"What's up, Rav?" Rahelsa ventured to open the word first to Aarav after their engagement was completed.
"Hel, are you sure to marry me?"
Rahelsa nodded quickly, while Aarav smiled obliquely.
"You will regret this decision, Hel.." said Aarav coldly.
"Why do you think that, Rav?" rahelsa asked slowly.
"What can you expect from a man like me? I can't handle you anything." Aarav said cynically.
"I'm not expecting anything."
"Then? Why did you agree to this match?"
"Sorry Aarav, this is all because I care and love you."
Aarav laughed softly, feeling that Rahelsa's words were some kind of nonsense.
"Cancel our marriage while there's still time, I don't want any regrets later" he said, pushing his wheelchair slowly forward, leaving Rahelsa riveted because of the words Aarav had just uttered.
Rahelsa is convinced that Aarav has no more sense in him. Even if Aarav loved her, he only considered her a sister - like Abrine and Airish.
Two days after the engagement, Rahelsa began to undergo her activities as before, which was to help keep Aarav in the apartment. He ventured again because he felt Aarav was now part of his responsibilities - ever since they were officially engaged.
As soon as Rahelsa arrived in Aarav's kamaar, the boy immediately picked up the book that had been ignored since, Aarav tried to busied himself without glancing at Rahelsa in the slightest.
"Aarav, you have lunch yes, after that take the medicine," said Rahelsa softly. Apparently he came with Aarav's lunch tray.
Aarav did not answer the girl's words, he asked back.
"Have you not come home from the airport yet?"
"It seems not yet, I just met Abrine and Airish in front," replied Rahelsa. Raya did go to take Nev to the airport because Nev is going to Indonesia because his company is in need.
"Then, where are Airish and Abrine now?"
"They're gone, he says he wants to enroll at the University."
"Didn't you do the same?"
Rahelsa. "I signed up online."
"Don't want to look around the university area?"
"No need, I've been there before."
"What's because I want to take care of me?"
Rahelsa shook her head again with a small smile. "No, Aarav. Come on, now open your mouth... Aaaa..." Rahelsa tries to feed Aarav, but the guy won't open his mouth.
"Why?" rahelsa asked with a sad look.
"Have you thought about what I said the other day?"
"Regarding our marriage?" guess Rahelsa and Aarav nod.
"I've thought about it, I won't regret it." Rachel said confidently.
"Why are you so sure?"
Rahelsa stared at Aarav's chocolate netra. "Because I love you, Rav!" the answer.
"Come on, I'll force you until you want to!"
"Go," drive Aarav slowly.
"No! I'll wait for you and make sure you take your medicine!" rahelsa.
Aarav. "Bas stubborn!" his gerrick.
Rahelsa again spooned the rice and held it out to Aarav, inevitably the guy opened his mouth as well. Aarav eats in silence. Silent. No one opened their voices until Aarav finished his lunch.
"I want you to cancel our wedding!" aarav said suddenly, making the medicine box that Rahelsa wanted to reach fell for granted because he heard Aarav's very painful statement.
"Why?" Rahelsa felt increasingly cornered, she felt she was the one who was too passionate about their marriage while Aarav himself was not interested.
"I let you go" said Aarav Lirih, not daring to look at the blind Rahelsa who began to tear up.
"Whatchu mean? Did you break off our engagement? Why are you asking me to cancel our marriage? Are you that unwilling to accept me? Are you in love with someone else? If so, why don't you just cancel this in front of our parents!" Rahelsa spoke with pain in her heart.
Aarav shook his head, I don't know what the ring means.
"Tell our parents, I can't do it."
"Why? You're Aarav's coward!" Rahelsa got up from her seat in front of Aarav's wheelchair.
"Yes, I'm a coward. Whatever you want to think of me!" aarav.
"Since before we got engaged, I've been asking Aunty Raya for your readiness, but aunt says you agree. Then why did your attitude become like this after we were officially engaged? Are your regrets just coming up now, Rav?" rahelsa's mind felt like screaming knowing Aarav rejected her raw. It was not about self-esteem that felt trampled on, but because his affection was not well received Aarav, as if Aarav underestimated his sincere feelings.
"As long as you know Aarav, whatever you think of my feelings, I really sincerely love you!" rahelsa said, but Aarav still did not want to look at the crying girl.
"Sorry," said Aarav briefly.
"You want another girl who's your wife, huh?" rahelsa asked even if Aarav answered 'yes' then her feelings were getting sicker, but she wanted to hear it herself from Aarav's mouth.
"Go, Els...."
Rahelsa was wide-eyed, 'Els' was Aarav's affectionate call to her since she was a child, for a long time she had not heard Aarav call her that. He believes Aarav accidentally called him that name again now, if Aarav really wanted him to leave, Aarav should not have mispronounced him like this.
"I'll leave if you tell me honestly what you really want!" rahelsa.
"There's nothing I want other than our wedding annulment!" Aarav.
Rahelsa shook her head, after hearing Aarav call her by the name of 'Els' she became to have her own thoughts about what Aarav wanted. Nope. But about what Aarav hid from him. About the man's feelings.
"I'm not going to cancel our wedding! Whatever happens!" Rachels breathed a moment. "If that's what you want most, you'll tell both of our parents!" rahelsa was full of confidence.
