SIN (Lecturer Dear)
Chapter 102: The Sedating Hugs

"Hey, Ren, you want to move," Chalvin said, looking at Darren's luggage.

"Soally Karen's probably gonna stay here a week until the biopsy results come out. Oh, yeah, you guys been here a long time? How can you do that?" tanya Darren approached the two.

Marsha took a step straight from Chalvin. "I was dinner with the other lecturers. Then, suddenly, Mr. Budi said that you could not come because your wife was sick. So I took the initiative to come here, not even met Chalvin. So, all of us," explained Marsha at length.

"Coming or coming julid," Chalvin murmured in a voice almost whispering as he opened his eyes. Inevitably, a cynical gaze from Marsha also led to him.

"That's it, let's go in!" take Darren with you while opening Karen's nursery door.

Marsha with a confident smile, then immediately walked after Darren. Unfortunately, his steps were immediately intercepted by Chalvin who first held his hand.

"We just finished looking at Karen, really. I had a conversation too. Let Karen rest. I'm the same Marsha wants to go home first. I think we want to stop eating while reunion reminiscing about the time of High School," said Chalvin while grinning.

Chalvin's words, no doubt make Marsha turn quickly towards him with wide eyes.

Meanwhile, Darren instead responded casually. "Oh, that. Thanks, yes, Marsha did bother coming here. Greetings to other lecturers, I might not be entering campus until the semester holidays."

Just now Marsha was about to say, Chalvin even stuck first. "Yes, already. You come in, there! From that Karen nyariin you. He said long ago! Sick people are easy to swallow, you know!"

Darren nodded, then opened the door of Karen's nursery.

Forced smile framed on Marsha's lips. Instead of encouraging her ex-boyfriend, she was not given a chance by Chalvin to speak a word. After Darren walks into the room, Chalvin becomes the target of his frustration.

"What, anyway, you?" attack Marsha.

"You can't do good or just sympathize, mending your oral resistance so as not to hurt others." The words jumped out of Chalvin's mouth.

The casual-looking man twisted his body casually, leaving behind a furious-looking Marsha. Actually, he still wanted to know Karen's situation further. However, if he does not leave immediately, then Marsha will remain there to attack Karen mentally.

"How good is he to be able to win the hearts of Darren and Oma Belle, it's behind Chalvin too!" merrily Marsha was upset.

His current actions, were only a form of jealousy and ego in him. This often happens to people who have not moved on from their past. Gusar sees the happiness of the ex-lover with his partner, instead feel happy when the ex-lover is hit by problems with his partner. He just wants to prove that there is nothing better than him.

Darren walked into the room carrying a bag and pulled a suitcase containing the needs of his wife. His arrival was of course greeted by Karen cheerfully.

"Chalvin's just like Miss Marsha's back, huh?"

"Yes, just got away."

Karen's stunned. The words of Marsha who said that if Darren was often hit by problems since marrying him, suddenly flashed in his mind.

In life, there are not only people who want us, but also people who don't want us. So why not just focus on the people who want us? Such was what Karen had in mind at this moment when she began to realize her presence on Darren's side, not being liked by Marsha. However, that does not mean he does not think about all the words of Darren's former lover.

Darren turned his head for a moment, looking at Karen who pecked for quite a long time with a hand that could not be separated from the device.

"Stop play hp! You should have had a digital detox for a few days." Darren took the device from Karen's hand gently, then stored it into the nightstand drawer.

"Oma and grandpa know not yet, if I get a tumor?" ask Karen suddenly.

Darren paused for a moment, then parsed a faint smile. "Yet.

"About .. what would Grandpa and Oma say if they knew?" karen thought worriedly. To be honest, he felt relieved that Oma and grandfather had not known the circumstances. On the other hand, he was also curious to know their reaction. Especially if you know the possibility of her uterus being removed.

"Don't think too much! It's not going to be as bad as you think" Darren said, putting their clothes in the closet and putting some food and fruit in the fridge.

"I told you, don't think too much" Darren said, pulling the blanket over Karen's chest, "sleep, huh? Tomorrow you will have a series of tests. I'm going to sleep too!"

Darren then placed a pillow at the end of the sofa and then lay down slowly. Just about to close his eyes, he was stunned when Karen forced him down from the bed, then walked while carrying an infusion pole.

"Where are you going?" ask Darren.

The woman sat on the sofa she was sleeping on, then lay down on her side with her back. "I want to sleep with you."

"You won't be comfortable sleeping here. This place is cramped."

"Sir papa. Just so you can sleep in your arms" Karen replied as she wrapped Darren's hand around her waist. He believes the embrace of loved ones is one of the most effective pain cures, because it contains a natural tranquilizer.

"Yes, that's it." Darren deliberately did not talk much so that his wife quickly fell asleep.

"Ren ..." call her slowly after five minutes later.

"Why? It hurt?" darren asked quickly as he raised his head trying to peek at his wife's face, then checked the infusion hose.

Karen shakes. "I didn't even feel sick despite being sentenced to be sick again."

"Continue?"

"I can do it, right?"

"Hum ...." The man agreed with a curse.

"Why do you still want to survive with me, even though the doctor has said as bad as I might experience?"

Karen turned around to face each other. The two pairs of eyes were now staring at each other, their breaths mingling with each other.

"Sorry, you should have enjoyed the first year of our wedding, but instead busy taking care of people sa—"

The sentence did not continue when Darren silenced his mouth with a warm kiss. Not long. The kiss just came off. However, his gaze was still firmly attached to his wife's bead.

"Thank you, yes, I want to be my wife. It must be difficult for you to live with a previous person you do not recognize," said Darren in a whispering voice while stroking his wife's cheek gently.

Her thumb pulled gently on Karen's chin, deliberately making her lips slightly open in order to tuck her warm lips there. The kiss was so deep, clingy and strong. Done to dampen all the anger, worries, and words scented self blame¹ that will be thrown by his wife.

In the room, the two slept on a sofa that was not too big, leaving the patient's bed empty until darkness was snatched away by the dawn.

Self-blame: the emotional torment that a person inflicts on himself. Simple language often blames itself.

If there is a digital detox anyone remembers, right? Never cave in the next novel.
