Chapter 85: Testpack Results
Karen opened her eyes slowly. The black iris did not blink looking at the red line on the pregnancy test kit. He reads the instructions contained in the testpack packaging, then matches the results.
Knowing the result, Karen was stunned for a few seconds. He even reread the packaging description and then match it back with the test results. The result is still the same. It's not wrong! But somehow it made him not believe.
"Karen!"
A soft sound accompanied by a knock on the bathroom door made the woman stunned. He hastily hid the testpack along with the packaging wrapper into his trouser bag. While opening the bathroom door, Darren had stood before him with a worried look.
"You why? Stomach pain?" ask Darren.
Karen nodded without a sound.
"A really long time in the bathroom. I'm going to take a shower first, there's two classes this morning." Darren went into the bathroom holding a towel.
Karen sat down at the side of the bed while returning to take the test results. He sighed because the results were in line with his expectations. Yes, there is only one red line that indicates if she is not pregnant. It is possible that the delay in menstruation that he experienced because of some problems that have hit him lately.
It may not be time to get pregnant. If you remember again, in the early days of marriage, he and Darren did bed relations without safety. But stay safe.
For a few minutes, Karen was still pecking. There was only a pair of confused wandering eyeballs. It's weird! For several days he was quite restless because he did not come to the moon. Karen nodded. Her marriage lasted four months. She remembers her last period two months ago, when she took Darren to watch. At that time, they still did not express their feelings to each other.
"But it's not better for you to procrastinate first? You are still in college. No one knows that you are married. It's funny that suddenly friends see your stomach distended," said Nadya.

About thirty minutes later, Karen walked out of the room with a stiffened face. Hearing the doctor's words in the consultation room earlier, made his eyes suddenly teary. He shook his head, refusing to believe what the doctor said. His feet stepped as though they were not powered. Even almost unsteady if only not holding on to the pillars of the walls of the Hospital.
Still rang the sound of the insistence of Oma Belle who asked for offspring from them. Still vividly imagined Darren's happy face when he revealed he wanted to give birth to a child someday. And still clearly remembered the words of Oma Puspa that the descendants of Bratajaya are in a succession crisis.
That pile of memories made his eyes dim as if they were covered in a heart.
"Karen!"
A man's baritone voice shocked him, causing his shoulders to reflexively lift. He turned around and was shocked when he saw Chalvin approaching him. Reflexively, he hid the results of the doctor's examination behind his back.
