SIN (Lecturer Dear)
Chapter 53: Not Wanting to Let Go of Hugs

Chalvin came out of Aswono's grandfather's room, having argued about the change of Brand Ambassador. However, his face suddenly stiffened when he saw Karen standing about two meters away from Aswono's grandfather's room. For a moment, their eyes were rubbed in silence.

Chalvin scratched his head while thinking of finding the right reason, so that Karen did not know she was expelled as Brand Ambassador. For some reason, his mother suddenly appeared to the woman. The reason, just a few hours ago he saw a smile as bright as the one on Karen's face when he knew the ad would appear everywhere. Now, Aswono's grandfather, with his unanimous decision, has ordered him to immediately replace Karen. How should he explain this to his cousin's wife?

"Ah, gini, grandfather said he would review the ads that will circulate. I think the concept that we make does not match his wishes. So for a few days now, you don't have to shoot first" Chalvin said of the shooting that was suddenly stopped.

Karen nodded slowly. "I already know, really," he said with a forced smile, "sorry, because of me. Everything got messy," he continued, biting his lower lip.

His pair of eyes had been foggy since he heard how Aswono's grandfather had gone so far as to return him to his parents' house. Grandpa Aswono's voice that exploded like thunderbolt turned through the space so that the entire chatter entered his ears.

Chalvin turned his face for a moment, then nodded. "That's nothing to think about. Grandpa was also most just angry for a moment. His name is also a parent, look like it's overthinking first. Thought we were living in Majapahit times, huh? The capital kid to the club that night was common, right? I also sometimes like clubbing if it's just for me" said the man trying to cheer him up. Chalvin then stroked his own stomach, "ah, what a laper! We'll eat together, yuk!" take her while walking leisurely past Karen. However, her steps came to a halt when the woman was still sculpting.

(N: overthinking\= excessive worry. This is Jaksel's Ingres)

"I don't know what kind of photos that make grandfather angry, which is certainly. I don't" said Karen softly with a barely audible voice.

Chalvin came back to Karen, and said, "I know, really. And I also believe you don't."

Karen immediately raised her gaze, looking at Chalvin who was commenting on her warm smile.

"I know the real story. Therefore, you do not have to worry, I am on your side. Just wait until Grandpa's emotions subside, then we'll be fine, okay?" Chalvin slightly lowered his head to align his height with Karen's.

Coinciding with that, there was a fight between Oma Belle and Aswono's grandfather inside.

"And I told you before, Darren should be paired with a more mature one, not the same college kid. Yes ... I believe it! his mind still wants to have fun, do not remember to keep the husband's good name and maintain his dignity as a wife," furious grandfather Aswono who is still angry related to Karen's photos.

Chalvin, who was still bowing while looking at Karen, rushed to cover the ears of the woman in front of him.

"Not to be heard!" chalvin said as he pushed Karen away from the place.

Once out of the building, they only realized if the sky had darkened which became a sign of night. Chalvin prepares to drive Karen back to the apartment after the woman refuses a meal. However, just about to turn on the car, his gaze was then fixed towards Karen who was sobbing while covering her face with both palms.

It was hard not to cry, it was hard for him. Where could he possibly continue to be fine after hearing all of Aswono's grandfather's words. In the end, this was the limit of his fragility.

"I've been trying to avoid last night so Darren doesn't worry about me, it turns out bigger problems even arise because of the incident. How to explain the same grandfather and Oma, if to remember the incident had made me traumatized. What if it's been reported, but they still don't believe it and still sue Darren to leave me? I don't want to separate from Darren," sobbed Karen in a disjointed voice.

Hearing Karen's cry, Chalvin simply flinched while exhaling. However, the next second, he stepped on the accelerator pedal and then accelerated above average speed, making Karen jerk. The woman widened her eyes even more, when Chalvin's car stopped right at the nightclub she was at last night.

"If I look at that picture, this is the nightclub you went to, right?" ask Chalvin.

Confused with fear because she recalled last night, Karen nodded and asked, "Yes, but why did you bring me here again?"

"They must hang out here a lot. You remember the guy, right? Come on, let's go find them!" Chalvin opened his seatbelt and got out of the car with eyes like a starving lion.

Karen rushed after Chalvin, then pulled his hand. "Why do you want to meet them?" ask her with fear.

"My master is finished! They not only trap and harass you, but also defame you by sending photos that lead people to negative opinions about you," sahut Chalvin with a playful expression and walked back quickly towards the entrance.

Karen again intercepts Chalvin. "You don't gini! I don't want to go to that place anymore, I don't want to see those people anymore. And I ... also don't want you to get in trouble because of me. Please ...."

"Ta—tapi ...."

"Please ...." Karen pleaded while looking down full.

Looking at Karen's face that was hard on him, Chalvin was only able to look up while exhaling. He was eager to find the man who had done that to his cousin's wife. They got back in the car and went to the apartment.

Karen opened the door to her apartment. Just stepping up, the tantalizing scent that aroused hunger nudged his sense of smell. As his eyes swept through the kitchen, a tall figure was busy in the kitchen with an apron attached to his body.

"Home home?" Darren greeted him with a bit of shock.

"Hum ...." Karen nodded as she walked closer to Darren who was stirring up some vegetables and mushrooms. There is also a butter fried chicken that looks freshly cooked. Her gaze turned to the work clothes her husband was still wearing. That is, Darren just got home, but immediately cooked dinner for them.

"Tumben you cook nights?" ask Karen.

"This is a gift for you because you have started to study really, really," said Darren while tasting soup from a spoon stir.

A sense of haru instantly filled Karen's heart. She hugged her husband from behind. Darren was stunned to receive an impromptu hug by his wife, to the extent that the soup on the spoons spilled and almost hit his hands.

"Take off dong! The soup wants me to put it in the bowl, nih!" darren Pinta.

"No way!" Karen who rested her head on Darren's back, now even more tightened her embrace, as if afraid of losing him.

Darren shook his head at his spoiled wife's behavior. He shifted his legs little by little to grab the bowl and Karen followed him from behind without taking off the hug.

Darren poured the soup he had just cooked into an empty bowl. Meanwhile, Karen continued to stick to her back and was reluctant to take off the circle of hands on her waist.

"If you think this is how I can walk!" Darren complained about his wife's behavior, but did not forbid his wife to continue to stick to his back. Even though he had trouble moving and walked to the dining table while carrying a bowl of hot soup.

Karen let go of her embrace as they were in front of the dining table. She stared at the home menu of her husband's cooking. Mushroom soup, butter fried chicken, and hot white rice. The three dishes seemed to race each other to emit hot steam that soared.

"No one can beat the warmth created at the family dining table with home-style dishes, even luxury restaurants!" darren said as he pulled out a chair for Karen to sit on.

Karen nodded to justify her husband's statement. She sat down, and put the rice on her husband's plate. That simple thing he had never done in three months of being a wife.

"No boy?" darren asked as Karen began to eat her cooking.

"Hum ...." Karen replied with a nod.

"The soup is salty, isn't it?"

Karen shakes. Tonight, he really didn't talk much.

"It used to fit in London this became my mainstay food¹ comford."

The clang of the spoon clashing with the glass plate had to pause for a moment when Darren's phone rang suddenly. The man's forehead wrinkled as soon as he knew that the one who called him was Aswono's grandfather. Of course he still does not know, what makes his grandfather suddenly call.
