there's a job vacancy as the head of security at that hospital."

Dante can only be silent to hear what Ethan says, especially after he saw the nominal money given by Ethan.

"After Angel had the surgery and things got better, go there. Work well in that hospital so that if one day Angel needs help, you don't have to be confused about finding a hospital or the cost."

Now Dante shed tears, not expecting Ethan to give more than he promised.

"I came to kill him" said Dante, glancing at Peter, who was now looking at him intently, as if still angry at the man. "And I did all that for my daughter's treatment. But now what you're giving us is not just medicine, but a new life for us. How should we thank you, Don Mayer?"

"CURE ME RIGHT NOW!" peter exclaimed before Ethan answered, even he said with emphasis.

"I'm a member of the military, not a witch let alone an angel," Dante's circus makes Ethan can only smile, while the Welsh Doctor laughs immediately. But of course that answer made Peter even more angry and upset.

"You're a fucking guy!" furious Peter.

"Go, Dante! It's all done" said Ethan.

Before leaving, Dante put the gun on Peter's lap and said, "I deliberately killed Jose to vent my anger because he lied to me. And also to save Simon from killing an innocent man, because the real fault is that you killed Jose's brother so easily that he devised this deadly plot."

Peter was stunned, feeling that what Dante said was true. All of these problems happened because of Jose's grudge caused by him.

Peter was speechless until Dante left.

Ethan now goes to meet the other men to pay them. Welsh doctors also went to check on Simon's condition, who was still unconscious.

Peter simply fell silent on his wheelchair, recalling how he had behaved all along. So arrogant, emotional, and acting rashly. In fact, Simon always reminded him to think calmly before acting.

"Ck, why do I feel this way?"
