Chapter 40: Preparation

Chalvin immediately stopped his action which was busy donating saliva to his secretary. He rubbed his lips to clean the remnants of the lipstick attached. While her secretary looked aghast and straight out of the place, it passed Karen who was still in shock.

"Have you finished the makeup?" chalvin asked casually as he exited the dressing room.

Karen held the man's arm, saying, "A lot of cheap hotels in Jakarta!"

Chalvin laughed silently, then said, "The cave is looking for places that make the heart of the cave feel!"

"If that's what you should have invited the woman to kiss in the lion's den, let's be more real the sensation!" ketus Karen while flicking the curtains.

Chalvin smiled as he looked at the curtains that had been closed. It seemed, Karen's outspoken attitude was enough to attract her attention.

Darren immediately replied to the message. Of course he can't come. After replying to his wife's message, Darren sends a message to Chalvin.

Karen and Chalvin sit facing each other while eating Japanese dishes. Suddenly, Karen's phone rang a reply from Darren.

Karen fell silent and did not move her chopsticks. It made Chalvin laugh lightly.

Karen who heard Chalvin's babble only chose to continue eating it greedily.

After eating, they also visited a store that sells branded dresses. Although not holding hands and slightly keeping their distance, both look like lovers. After that, Chalvin immediately took Karen to a famous salon that worked with their cosmetic products. There, Karen returned to her selfie to prepare for launching tonight. Because Karen is their latest brand ambassador for lipstick, Chalvin asked MUA and hairstylist to change the appearance of women like a classy star.

Darren went to the star hotel where their product launching event will be held. His wife's face has been plastered on a large poster as a brand ambassador. Guests from all walks of life also filled the room. Darren's pair of eyes were busy monitoring the surroundings to look for Karen.

Darren approached Oma and her grandfather. "Oma, where's Karen?"
