Chapter 45 - Just Want to Protect

Jose followed Louisa who was currently walking out of nowhere, which must have been the girl looking annoyed even once in a while he kicked whatever was in front of her.

Jose was intending to approach Louisa but his steps stopped when suddenly a car stopped in front of Louisa.

Meanwhile, Louisa was also surprised to see a car suddenly stop in front of her. And then he looked up when he saw who got out of the car.

"Ethan?" murmured Louisa couldn't believe it.

"Hello, Miss Rae," said Ethan, trying to be neutral in front of Louisa.

"You?" Louisa still could not believe the man in front of her was the former Bodyguard who had made her world turn upside down.

Jose was no less surprised by Louisa when he saw the Don Mafia was also in this place, immediately Jose's guts shrieked a little even he trembled a little. Moreover, he had heard the story of how sadistic Ethan against his enemies.

Ethan glanced around to make sure no one was watching them, and Jose turned around and walked away from there.

"Follow me!" Ethan immediately pulled Louisa's hand but the girl brushed it off violently, even now Louisa looked at the man with very sharp eyes, full of anger and hatred.

"Everything you want, huh?" Louisa hissing sharply.

"We have to get out of here, you're in danger" Ethan said truthfully but it made Louisa laugh out loud.

"Whatever you say, Lou, but now you're being targeted by Octopus" Ethan said with emphasis.

Louisa's heart was touched to hear Ethan call her short name, the very thing she wanted, first.

However, Louisa's pupils widened upon hearing the word Octopus, and in the next second the girl laughed amusedly.

"What do you mean there's an octopus after me?" ejek Louisa's. "Ah, where is that octopus now? I'll have mommy cook it for dinner" said Louisa, who still felt Ethan was making it up.

It makes Ethan look upset but he tries to hold back.

"Octopus is a mafia gang, Miss Rae," Ethan growled. "They're very dangerous and now they're after you and your family" Ethan exclaimed.

Instead of believing, Louisa actually returned to laughing at Ethan's statement which he thought sounded very funny.

"What am I wrong with that octopus gang, eh? Did I kill their mob Don like in the movies? " Louisa again sneered cynically.

"I don't feel like I have any business with any mafia gang" he hissed then right in front of Ethan's face.

"Please trust me, Louisa!" Ethan is back in a rage. "I just want to protect you" said Ethan.

"Oh yeah?" cynical Louisa. "After you killed everyone who worked with my family, and after you took all my wealth. In fact, after you threatened to kill us. Now you're gonna be the god of salvation? It's funny."

Ethan doesn't know what to say anymore. He has no talent convincing anyone let alone begging that person to believe in him.

"You know this guy?" ask Ethan and show me a picture of Jose.

Louisa looked at the photo carefully. "Yes" he answered later. "He was it__"

"Jose," cut Ethan out quickly.

Louisa is shocked that Ethan knows the name of her neighbor. "He's Roberto's man, Miss Rae, he must have approached you on purpose to take their action" Ethan said.

However, his explanation did not make Louisa believe. The girl looked back at Ethan cynically.

"As you do, hem?" louisa's lips again after that she was about to leave Ethan. However, Ethan quickly pulls Louisa into even carrying the girl on his shoulders.

Louisa squealed in surprise, the girl yelled and hit Ethan on the back.

"Take me off, Ethan!" louisa's scream that makes Ethan grimace, it looks like Ethan's eardrum could break if Louisa kept screaming like that.

"Are you going to kill me?"

"What do you want, damn it?"

"Basic criminals!"

"Fuck!"

"God will bake you at the bottom of hell!"

The swearing doesn't stop coming out of Louisa's tiny mouth when Ethan forcefully puts her in the car.

"Ethan, what do you want?" louisa asked as Ethan tied his hands and feet.

"I just want to protect you" Ethan replied casually.

"Is this how you protect someone?" Louisa raised her tied hands. "Bound, made powerless."

"I'm doing this because I'm afraid you're fighting back, Miss Rae," Ethan concluded.

"I will definitely fight," Louisa replied. "I'm going home, Ethan!"

"I'll take you home" said Ethan. "After that I will take you to a safe place, you must trust me." Further.

"To hell or to heaven?" Once again Louisa sneered which made Ethan start to feel puffed up.

"Where do you want."

Without wasting any time, Jose tells Roberto about Ethan's arrival at Heampstead.

It certainly makes Roberto surprised because he knows Ethan is currently in Russia.

However, after finding out Ethan only comes alone. Roberto immediately felt happy, because he thought this was a golden opportunity for him to conquer Ethan and take over his power.

"We attacked them tonight as well" said Mr Roberto.

"No," Jose quickly denied. "I want Peter, not Ethan!"

"We'll definitely get Peter's head if we get Ethan's head first" Roberto assured.

"Come on, Jose, follow my plan then we'll all achieve what we're after. I want Ethan's head, and you want Peter's head."

"I want to trade Louisa for Peter for Ethan" Jose insisted. "Because I'm not sure we can take Ethan for granted" Jose said.

"We can't do it if we just attack with force. We have to have a strategy first" Roberto said. "Now we have to know where Ethan is."

"He's at Louisa Rae's house" Jose answered as he opened his laptop and pointed to footage from hidden cameras he had installed around Louisa's house.

"Oh, ****. What's that guy doing there? Is it to propose to Louisa?" Cibir Mr. Roberto. "It seems our guess is very true, the man has found his love."

Both of Louisa's parents can only be dumbfounded to see Ethan back. The shadow of death again scares them, building on the trauma they just tried to fainter.

And to his surprise, Ethan offers a salvation?

"Even if the world is doomed and only you can save us, we will not accept your helping hand" sighed Mr. Bertrand arrogantly.

"Then go ahead" Ethan replied calmly. "But I'm gonna take Louisa with me because I'm the only one protecting her."
