79 - The presence of a woman named Luisa

"Would he look for me?" ask Nev to Bian.

"He didn't say what he needed, sir. But it looks like he'll come back here to look for Mister" Bian said.

"Hi, Nev ..." Luisa was sitting on the sofa of the office living room with a smile on her lips.

Luisa chuckled small. "I want to congratulate you on your marriage, Nev .." she replied.

"Thanks" said Nev.

Nev sat down in front of Luisa, crossed his arms, and crossed his legs in front of the woman. "But I think it's too much, if you just want to say a piece of congratulations, but you get back and forth to my office." he concluded with a slanted smile.

Luisa laughed, a crisp sounding laugh like she was laughing at herself.

"Yes, I have always been overreacting to you, Nev.." replied Luisa.

Nev shook his head at Luisa's behavior. Then they were both silent for a while with their respective minds.

"You're too cruel to me, Nev." said Luisa breaking the silence.

"I told you-"

"You never gave me a chance, Nev!" cut Luisa fast.

Nev chose silence, if this was the case he could only let Luisa take out all the grunts in his heart.

"I've been expecting you from us as teenagers and you know it, Nev! Your marriage is quite disturbing to me."

"Don't discuss this, Lui .." said Nev standing up from his seat.

"Kan, you won't even listen to me anymore, Nev!" luisa.

"Already, Lui. Your feelings are far-fetched" said Nev walking towards the exit.

"Nev .." - Luisa.

"What else? I have to go home, my wife is waiting for my return, thank you for your congratulations, yes." said Nev smiling.

Luisa could only snort with her clenched hands, again and again she could never get more attention than Nev. Not even once before. Isn't she an attractive woman? Beauty, ingenuity and success were all within his grasp. But Nev never glanced at her one bit.

Luisa did keep her distance from Nev, she wanted Nev to realize that in her heart there was a taste for Luisa, but in reality Nev was actually married to another woman now.

Bian followed into the room and asked Luisa to leave this place immediately, because the office building would be closed soon.

"You know why Nev never glanced at me, Bian?" ambush Luisa to Bian.

Bian only smiled slightly and did not answer Luisa's question.

Bian could only make out a smile at Luisa's swearing at her superior.

"Please give your opinion on this, Bian!" luisa's not upset.

Indeed, Bian knew what made Luisa come again on Nev at this time. It wasn't Nev's marriage that caught the woman's attention, but it was Nev's current condition.

"Miss, my opinion is not much. It's just, I'm wondering why you came back to Mr. Nev when his condition has recovered" Bian said with a small smile.

Bian knows, Luisa never knew about Nev's marriage to Feli, she stayed away from Nev not because she knew Nev was married, but because Nev had been paralyzed ever since.

Luisa was flabbergasted to hear Secretary Nev's words. "What do you mean?" tanyanya nervous.

"You're coming back now, when Mr. Nev was paralyzed, you never came to see him even once" Bian said, leaving Luisa speechless to hear the man's review.

Luisa was speechless with her thoughts, supposedly when Nev was paralyzed he came to the man, maybe Nev's condition like that could open his heart to him, but he was too naive to do that first, how could he possibly turn himself in to a paralyzed man?

Maybe Bian had a point, Luisa came back to Nev when the man had recovered, something Luisa hadn't thought of before. Luisa doesn't think Nev will recover, if only she knew, maybe she would take Nev's heart, right?

"Damn! I should have come to him sooner! Why is it that when he recovers, he immediately marries another woman!" luisas growled while stomping his feet out of Nev's office building.

Jimmy comes to Nev's residence, asking for Nev's permission to take Nimas home, as Jimmy intends to marry Nimas in the near future.

"You seriously want to marry her?" nev asks Jimmy, now they sit and gather in Nev's living room. There's Jimmy, Nimas, Nev and Raya there.

Jimmy nodded confidently, then looked at Nimas who was smiling shyly next to him.

"Good, I thought you wanted to be a boy to the rat all the time!" nev said half ridiculing.

"Don't do that, Nev. appreciate Jimmy's goodwill," said Raya quickly.

"Yes, I just didn't expect the last port to fall on Nimas" whispered Nev to Raya. Actually Nev is worried about Nimas who will end up in Jimmy's hands, even though Jimmy is his best friend but Nev knows enough about the man's strangeness.

Nev looked back at the two people in front of him, as if he was in charge of Jimmy and Nimas right now.

"Nimas, are you sure about him?" Now that Nev looked at Nimas solemnly, the young girl was already worthy of a sister for him.

Nimas nodded his head confidently.

"Well, when are you going?" ask Nev.

"Maybe tomorrow morning" Jimmy replied seriously.

"Yes, I leave it all to you two because you're not kids anymore. And you, Jim. Don't play it!" nev said no kidding.

"Toying with what? Only with him am I the most serious," Jimmy chuckled softly.

"Good, Nimas I consider my family. I warned you from the beginning, so if you weren't serious about him you would be dealing with me." said Nev with a crisp laugh.

The four of them then discuss what is needed for Jimmy's equipment to visit the Nimas family later.

"What about your family, Jim?" tanya Raya's.

"Mama's coming home early next month, if Papa's gonna be here by H's day" Jimmy said.

"I mean, did they know about this?" tanya Raya again.

"Already, they support whatever my decision is. They're just glad I decided to get married," Jimmy said with a chuckle.

Nev nodded, saying Jimmy had a point because he did not think Jimmy would decide to marry, let alone the choice fell on Nimas, who was not, because Jimmy was traumatized by marriage because his parents separated since the age of Jimmy was a child. Although both of Jimmy's parents are still alive, Jimmy has long not remembered what it was like to live complete with both parents.
