Chapter 24 - In Danger

As if it had fallen, hit the stairs anyway. That's what's happening to Rae's family right now.

An amateur video spread in the name of it is Louisa's video. Within minutes, the name Louisa Rae became a trending topic on the internet.

Everyone was really surprised and did not expect Louisa to experience such a terrible thing. In fact, Kim was also only able to gap wide watching the video.

In front of Louisa's house, there were many reporters who wanted to find out the news about Louisa. It made Mr. Bertrand angry because it made him unable to step out of the house, the same thing happened to Tommy. That cop is still at Mr. Bertrand's house.

Madame Agatha still looked shocked by what happened, even she was reluctant to eat or even make her look very pale.

"She's going to be fine, baby," Mr. Bertrand comforted the wife. "In the video it's not Louisa, Ethan's just bluffing us, honey."

"really?" peekik Madame Agatha.

"Of course, Tommy's been researching the video and he's not Louisa."

"Oh my God, thank goodness. Where is our daughter now?"

Ethan looks at Louisa who is currently still unconscious after she drugged him with a high enough dose, he did all that to make the two parents Louisa more frightened.

Ethan, Simon, and Peter are on their way to Rae's residence to attack in person.

Ethan deliberately didn't bring his men in now because it could ignite people's suspicions.

However, in the middle of the road he was surprised by the news delivered by Simon.

"The video we sent to them has now been spread across the internet with the Louisa Rae hashtag" Simon said.

"What do you mean?" peekik Ethan can't believe it.

Simon also showed the video which is now a trending topic, Ethan can only glare in surprise.

"This video is only sent to people who are in the Rae family residence, if this video is spread out, it means someone is betraying," Peter said at length.

"Find out where the video came from!" ethan's orders were directly carried out by Simon.

A few minutes later Simon got the location of the person who first shared the video. "Have you?" ask Ethan.

"Yeah" replied Simon. "The location of The Boltons housing," added Simon who made Ethan frown in because the location of the housing is very safe awake, because the people who live there are rich people and high officials.

"Do we need to take care of that first, Mr Mayer?" ask Simon.

"I don't think it's necessary" replied Peter ahead of Ethan. "Whether the video is widespread or not, it's not our problem." Peter glanced at Ethan from the windshield. "Isn't that so, Mr Mayer?"

"Hem," Ethan replies though there's actually a part of his heart that wouldn't be willing if people thought that the girl in the video was Louisa. However, he tried to stick to the original plan. Ethan has canceled one of his plans because he thinks about Louisa, he doesn't want this to happen again.

After traveling for several hours, Ethan and some of his men have entered the area of Louisa's house safely without anyone suspecting a bit, moreover, Ethan accidentally opens the car glass so they can see Louisa in Ethan's car.

"You're working so well, Mr. Mayer, that people don't realize we're coming as angels of death" Peter said.

"That's why I got into the military and worked as a minister's bodyguard, Peter," said Ethan. "To get a good impression and a clean name." He smiled obliquely, feeling that it was so easy to fool them all.

However, Ethan's smile is wiped out when he sees some people around Louisa's house. They brought cameras.

"Damn it, reporter," growled Peter.

"This must be because of the video, they must have wanted to find information." Simon chimed in, while Ethan was looking for a way to get rid of those people.

"Simon, I'm asking for the cctv footage in the mansion" Ethan exclaimed later. "Recording yesterday afternoon, when there was Louisa."

"Spread the video and say Louisa is hiding in The Boltons' housing estate, make sure Louisa's face is clearly visible."

"And before that, track down the full address of the person spreading the video. She must have spread it through her computer or laptop, tracked down her email address and pointed the employees to the guy's house."

Simon and Peter smiled slantingly at this brilliant idea of their boss.

Simon immediately did that, he took out all his hacking abilities to get the identity of the account owner who spread the video.

"It's pretty hard, the firewall's pretty strong" Simon said.

"Ah, I'm starting to doubt the hacking ability. Should I send you back to college?" peter's lips.

"Hacking the system isn't as easy as throwing a bullet in someone's head, Peter," Simon replied. "We use brains, not fingers."

Ethan smiles at Simon, who has a softer heart than Peter, but a much smarter brain. The two men are like a pair of husbands and wives who complement each other to facilitate Ethan's work. One can use his power and one can use his brain.

"Yeah, can!" Simon cheered as he got to that location point.

It only took a few minutes, now all the reporters left the Rae area.

At the same time, Tommy watching the cctv can see a car about to enter the gate of their house.

"That's my car!" exclaim Mr. Bertrand.

In the second that they get a message from Ethan asking them to open the gate, Ethan also sends an image of Louisa unconscious.

"What should I do? Should we open the gate?" ask Mr. Bertrand worriedly.

"There were only three people in the car" Tommy said. "Open it up but have all your men get ready with their guns."

"But what if they're carrying a bomb in that car?" peekik Madame Agatha.

"Then tell them to leave the car outside the gate" Tommy suggested.

And suddenly a message came in Mr. Bertrand's cell phone.

"I didn't carry a bomb, I just brought your daughter because she's my gun!"

Mr. Bertrand was surprised by the content of the message. "How does he know what we're talking about?" muttered.

Tommy looked around him and he could only breathe sluggishly when he realized they had been bugged.

"They're tapping us."

"Damn!"

The message goes back in with a video of Louisa as Ethan slashes Louisa's arm.

"Open the gate in two minutes or I'll slit his neck!"

Lady Agatha who did not want anything to happen to her daughter immediately ordered her men to open the gate.

Meanwhile, Louisa Ethan seems to feel guilty because she has slashed Louisa's arm. Apparently, Ethan's actions that slashed Louisa's arm made the girl wake up from her stupor.

"Any, Ethan! What are you doing?"
