50 - Do not continue feeling

Nev was still smiling looking at Raya. But the next utterance, enough to make Nev wonder.

"Well, you don't carry on that feeling." said Raya.

"Why? (Why?)" ask Nev lirih.

Raya shook her head, her face seemed to endure the pain.

"Because, I'm getting married, in two months" Raya said.

Meanwhile Nev, stunned to hear the reality. He smiled bitterly, he thought Raya was giving a silly joke that was not funny at all.

"I heard it wrong, right? You must be pranking me, right? Haha..." Nev laughed wryly with his pajamas face.

Raya shook her head for the umpteenth time, she couldn't say anything more, she looked the other way, trying to ignore Nev's face which had been blocked by the fog of desire.

"Raya, you're kidding me..." Nev laughed again as he bent down and placed both elbows on his lap, and the man grabbed his head with his palm.

"I'm not kidding," Raya said emphasizing her words. "Me and Reka are getting married" he continued.

"They?" Nev re-enforced his body to stare at Raya, while the woman did not dare to return Nev's tanned look that looked like she was interrogating him.

Nev shook his head loudly, "No, you must not marry him." he said as he held onto both of Raya's shoulders to keep them facing him.

The force could not hold his tears anymore, so the droplets began to fall on the surface of his cheeks. Nev was filled to see that, Raya's tears as if to say that Raya did not want her marriage to Reka to happen.

"You don't love him, Raya!" nev said loudly, trying to resuscitate Raya with his own feelings.

"I received his family's proposal yesterday, his official proposal will be next week" Raya said, sobbing.

Nev fell silent, just now everything felt wonderful as he was able to express his feelings to Raya. He did not force Raya to accept or return his love. For him, just knowing his feelings was more than enough.

Even if Raya doesn't love him yet, Nev will make an opportunity for Raya to have that feeling someday, Nev wants everything to come slowly and not rush. He will not force Raya.

But, hearing the new reality Raya conveyed, Nev felt his wish to get the love of Raya is a dream that is too high. Now Nev doesn't want the payback, all Nev wants is to see Raya happy.

Raya sobbed next to him, while Nev himself also felt this reality was so bitter.

"If you marry the one you love, maybe I'll let you go with that person, but Reka? I know you don't love her, Raya. How can I let this wedding happen?" ask her at Raya who has covered her face with her palm.

"Look at me, Raya..." Nev holds both of Raya's shoulders again. "Answer! should I let you marry him?" tanyanya held back emotions.

He looked at Nev with sadness. "I-I don't know." said Raya and Nev carrying Raya's body in his arms.

Raya is crying inside Nev's body. He sobbed in the field of the man, making him regret about the decision he had taken yesterday, he gave everyone the wrong answer. The answer is the opposite of his heart.

Raya never knew, the universe actually reunited him with Nev when the conditions were like this. He thought he'd never see Nev again. He thought he would open a new life page with Reka and would slowly forget about Nev.

Actually, now Raya is in the stage of mengikhlaskan Nev to be happy with Feli, but why is the reality now inversely proportional? Meanwhile, he couldn't possibly retract all of his words to his parents and Reka's parents, of course.

Raya can feel Nev stroking the top of her head with affection, making her drown the face even more in the man's embrace.

Raya wants time to stop here, no one to disturb this comfort, she wants to continue like this if she can.

Without realizing it, he had coiled both hands in the stomach of this man, looking for the most comfortable position while continuing to think about the circumstances that did not match his expectations.

Raya could even hear Nev's rapid-initiated heartbeat - probably the same as his, too, when now they were sitting quietly without saying any more words, but their heartbeats were as if they were twitching with each other, and it was beating rapidly - as if running from a distance.

Raya complains to Nev, and Nev, who realizes there is movement, ducked down to look at Raya. They seemed stunned by each other, with locked gazes and did not want to be distracted.

Nev stared at the face of Raya who had been wet with tears. While Raya also saw the state of Nev's face that looked sad but did not reduce the existence of his good looks.

Slowly they both dissolved in an increasingly distance-shrinking position, but the next split-second Kingdom turned the other way, throwing off a glance, as if avoiding Nev very clearly.

"I have to go home," cut Raya quickly, she got carried away and had to put an end to this before things got harder to forget later.

The kingdom inched away from Nev's body, wiping away his tears that had not dried up completely due to the wind.

Nev re-enforced the body. "I'll drive you, '" said Nev trying as calmly as possible.

"No, no" said Raya.

"Raya, let-be"

Again Raya cut off Nev's unfinished sentence. "I want to be alone" Raya said as she turned her body in the opposite direction.

Nev stood up from his seat, he was no longer a man who could only resign, then would let Raya leave just like that. Now he will prevent Raya, no matter how.

"Give me a good reason, then I'll derail the marriage in my own way" said Nev loudly who managed to make Raya stop his steps.

Raya fell silent, she again shed tears, but she did not turn her head at the slightest glance at Nev who was standing behind her.

"My feelings are also a compelling reason to derail that marriage, Raya. But it wouldn't mean anything if you didn't have the same taste as me,"

Raya did not budge. This was all too stifling his chest.

"So tell me how you feel, so I know what I have to do next" Nev said, waiting and waiting for the answer of Raya who stood not far from her position.

Closing his eyes, he was eager to tell Nev that he had the same feelings. But, he doesn't know what Nev would do if he was honest about it. She's afraid Nev's really gonna be reckless about foiling her wedding plans. Although actually it was his hope as well, but he did not have the heart to destroy the hopes of his parents.

Raya steps back, her mouth is muddy and her guts are shrill-not daring to convey her feelings to Nev. He chose to shut up and leave the place.

Nev shouted at Raya's name repeatedly, but the woman did not stop the slightest step.

At the end of the road, Nev sees Raya stopping the taxi and riding it in a hurry.

Nev could only kick the air, venting his anger with the reality that was happening.

Disappointed? Sure oes. What should Nev do now? He did not know, his mind was in a frenzy and currently could not think clearly.

Nev finally decided to go home instead of spending time on the side of the road like a madman who doesn't know the direction. He took a taxi and arrived at his home half an hour later.

Grandma welcomed her home, the old woman must have known what Nev had done to Raya at the cafe.

Grandma smiled looking at Nev who had been able to walk.

"Grandmother is so happy that you can walk again, Nev.." said Grandma.

But, Grandma's happy gaze did not last long, because suddenly her gaze turned into a confused look-for seeing the look on Nev's face that looked chaotic.

Grandma immediately connects Nev's depression with his meeting with Raya at the cafe earlier.

Did something happen to him and Raya?

Grandma thinks Nev must have expressed his feelings for Raya, but why does Nev's face look disheveled? Did Raya reject him?

"Nev, did Raya reject you?" ask Grandma carefully.

Nev smiled bitterly, "Raya did not even answer him, Nek.." said Nev indifferently.

"meaning? Why do you look so fucked up?" grandma asked, getting curious.

Nev shook his head weakly, "Raya is getting married, Grandma. Nev's late, Nev's late to see him." he said in the lowest voice.
