Chapter 81

Title: The Unexpected Meeting…

–Robin Pov–

Right now, we are underwater, and the view in front of me is incredible…

Is this why he didn't take the submarine alone, even though we have one on board? 

If that's all, I can understand why it's a thousand times better than a submarine. How long have I not seen an underwater view like this? It became my whole life... 

Suddenly I feel nostalgic. I don't even remember at what age I ate the devil fruit. If...maybe if I don't eat this, I won't be treated as a demon…? Maybe–No, what happens is to get better. Let's not think too much.

–Pov General–

With the changing scenery and poses that point down at Fish-Man Island, it is not so difficult to navigate through the sea as Amon feels the electric field underwater. Amon today is a human compass, in a sense.

Nothing as exciting as Luffy's journey takes place here, except for a few minor battles with the sea king. Against them, Amon simply pushed his hand, pierced through the layer of bubbles, outwards and touched the water.

The devil fruit still has an effect on the water, as shown by Aokiji that freezes the sea. They will not work against sea prism rocks which are condensates of ocean energy in solid form. 

Water is a good conductor of electricity, which Amon uses to fry some sea kings easily. Unfortunately, they could not eat it as it might be taboo if they ate fish on Fish-Man Island. While the ship was too small to eat one here and now.

After 5 hours they were submerged in the water, the group finally reached the bubble barrier of Fish-Man Island.

Amon stared at the barrier in front with an intense look in his eyes. Taking a thinking pose, he nodded. He then looked back at the group.

"Friends, be careful, this is the double layer around the bubble. There was a gap filled with aggressive water currents between them. If we try to enter in the usual way, our little bubble shell will be absorbed by the larger first bubble, and when we are about to go inside, we will not be able to pass through the second layer."

Amon explained many things to the group. He remembers what happened to the Straw Hat ship from the anime. Moreover, he had already researched the matter before. These days, Amon is always ready for any situation, after all, he has the power to do it now.

While the group nodded silently, Amon looked at Cricket, who then pointed at the monkey brothers who were coming along.

"Eh! Yeah, yeah." yeah." Realizing the meaning of Amon's gaze, they nodded quickly. "We've added all the required 'calls' before. It's okay."

"Hm" Amon nodded at them and closed his eyes. '[Thunder Eye]'

Not much to say, Amon crouched down and started searching through the bag on the floor. Not long after, he found what he wanted and grinned lightly.

With everyone holding something, Raki hugs Amon. He did not mind and preferred to hug her back with his wings.

Looking at the remote button in his hand, he took a few seconds and then pressed the red button. It sounded!

With a constant nitro burst, the ship instantly broke through the 1 Fishman barrier. It didn't take a single second to reach the 2nd barrier as well, which was also pierced by the ship!

With a fierce blow with the water current in the middle, the ship finally entered.The true Fish-Man Island!

The ship pierced through the bubble wall and entered the sky of Fish-Man Island. Yet….

Raki let go of the breath she had been holding ever since and opened her eyes. "We .. we are here! Fish-Man Island!"

Cutting it short, Amon hit his head as he coughed up the sea water. He said in a hoarse voice. "Shut up…"

With Raki complaining to Robin, Amon lets the electricity flow into his body. 

He was not afraid to die under the water all the way. He has a temporary way to survive even if ships and submarines are destroyed. He must be alive, moving underwater freely. 

The reason is ... is quite simple. 'Don't forget my head, this isn't a permanent effect.' Amon breathed. 'But I think this will be useful in this small mission.. against Fish-Man Island.'

Shaking his head lightly, Amon, who was wearing dark purple clothes from head to toe, hid everything below, looking at his companions.

"Friends, control yourself." Ammonites begin to heat the electric field in the air around them, thus making the surrounding heat. With a leader-type voice, he said. "I'll help with the temperature. Try to take a deep breath."

Seeing his friends, Robin, Cricket, and Monkey Bros on the deck floor, Amon then prepares a quick cure for them.

As they rested there, many Fishmen noticed the ship in their island pond. Some remained silent, while some let the Royal guards know.

7 days ago, the Queen left with a World Noble. They were worried, therefore, they remained silent even though something illegal like a yacht in a residential pool happened.

After all, after they hurt this group of humans, what if they hurt their Queen…?

Ammon was at the front post, a wooden pillar-like object from the ship, looking down at the Fish-Man island itself.

'...' He could feel their emotions to some extent, which he did not mind at all. 

Robin said in a gasping voice. "Luci, I'm fine now."

"Oh," Amon looked back. 'That was quick.' He thinks with a smile. He then started thinking about useless things. 'I told him my real name, but I guess he wanted to call me something that other people didn't call.'

Expelling that thought, nodding his head with a smile, he then looked towards Monkey Bros and Cricket.

"Let's split up here. Let's make 2 teams of 3, the three of you and the three of us." Amon points towards himself, Raki and Robin. "I don't think Monkey Bros will get in trouble. But Cricket be careful. Fish-men can be dangerous."

It's not a matter of strength. That's their appearance. Cricket understood.

With Amon's warning, they parted ways after docking the ship in the right place. The Fishfolks gave them a glance, but everyone ignored them. They are not the only humans on the island. 

Before the Royal guards could arrive after receiving the words from the citizens, Amon and his group moved quickly.

The group had come to the island quickly, so no one knew that a Warlord had arrived at this place. He noticed some other humans around him who seemed to be able to identify him, as he was a famous person. Amon doesn't mind being recognized, it's also part of his plan.

Coming to a corner of some building, Amon takes out his Tone Dial, in hopes of calling his spies here….

A loud voice came from. "HEY! Is that Boss... Lucifer?!"

Before he could turn the button, he heard .. a familiar voice. With a frown, he looked towards.

"Leader?! That leader is really you?! Haha!"

Crow hair and muscular body. It was the man who left the Amon union to fight against the world government alone over a year ago. 

"You recognize me?! It's me, Melo!"

That's... Melos!

"It's me, Melo! Haha!"

The raven-haired man laughed lightly as he waved his hand from afar. He is alone as Amon quickly begins to look around for something suspicious.Fortunately, fortunately for everyone on Fish-Man island, this is not an ambush or illusion created by the mutant Fish-Man.

'Certain Fish-Man is a mutant of the One Piece world. They possessed a power that made no sense for normal humans to possess. I would be lucky if I were born here. But oh well, I like my current situation.' Thinking like that, a smile formed on his face, Amon started walking forward. 

"Oh, Melo is that really you?! Wow, you look different than before!" Looking at the different scars around his body, Amon laughed lightly. "It seems you've been through a lot of hardships."

Melo walked forward and Amon clenched his hands. "Gee!" He grinned wide. "Difficulty? I've been through it, but it looks like Miss All Sunday and you are getting closer. You even have kids now, hahaha!"

With Raki and Amon staring at him flatly, the man remained silent. Soon after, he scratched his head. "Ahh, that's not funny? Haha."

Amon laughed at his bad joke while Robin gawked from behind. He remembered that day he was drunk and talked about the World Nobles with Amon and this man in front. 

Melo then made a thoughtful expression. "Oh, don't talk here. My wife works at Mer-Maid's cafe around here." He nudged Amon. "'Mer-Maid' Hehe... Do you understand?”.

Amon played with his humor and made a face similar to him. Though his mind was very different inside. 'Wife? Wasn't his wife caught by some World Nobles and ganged up....wait don't be disturbed...? After all, could he take it back?' Amon was thinking hard. 'I don't think it's the same woman, I must have heard. So the new woman?... Hah~ human. After all that drama.'

Laughing mockingly inwardly, Amon left with Melo humor which led them to the Mermaid Cafe.
