SIN (Lecturer Dear)
Chapter 65: Gossip on Campus

The nurse turned to Chalvin and said, "Please register first, yes!'

Chalvin pulled Karen's arm to her side and said in a stifled voice, "What do you mean tell her husband's cave?"

"So let's break even" Karen said with a hand that showed two fingers forming the letter V.

"Where does hamili go? He has no partner, does he?" chalvin whispers.

"Cowok who impregnated Nadya was a jerk and they broke up. Then I can't possibly call her family and tell her she miscarried. I know how Nadya's family is."

"Yes, what's the cave related to?"

Chalvin sighed while rubbing the nape of his neck. Having just moved to the registration place, he instead saw Darren running hastily towards them and then approached Karen who was beside him.

"Why you?" darren asked with a panicked look while cupping Karen in the face.

"I'm not papa, I'm."

Karen recalled that while heading to the Hospital, Darren called to offer an invitation. However, she said she was heading to the hospital without explaining anything to her husband.

Surprised to hear that, Darren calls Chalvin to find out. Unfortunately, Chalvin who was also busy helping Nadya board the patient's gurney, only said their Hospital address was now. Their incomplete answer leads Darren to think something has happened to his wife.

"What really is papa?" Darren looked up and down as if to make sure that his wife was okay.

"Yes. I'm just nganterin Nadya." Karen chuckled as she touched the side of Darren's face that was soaked in sweat.

Darren took Karen's hand and then kissed the back of the tiny hand. "Thank God you're okay!"

Chalvin watched the couple's warmth. However, when the two turned their heads towards him, he immediately turned his eyes away and said, "Well, there is no morality, no! Pleasure in front of a jomlo!"

"You told me to accompany Karen to the hospital."

"Yes, I'm not wrong to say that. It's right, though. You're the one who caught it too much," looked at Chalvin and left.

Karen approached Nadya who was lying weakly. Seeing him, Nadya even threw her face while holding back tears. Just like Karen and Chalvin, Nadya was surprised to know the pregnancy and miscarriage she experienced.

"I'm so ashamed of you" Nadya said, biting her lip.

"Appaan, anyway! Like someone else." Karen tried to respond casually.

"I really didn't know I was pregnant. Three days ago, Vera was convinced I was playing together, and I kept drinking wine. I'm really stupid!"

"It wasn't your fault, Nad. Her fetus could not survive probably because it was not her destiny to be born yet. Stop beating yourself up!" Karen hugged Nadya who was sobbing.

"But I'm so broken. Is there still a guy who wants to be with me?" Nadya was sobbing on Karen's shoulders.

"There must be. All you have to remember is that we are women, not goods" Karen said.

"My life is a mess, Kar. I've been giving virgin me the same jerk guy. I told you that I broke him up, that's actually him cheating on me and staying with me. If papa and Mama I know I'm pregnant and miscarried, I'll be finished, Kar! They know I'm in college here." Nadya continued to regret everything that had happened.

Karen rubbed Nadya's back. This time he chose to be quiet and listen to everything Nadya revealed. Because he understood very well what Nadya needed at this time was not wise advice, judgment for his error, or just a "patience, yes." However, someone who wants to hear and accommodate his complaints.

Nadya flinched suddenly as her direction of view aligned with the door. He realizes that both Darren and Chalvin are there. He pushed her body quickly.

"Sir Darren and Chalvin's sister know I'm having a miscarriage?"

Karen nodded small with her lips tightly clenched.

"I must've been branded bad with them!" Nadya showed her side.

"Why should I want to judge people, anyway!"

Nadya lay down and turned to Karen. "You go home, Kar. Chalvin's sister also told me to go home. Sorry for your repotins."

"Well, why ...."

"Please, Kar ...."

Karen looked at Nadya's back with sadness. His feet were heavy stepping away from his best friend. He approached Darren and Chalvin who were chatting lightly.

"Nadya told me to go home" said Karen weakly.

"Yes, let's take a break. Tomorrow you come here again" Darren replied.

Darren immediately grabbed Karen and took her home. Chalvin tried to peek into the room, before finally catching up with Darren and Karen.

Karen stood outside the building while waiting for Darren to take her car.

"It's a good thing you didn't miscarry. The cave can imagine how Darren looks," said Chalvin who was suddenly beside Karen.

"I'm the same Darren has kids."

"Oh, huh? Does Grandpa Oma agree that you have children? They want to have a great-grandson, you know. They marry Darren is one of the goals so that you can give birth to the next generation of Darren's father. Darren likes kids too."

Karen was shocked to hear the last sentence Chalvin said. "Huh? Darren likes kids?" he murmured in the heart.

"Ah, I forgot. You're still a student, aren't you? It fits if you have a child first," continued Chalvin as he passed.

On the way home, Karen was still worried about Nadya. Leaning spoiled on Darren's arm as usual, he suddenly recalled Chalvin's words just a moment ago.

"Darren," she called him weak.

"Hum ...."

"If I had miscarried how?"

"Yes, sad!"

"Sad why?"

"There are no parents who are not sad to lose their baby candidates. Except for the one from the beginning, there was no intention of having children."

...----------------...

Time changed so fast that it did not feel like the morning had greeted and forced people to do the routine. Karen enters the class preparing to receive the course Darren will be taking. He stared at his phone screen for a moment, checking the message he had just sent to Nadya. The message was read but not answered.

"Ren, where's Nadya, huh? Tumben belom is coming!" asked Vera who took a sitting position next to Karen.

"Ah, I don't know either!" replied Karen who deliberately hid last night's events from Vera.

Shortly after, Darren enters the class with a charm that captivates the students.

"Ra, didn't your tumben photograph Mr Darren secretly as usual?" ask Vera's friend who is sitting next to her.

Vera turned her head for a moment towards Karen, then said, "Gue has stopped idolizing Mr. Darren. I realized he couldn't be had. Yeah, no, Ren?" Vera nudged Karen's arm while raising her forehead.

The material has been going on for an hour. Surprisingly, students remained enthusiastic to hear the exposure of the lecturer whose face and appearance spoiled their eyes.

"Any turn of the year, will give birth to new technologies. There will be a time when human power is no longer used because it has been replaced by engine power. For companies, engine power is more efficient than human power. Machines are more deft, do not waste a lot of time and do not need to be paid. But, there's one thing that machines don't have and that's human excellence."

All were silent as if waiting for a paused sentence that Darren threw.

Darren's index finger moved slowly, pointing at his own head. "Brain. Yes, the thing that no machine can match from a human is the brain. Where in the brain there is creativity and imagination. So from now on, prepare yourself to compete with the machine. Use your creativity and imagination in your work. Because, if the machine breaks, he can't repair himself. On the contrary, man can still rely on reason if there is a problem or error in work."

After Darren's course ended, Karen packed her things quickly. He plans to visit Nadya. Vera, who had left the classroom, suddenly entered again with a panicked face.

"Ren, have you seen the bulletin board, the balloons?"

"What's wrong?" karen asked calmly.

"There's a photo of you on the big screen!"

Karen widens her eyes. He and Vera immediately ran towards the notice board which was right in front of the faculty building. His eyes were increasingly buying when he saw his picture plastered complete with a writing.

"Karen Aurellia is one of the economics lecturers."
