Ch. 139: Chalvin Chasing Love

Motivators who cannot motivate themselves have said that the way to not get tired of doing work is to not do it. It sounds silly, but it's actually a sarcasm for people who often complain about their work.

Starting today, Darren decided to take his wife to his family's cosmetics company. Even though he had to adjust his wife's schedule and shift his schedule to campus.

Darren stopped his car right on the company page. "You want to go home, just chat me, okay?"

"okay." Karen opened the seatbelt. She glanced at her husband and said, "Don't you give me anything before you leave?"

Darren took the wallet in his pants pocket, then opened the contents. "How much do you need for a snack?"

Karen immediately grinned. "I want to kiss!" he said while putting his index finger on his lips.

Darren pulled Karen's head gently to her side, then briefly peeked. "Well, that's it, right?"

"Ih, don't want to! It wants to be here," whined Karen as she pointed to her own lips.

Darren looked at the quiet looking parking area, he then tilted his head slowly. While Karen had closed her eyes with her lips slightly raised as if ready to welcome her husband's kiss.

Suddenly someone tapped on the driver's side window which made the two flinch. Darren lowered the car glass. From the outside, Chalvin is seen standing with a half-pointed body adjusting the height of Darren's car.

"Got very long out of the car. Waiting cave from earlier," protested Chalvin grumbled.

Apparently, Darren and Chalvin's car went hand in hand while heading to that place. Karen got out of the car.

"Ngapain was waiting for me too," when Karen put up a scowl because Chalvin came to disturb his affection for Darren.

From inside the car, Darren looked at Karen and Chalvin who were walking hand in hand towards the building. At the same time, Farel, who had just arrived at the company, accidentally saw Karen enter the elevator with Chalvin.

"That's not Nadya's friend, the girl Feril's after, is it?" muttered Farel with squinting eyes, then smiled slanted, "it's also fun at the office. Unexpected people show up here, who else, huh?"

During the filming of the commercial, Chalvin's eyes could not be seen Karen. Really, he doesn't understand himself now. Since realizing her feelings, her gaze seemed to continue to be on Karen. He wasn't even interested in playing around with women as usual. However, despite having feelings for his cousin's wife, he had no intention of going far.

On a hot afternoon, Chalvin exited the building and walked a few meters with glowing eyes around the courtyard. The man's hand was holding a cell phone. He saw Nadya who was standing not far from the security post, then approached her.

"What does it take to come here all of a sudden and meet?" ask Chalvin.

Nadya looked at Chalvin with a nervous face and both hands hidden behind her back.

Seeing that the girl was silent and just looking at him, Chalvin said back. "You need something, or you want to ask for help spill it! Don't worry about it."

Nadya immediately handed over a pink rectangular box that was long enough hidden behind her back. "This is for Chalvin's brother."

"What's that?" chalvin asked while looking at the box.

"It's chocolate. Coincidentally I just bought this near here. So I bought two and gave one to Chalvin's brother" Nadya stammered. Somehow he stuttered like this when faced with the man. He didn't even dare look Chalvin in the eye.

Chalvin extended his hand forward, not to take the chocolate proffered to him, but to reject it while pushing the box towards Nadya. "Sorry, the cave does not like chocolate, the calories are high. Than I take but the edges are not snacked, mending the chocolate you just eat. Oh, yeah, I still have business. I'm staying, yeah!"

After Chalvin stepped away from him, Nadya raised her face while looking at the man's back with a disappointed look. He turned weakly toward Karen who was monitoring them from behind a security post.

"You saw it for yourself, didn't you, Kar. He's not even interested in the stuff I love."

"No. We are wrong. We shouldn't have given him chocolate. I forgot, Chalvin's not an ABG guy, he's a mature guy. But we treated him to a cake our age with chocolate." Karen rubbed her bangs back while exhaling a rough breath.

Not felt, time has moved to the afternoon. Chalvin approached Karen who was packing her things after the filming was completed.

"Kar, you were ushered home by the office driver first, huh? I'm still waiting for people, right!"

"Oh, yeah, thank goodness!"

When Chalvin was about to leave, Karen held him down. "Eh, uh, do you want to go overtime or what?"

"No, the cave came home this afternoon."

"Oh, yes." Karen smiled knot. That is, he can run a second action to make Nadya and Chalvin become closer.

As Karen expected, Chalvin did return home an hour after that. Just about to climb the stairs, he was jolted to see the presence of Nadya who was in the house. He approached her immediately.

"Why are you here?" chalvin whispered with an unhappy expression.

"Oma asked for it. He called me on Karen's cell phone." Nadya reasoned. Yes, it was Oma Belle who called him. But it was all planned for Karen and she knew it herself.

"Why don't you refuse? You already know for yourself, right, Oma will continue to discuss the application. And we can't give you the same answer."

Nadya looked down and could only nod her lower lip. Seeing it like that, Chalvin seemed to be able to understand his position that was wrong.

"Sorry, I'm the wrong one constantly implicating you. Yeah, well, you had a chat with Oma and Karen. Be careful, don't talk about what makes them suspicious!"

"Sister Chalvin wait!" hold Nadya as Chalvin rushes off.

Chalvin turned back towards him. Nadya pulled something out of the pocket of the jeans she was wearing. It was two tickets to a movie.

"Sister Chalvin don't have time tonight? I have two movie tickets, right. I don't know who to ask. She was going to talk to Karen, but she couldn't because she had to go with her husband at home."

Chalvin stared flat at Nadya's hand that offered the movie ticket. "Sorry, I don't really like watching. Especially watching a romance movie. Wasting time in my opinion."

After saying, Chalvin immediately left Nadya. Karen rushed to her best friend. Nadya looked at Karen softly, but the corner of her lips still forced her to smile.

"From the beginning I was self-conscious. How could Chalvin's brother be interested in me." Nadya was weak.

Karen held Nadya's hand as she said, "No, everyone deserves to be loved no matter what their status. Relax, I'll find out what Chalvin likes!"

Karen realized she had a wrong strategy. Therefore, he needs to get to know Chalvin further in order to help Nadya win the man's heart. Karen then went into the room to approach Darren who was typing a journal. She took a sitting position on her lap while holding her hand to her husband's neck.

"Gini kek gini make me sniff something know no" said Darren with eyes that continue to focus on the laptop screen.

"What does it try?"

"Bau-bau .. people want that," Darren replied with a stifled smile, "already, just get to the point."

Because Darren already knew his purpose, Karen was immediately outspoken. "Darling, you know what Chalvin likes best?"

Darren's aura suddenly changed. Even his fingers stopped typing instantly. "Why do you want to know?"

"Hmmm .. I'm not the one who wants to know, but Nadya. He wants to know what Chalvin likes."

Darren is suspicious. At one time, Chalvin and Nadya's relationship was only fictitious. Chalvin didn't dodge it when he tried to ask questions last night. If so, is it really Nadya who is about to find out that?
