From the moment Chalvin's apartment, Nadya suddenly closed herself off from anyone. He was more busy taking care of his uncle's cafe than spending time linger on campus. In fact, tend to sit alone in the corner of the room when the course takes place. This of course leaves Karen and Vera confused and wondering. Nadya also seems to avoid them.
On the other hand, bird news of her pregnancy began to circulate among the students since Karen's appearance changed from usual. The woman now prefers to look natural in a loose dress and heels. Suspicion of his classmates was increasing when Marsha filled the current course.
At the end of time, Marsha asks Karen to replace the class leader to collect the assigned task sheet. Karen walked around each sorority bench to pick up the task sheet. Some of the students sitting in the corner of the room were gossiping and were overheard by Karen.
"Eh, listen, Miss Marsha and Mr. Darren have been dating for a long time, youh!"
"Seriously? How can you break up? It fits, loh! The cave used to see them along the road with a very mismatched cake," the response of other students.
"Cua also shipper them both. But, news if Mr. Darren is married, no, anyway?"
"Don't know! If you're married, be curious about your wife! Level above Bu Marsha or down, nih!"
Hearing the chatter of his friends, making Karen's heart shrink. When she was about to move to the bench occupied by Nadya, the woman quickly shifted the answer sheet in the corner of the table and was busy playing her phone as if she refused to look directly at Karen.
As soon as everything was gathered, Karen went forward to hand over the task sheet of her friends to Marsha.
"Here, Mom."
Not immediately taking a pile of paper in Karen's hand, Marsha's hand even stroked Karen's stomach from behind her dress.
"Eh, still flat, huh, stomach? Kirain is getting big!"
Karen rolled her eyes. Although Marsha's words are not explicitly explained, but through the movement of her hands in the stomach of Karen certainly got attention from her classmates.
"Eh, Karen's pregnant, huh?" His classmates were wondering.
"Ah, don't-don't the vitamins that fell that time got her again! Mana pake sok says Nadya's gun! Shame, yeah, got caught pregnant?" cerocos one of the few mouths that do not hesitate to throw a spicy scorn.
They did not even hesitate to ask Marsha directly. The students were willing to pursue Marsha who had just dropped out of class after successfully herding the opinions of Karen's classmates.
"Mom, didn't you talk to Karen about maternity leave? Is Karen pregnant, huh, Mom?" ask some of the students with an acute level of curiosity that is already beyond help.
"Well, ask me. Ask the guy, dong!" marsha replied as she passed.
Vera pulls Karen out, intending to take her out so as not to hear slanted comments from her classmates. However, Karen instead held Vera's hand that was about to pull her. Instead of worrying about her because of Marsha's words, Karen instead focused on Nadya's sudden indifference with the people around her.
"Nad, you want to go back to the cafe, okay?" karen asked, holding Nadya's hand.
"Hum ...." Nadya simply replied with a small nod and a slow dehumane, then left.
"Ver, don't you feel weird about Nadya's attitude lately?" karen asked as she looked at Nadya who had just passed in front of them.
"Hes, at most he's upset about the new guy! Kan he was also busy chasing his uncle's cafe revenue target," Vera replied lightly.
Karen knew her friend had been preoccupied with her new venture, but she could feel that Nadya was keeping her distance from anyone, including herself. He certainly felt something strange about the change of his friend. Although he did not know the cause, but he felt Nadya changed him since the class furore a few days ago because of the discovery of vitamins pregnant women. He also felt guilty because he thought Nadya must be hurt by the words of Feril who accused her of being pregnant. He knew that Feril's speech only opened the old wounds of Nadya that only known by him, Darren and also Chalvin. If only at that time he dared to be honest, maybe Nadya did not need to listen to the ominous words from Feril.
"Since when was the library bench just dipake to sit down daydreaming? Just looking for a seat, you know!" The voice of the man who was familiar to him suddenly blew.
Karen looked beside her seat. He was astonished to see Darren sitting next to him with his hands busy correcting a thesis. I don't know when that guy suddenly showed up. However, this was the first time they had sat parallel like this without any barriers or barriers. Karen had to look left, right and back just to make sure no one saw them.
"Darren, are you here?"
"I'm always here. You just came to the library again. Aye, right?"
"No, I mean why am I sitting next to me?" Karen even shifted her butt so as not to get too close to her husband.
"Did anyone deny it?"
"Well, anybody see, how?" Karen lowered her voice.
"Yes, no papa. Nothing's wrong, right? Here we are teachers and students. In our house husband and wife."
Karen was silent for a moment while sighing. "Nobody knows we're husband and wife. I'm confused about my pregnancy."
"Why confused? Because no one knows you're married? Yes, just tell me you're my wife" Darren replied casually.
"It's so easy!"
"Keep, what's hard? We're not artists who need clarification, are we? If asked or someone suspects, yes, just answer the truth. Except .. if you have the intention of keeping our marriage a secret forever. Until now you don't want to make the ring that I love," Darren said.
Karen flinching. Suppose he had such courage. Telling out loud if Darren is her husband when her classmates are suspicious about her pregnancy. Unfortunately, his guts first shrunk out of fear of hearing the response from the people. Darren was too great, too tall, too classy to be paired with his mediocre one. That assumption is what he feared coming out of people's mouths later.
Unbeknownst to Karen, lately her husband has been blatantly exposing their relationship in front of the students and lecturers. The man began daring to sit next to him, letting Karen in and out of the research room to take the daily lunch caterer, even showing his attention in front of the students as he had done a few days ago.

Not noticeably, the color of the sky had turned dark. Chalvin had just arrived in Jakarta after being in Bandung for two days to monitor their new factory. He opened the door to his apartment, pushing a small suitcase. Thirst demanded that he open the refrigerator to find something to drink. When he was about to take one of the drinks, he was stunned to see a row of food ingredients neatly arranged in his refrigerator.
Yes, after that night, Chalvin did go straight to Bandung the next day. However, he tried to contact Nadya and sent an apology message. Unfortunately, until now the girl did not return the message.
Chalvin looked back, precisely at the sofa they had occupied. His brain indirectly recorded back what happened there. On that couch, he did three stupid things at once. First, kiss her without excuse. The kiss was too spontaneous and just happened. Second, get too carried away until you repeat the kiss a second time. Third, try to divert the reflection actions he did on the pretext of just wanting to test the girl.
To be honest, it was not only Nadya who was clumsy after the kiss happened. He is too. Only, the man was good at covering up his true feelings and body language. He also realized that he had thrown a pretty spicy sentence without considering the feelings of the girl who had been his fake lover. Really, from the bottom of his heart, he did not mean to hurt or play tricks on the girl. The words were thrown precisely so that Nadya could be more alert to him or to other men who approached him.
I don't think the clock has shown ten o'clock at night. It was time to close the cafe for Nadya after her two baristas had been left home first. But before that, he must first check the supply of coffee and other ingredients. While busy taking stock of materials, suddenly a silver-colored luxury car stopped right in front of his cafe. Along with that, Chalvin got out of the car.
