Chapter 191: The Next Phase (4)

Hina raised her ears, paying full attention to the words of the Marine Officer.
"It's a big deal. The Golden Lion of Shiki was one of the rival Pirate King. A person who was captured by the combined forces of Garp and Sengoku, and now the Celestial Emperor is thought to have killed him himself, even killing him in the process. We've underestimated the threat level, again." Brannew, the naval officer who decided on the prize, announced.
Everyone in the room, sitting in a row with Hina, understood what this meant. It was time to raise the prize again. This is the 3rd time that will happen in the last 2 years.
Hina could hear the muttering of the people around her, asking who the person who delivered this news was. Hina knew who did it because she was the one who received the victim. It was one of the people who used to work for Shiki, but was freed by Amon to lead a happy life. But instead, he comes to the marines to file a case on behalf of Amon, who is allegedly angry that his wife was murdered by him.
One of the marines sitting on the bench in front raised his hand. "But sir, his head is already worth 3.9 billion, increasing it will make his danger level surpass that of Red Hair."
Brannew snapped his finger. "You guys are experienced high-ranking officers, so you have a good idea about the true power of that monster that is the Red-Haired Shanks. Unlike many people believed, not Kaido or Whitebeard who was individually the strongest Emperor, it was Red-haired Shanks, instead."
While everyone was nodding, one of the beginners raised his hand. "But, Master...if he was that strong, why did he have the second lowest fugitive price among Emperors?"
Brannew nodded. “That's the point – is as strong as him, he's not too much of a threat to the Government because he's a pretty laid-back guy, and there's also the fact that he has the smallest crew among all the Emperors. It reduces the danger as well."
"But this man, Amon, did not lie down. He got what he wanted. In the past two years, he had expanded his territory in most of Paradise and even some parts of the New World. He ....his crew even surpassed the Golden Lion Shiki in his prime. Not only that, all of his "Sin" were strong enough to be Emperor-Commander level. And there are 6 of them."
Brannew took a deep breath. "He is currently the most threatening force in this world, right after Monkey D. Dragon."
Hina sharply nodded in agreement. Monkey D's. Dragon doesn't count because he is a mysterious man. There have been cases where the Marines have found their base of operations. But by the time they got there, not only was he not there, even the island he was supposed to be heading to was gone. How could they find a man who could supposedly teleport on a large scale?
Hina raised her hand and commented, "A few days ago, we also discovered her relationship with Big Mom. It also increases the level of danger. I agree that the prize needs to be increased."
Hearing Hina's words, everyone around started whispering. Hina was the newly promoted Vice Admiral, someone who had proven his worth by a large margin. His voice was very heavy, so the marines began to take his words seriously.
Surely, if the rumors were true, Big Mom would probably let one of her children marry one of Amon's men. That way, their relationship will grow and they will become an unstoppable force. This alone was enough to push his prize above the 4 billion mark.
After that, it was decided. Amon's gonna get his bounty boost.
Hina grinned in her heart. The mission was accomplished, as his Master had requested.

He sometimes wonders if it would be better if Raki had the power of Kaido cloud creation than his Light Manipulation. But since he didn't, he had to do all the work.
It has been 2 days since Amon began moving the island of Merville towards Skypiea. The people who wanted to leave were already gone, and the people who wanted to stay were here.
Meanwhile, after a long day of hard work, Amon finally reached his destination. The Kingdom of the Sky, Skypiea. The country that has the Golden City as its capital.
Amon had dropped the islands in the white-white sea, and now they were floating there peacefully. The first thing he did after that, was to gather all his new soldiers in one place.
He looked at the crowd gathered below him as he floated several meters in the sky. "Everyone, sorry to call you again. This may not be important to some, but many people are waiting for this announcement." Amon looked at those people. While most looked normal, some had feathers on their arms, they were locals of Merveille. “I know that some of you are not from the blue sea, but rather from a small village not far from here. I'm also aware that you're eager to see your family. If you are worried about them, don't worry. I will ensure their safety. You can meet them, and spend time with them. I'll make sure no animals attack your family, so rest assured."
He continued. “In addition, I should also appoint the leader of your group, which will take a few days, so you guys can rest for now. Soon, winged people will come here, don't be afraid of them. They will help build some things. I'm planning to build a better residence, lots of supermarkets, some research labs, some schools and hospitals for the village community and yourself. I'm hoping you enjoy your time working for me, and if you have any questions, then meet me anytime." He saw the impatient and grateful expressions of the people below. He bowed, "That's it, now you can go and meet your family."
The sky was clear as usual, but for the first time after so many years, the people below felt peaceful, safe. And he could feel every emotion.

Aisa finished training with Shyarly for today. His teacher had returned to his room, and he felt numbness in his head. Using Haki Observation to try and predict the distant future is difficult, very difficult. And until now, he had made no progress at all.
Aisa's brows twitched as she felt the crowd enter her Observation range. His range was not something extraordinary, it was his weak point even, but he was still able to recognize the prominent presence among the crowd. It was the presence of her brother.
There's no way he doesn't recognize the 'voice' that yells "I'm the only one" all the time. Aisa tilted her head. 'Did he bring the fruit he wanted to feed me?'
Actually, Aisa. Why would he want her to be Sin? Aisa isn't stupid enough to believe that Amon doesn't know about her little crime with Raki, it doesn't make sense if she doesn't realize it. Of course, this question doesn't just come up, because what confuses him is the fact that Amon has never treated him differently – he still treats him as a loving brother.
Was he wrong about her? Was the anger, sadness, coldness, that he felt deep within him just his imagination? From the warmth she felt every time she was around him, maybe that was the case.
'...I don't even understand anything anymore.' Asia took a breath. He sat down from the table and prepared to go to his room. He was already on top of Giant Jack, so his room was not too far away – because Amon always kept him safe.

It was at that moment, when a blue light flashed before his eyes and the figure of his elder brother appeared in front of him.
"Yes, guess who's back." With a brilliant smile on her face, Amon grabbed her cheek and caressed her aggressively, causing her to laugh.
