Chapter 47 - The Redemption of Sin

"Take us off or I'll shoot you in the head!"

Ethan just smiled cynically at the threat, calmly now he took his gun and pointed it right at Louisa's head. Making the girl back wide, Louisa's heart pounded even now her eyes were red and glazed.

It makes Ethan's heart ache, but he is forced to do this, again to bully Mr. Bertrand.

"Put down your gun or I'll shoot him in the head!" tell Ethan coldly.

Mr. Bertrand was stunned, he looked at Louisa who was still staring at Ethan. "I can't trust you" cried Mr. Bertrand loudly. "What if he's your man? You're gonna finish us off here?"

Ethan clucked irritably, he lowered his weapon and even threw it at Madame Agatha. Of course it made Madame Agatha surprised.

"Do you know what's in your head that you want to blow this out?" cynical Ethan while pointing his own head. "I'm thinking how to get out of here alive, damn it!"

"Down your weapons, Dad," Louisa asked in a low voice.

"But, Lou__"

Louisa reached out her hand to the father, asking for the weapon. "Give it to me, Daddy!"

"Shy__"

"Come on, Dad, Ethan left that gun to me anyway!"

Louisa urged, even she came back crying. His heart was so tight that Ethan treated him like this again.

With the forced Mr. Bertrand gave his weapon to Louisa and at that moment Louisa immediately pointed at Ethan's head.

"If they're not your men, take us out or I'm really gonna blow your head off."

Unlike Louisa who feels hurt when threatened, Ethan actually smiles as if he likes what Louisa does.

"Don't tremble!" tell Ethan to get ready to drive his car.

"What?" ask Louisa.

"Don't tremble when you want to pull the trigger, or your target will miss."

Now Ethan's eyes are sharp again, he's looking for a solution. The only way for Ethan to survive is through a slight gap either on the right or on the left of the truck.

Ethan moves backwards in a left direction to outwit the opponent and it gets the truck in front of him forward, approaching Ethan's car.

Agatha's mistress Louisa and her father screamed as Ethan advanced at high speed then he passed the tanker from the right even as Ethan half-walked down the tunnel wall tilting his car.

Ethan moves too fast so he can get away with it easily.

Meanwhile, Mr. Roberto and Jose can only gap up to see the heroic action of Ethan they never thought before.

"You're saying he wouldn't have gotten away with being surrounded in the tunnels?" pekik Jose's.

"I just know he's Don Mafia who is good at shooting and fighting, I never knew he had the ability of Vin Diesel in fast and furious" said Roberto.

He orders his men to chase after Ethan, even asking his men to shoot Ethan's car.

While on the other hand, Louisa is still shivering after the action performed by Ethan. Likewise with both of Louisa's parents who are now starting to feel cold heat.

Not lost their shock, now Ethan's car in droves with gunfire that makes Louisa and her parents again scream fear.

"Don't be afraid, the car is bulletproof" Ethan said. However, in the next second they actually strapped Ethan's car tires with bullets.

"Is the car's tire bulletproof, too?" ask Louisa.

"Actually yes, it's just that if they shoot continuously like this then__"

Ethan did not finish talking, now their car began to run because the tires of his car managed to be penetrated by bullets. Ethan continues to drive his car as fast as he can, a second tunnel is near and he wants to get there as soon as possible. Ethan tries to get out of the car with his two guns in case anyone tries to attack him.

"Are you going to leave us?" ask Mr. Bertrand.

"You have to get Louisa out of here, I'm going to try to block them" Ethan said as he pulled his pinched leg. He groaned painfully, his knee bone must have been broken.

"Get into the tunnel there, there's a sign on the tunnel wall. Pull the rope that was there, it was a secret door, just follow where it went. You're gonna meet somebody there and show me this gun." Ethan gave up his great weapon.

While Mr. Bertrand was just stunned to hear Ethan's explanation.

"Move fast, stupid!" ethan exclaims to Mr. Bertrand who makes the man immediately exert all his strength to get out of the car

Conscious Madame Agatha also tried to get out on her own by enduring all the pain in her body, and Mr. Bertrand who was now trying to get Louisa out.

Ethan now tries to retrieve the long-barreled gun in the trunk of his car. While enduring the pain, Ethan takes aim at the person in the truck and fires a precise shot at the people's faces. Instant truck oil.

Ethan pulls the truck back, intending to blow it up.

As Ethan struggles alone, Mr. Bertrand now tries to escape after getting Louisa out. He reached the end of the tunnel.

However, his steps stopped immediately upon hearing the sound of an explosion.

He turned his head, and Ethan managed to blow up the tanker truck and it blocked Roberto and his men.

"Ethan!" shouted Mr. Bertrand. "We go together!" invite him in a soft voice.

Now Mr. Bertrand knows what made Ethan not kill him, and he also understands what it means only Ethan can save Louisa.

The man loved his daughter.

Ethan tries to run up to Mr. Bertrand but soon a shot hits Ethan's back.

Ethan is thrown and his weapon is taken out of his hand.

"Ethan!" jeremy Mr. Bertrand.

A helicopter belonging to Octopus came.

Ethan groaned in pain, but he tried to hold back. Seeing this attack, Ethan knew the chances of surviving were very few. He is attacked from the ground and the air and Ethan has no protection whatsoever.

However, what Ethan has in mind right now is not how to save himself but how to save Louisa.

Mr. Roberto orders the snipper in the helicopter to shoot Ethan in the head. However, the order has not been carried out, there is another helicopter that came and attacked the Octopus helicopter.

Along with that, Roberto and his men had already made it through the truck that exploded.

Ethan growled furiously, now he's back to get his gun. He was determined to eliminate the betrayed Octopus.

"Run! Get in the tunnel!" ethan shouted at Mr. Bertrand with the rest of his energy. However, the middle-aged man seemed reluctant to leave Ethan. "I don't want to save you, I just want to save Louisa so run!"

Mr. Bertrand looked at Louisa who was still unconscious in her cradle.

"We have to go" said Madam Agatha who was already feeling very scared there.

However, Mr. Bertrand handed Louisa over to his wife. "Take him on your back" said Mr. Bertrand. "I'll atone for my sin on Eduardo, I'll save Ethan" he said, handing over Ethan's weapon.

"It won't be able to" Madame Agatha rebuked in tears. "He was attacked from all directions, you won't get anything."

"At least I'm trying."
