Ch 74 - [ POV Author] Handling

Two fire engines with siren roars docked right in front of Bank J****. A moment later, several dozen combatants descended. They formed a formation according to their respective tasks. Some lowered pipes, some surrounded the location and tried to get into the building.

As soon as he saw the damkar officers coming, Nadya immediately ran towards them. His face was covered with tears.

"Sir!! Please help my friend sir! He's inside sir! Help quickly Sir!" he said pleading while holding the officer's arm.

"Is there still someone inside?"

Hearing Nadya's words, the officer who seemed to be the team leader gave a warning to his men to enter the building. They move very fast. Disengage buildings and secure their passageways.

Nadya waited with a troubled heart. His mouth was incessantly chanting prayers. Begging for Armand to get out safely. No less than ten minutes, officers came out with two stretchers. Nadya's eyes widened to see Armand lying face down.

"Dad!!" He slid closer to Armand's palanquin. "Dad!! Build Bi! Bi!!" The ceiling ruins and iron rods tore through Armand's armor so that the tears of his wounds were visible. Armand's closed eyes made Nadya panic half to death. He ignored Arsha who was also unconscious.

Two ambulances were on standby in front of the office. The medics moved quickly. They immediately greeted the palanquin and moved the bodies of Armand and Arsha. As soon as the door was about to close, Nadya broke through the officers.

Arriving at the hospital, Arsha and Armand are immediately transferred to the action room. Different conditions of Armand and Arsha make the handling done on them was different.

The doctor runs a blood gas analysis to see the levels of carboxyhemoglobin in Arsha and Armand blood. When COHb levels in patients are higher than 3–4% of normal levels, it is certain that patients experience carbon monoxide poisoning.

In addition to blood gas analysis, doctors also perform examinations to assess the function of other organs, such as the heart, lungs, kidneys, and brain, also done. The examination will be adjusted to the level of carbon monoxide poisoning and the severity of hypoxia experienced by both.

The analysis showed they both had CO gas poisoning. For that, oxygen therapy is done in the form of oxygen delivery through an oxygen mask. This therapy works so that carboxyhemoglobin levels can fall and be in normal numbers.

After oxygen therapy, Arsha was transferred to the treatment room. While Armand needs follow-up action. Burns on the back and suspected fractures are the cause.

Nadya went back and forth in front of the Armand room. Thought garbled. He wanted to contact the extended family but was afraid that the family was too shocked when he heard this news. For that he decided to wait for new news after that contact the family.

"With the patient's guardian on behalf of Arsha Nayyara Usman?" A woman with an age range of about twenty and in nurse uniform walked over.

Nadya looked at the woman in confusion. What is this woman talking about?

"You're the patient's guardian on Arsha's behalf?"
