Half an hour later, seeing Karen begin to really do her job, Darren took the initiative to give a small gift. He headed for the kitchen and ransacked the fridge. He plans to make a special meal for his wife.
After being busy switching professions to become an impromptu chef, Darren returned to the room with a plate of fried rice. The tantalizing fragrance began to tickle Karen's sense of smell.
Karen looked impatient tasting fried rice made by her husband. Once the food was presented in front of him, he immediately took a spoon and began to taste.
"Enak, no?" asked Darren who was sitting next to the woman.
"Great boy!"
"Boat dong!" Darren opened his mouth.
Vigorously, Karen scooped the fried rice into Darren's mouth. Two inches away, suddenly one of their servants came in to tell them that there was a guest looking for Darren. So, the man immediately went to the living room leaving Karen who was using her bright science to guess who the guest who wanted to meet Darren these nights.
Unable to resist curiosity, Karen chose to become an impromptu paparazzi. He followed Darren towards the living room. From behind the pillars upstairs, he could see a mature woman who was so graceful and beautiful was waiting in the living room.
"Darren, we can finally meet again!" The woman approached Darren as she was about to hug him. Unfortunately, Darren immediately dodged.
"What the hell did you do the nights out here?"
"You don't want to pick me up. Oh, yes, I brought your mama's souvenirs with Oma Belle. They exist, don't they? I also want to see them."
Karen who heard their conversation, immediately realized that the tall woman who was slim white like a vermicelli was a former Darren.
The past can be your "problem". Here's proof. At a time when Karen and Darren have been attracted to each other, the former lover of the man instead comes to harass them.
Being busy peeking, his eyes were sidetracked at the pillar that was next to him. Oma Belle is doing the same. The twilight-aged woman bowed while putting on sharp eyes with a body hidden behind pillars.
Karen approached him. "Oma, what is Oma doing here?" he asked, "Come, Karen anterin to the room. Oma has to rest a lot."
"Sstt ...." Oma Belle tells Karen to shut up. Next, the middle-aged woman again monitored Darren and his former lover.
Seeing Oma Belle who seemed enthusiastic to see her husband with an ex-lover, made Karen bow down moody. Oma Belle then turned her head back towards Karen who was looking foolishly beside her.
"You're still here?! That's the husband you met his ex-girlfriend, he's got a spit there! Tell that woman that you're her wife so she doesn't bother Darren anymore!" oma Belle's orders are full of worries.
Karen jerks. It turned out that Oma Belle was on his side. He smiled faintly and said, "No need, Oma. I believe in Darren."
"Oma also believes in Darren, but we can't trust that woman. He almost ruined Darren's life!"
Karen's eyes are round. "What ever happened between them, Oma?"
"Then they almost got married. Darren was ready for everything, uh he broke up Darren and went to America. Darren's been heartbroken for years. He does not want to have a serious relationship with another woman, yes. Good thing Oma maxain he married you! So she can't go back to her!"
Karen's stunned. He returned to the room in a troubled mood. What Oma Belle told me was ringing in her head. She never thought her husband had planned a wedding with someone. He even experienced heartbreak.
In the living room, Darren's ex-girlfriend is now persuading the man to accompany her to coffee outside while giving up longing.
"Sorry, I can't, Sha. Right now, I'm no longer the Darren I used to be. We have no relationship. Mending you go home!" reject Darren.
The woman named Marsha was holding the man's hand. "Are you still angry with me for leaving you?"
"No, really. The proof is that I've been telling you a lot, right?"
"Dar, please .. I've been looking forward to our meeting. You should be able to make time tonight." The woman even squeezed in front of him.
Right after Darren said that, suddenly a female soft voice came from behind. "Who's coming, honey?"
Darren and Marsha compactly looked back. At this moment, Karen went down the stairs in a graceful style like a classy adult woman. Apparently, he deliberately polished thin makeup on his face and changed clothes that nuanced dress.
Marsha turned to Darren as if asking for confirmation. Because, he just heard Karen call Darren affectionately.
Darren immediately pulled Karen's hand gently and turned towards Marsha. "Sha, know this is my wife" Darren said without trying to cover up his marriage to Karen.
Marsha of course jumped instantly. After not meeting for years, the man she had been in a relationship with was married.
Karen turned her head towards Darren while rolling her sleeves. "You didn't say there were guests. In fact, I've been waiting for you while ngabisin your fried rice." Apparently, Karen was deliberately acting sweet to provoke the woman. He had refused to disturb both. However, hearing Oma Belle's story that the woman once broke Darren's heart, she became eager to introduce herself as the man's wife.
Karen then glanced towards Marsha who was still putting on a look of disbelief. "Oh, yes, forgot ...." Karen stretched her hand towards Marsha. "Karen Aurellia."
Instead of welcoming Karen's hand, Marsha said, "Look young, huh? Don't think you've changed your taste buds, Dar," the long-haired woman grinned at Karen.
"really. I changed my taste as you see it now. He's still a student where I teach" Darren said.
Marsha's eyebrows appear raised knowing the woman married by her former lover is still a student. "Wow, what a coincidence, dong! I'll also teach at the same university as you."
Karen and Darren are stunned to learn Marsha will be a lecturer at the same campus.
With a small smile, Marsha again said, "See you, Karen! Hope we meet in class later!"
After Marsha's return, Karen and Darren return to the room. Again, Karen could not hide her jealousy. Darren immediately pulled his wife's hand, but not to persuade but to hold her face.
"Why are you suddenly so pretty?" he said while pressing both of Karen's cheeks.
"I'm just having bad days, huh?" ketus Karen's holding Darren's wrist.
"It's funny to see you dance at home at night." Darren scowled and this time pinched his wife's cheek in a fit of anxiety.
"Yes, that. Face your ex-boyfriend must be more beautiful. Let's not lose the competition."
Darren smiled weakly. "You don't have to compete with anyone. Because you've been the winner, as my wife."
Karen's eyes sparkled at the man's words. Although there was fear and worry in his heart.
The couple fell asleep in a hug. As the night sank deeper into the dissolve, incense could be heard sobbing sounds that disturbed Darren's hearing, making him wake up. With eyes holding back the drowsiness, he turned his head towards Karen who was turning her back with a shoulder that seemed to shake as if she was being mired in grief.
"Kar, you haven't bobo? Why are you crying?" darren asked with concern.
Karen did not answer, but her cries became more insufferable. Darren holding his wife's shoulder forced him to turn around, the light from the girl's phone instantly dazzling his eyes.
I'm watching a drama series. Very sad, the guy left girl after actor," said Karen with a sobbing voice while showing the series she watched on the Zettv application.
Instantly, Darren directly patted his eel. "Yes, geez! Kirain what's up, it's just a soap opera victim, ckckckck!"
