Tears flowed involuntarily from Yamato's cheeks but he did not bother to wipe them.

He just leaned closer to Amon, his head leaning on his shoulder. 

He had wanted to kill the man for many years, even decades. However, now that he was dead, brutally murdered right before his eyes, he could not help but look back on the few sweet memories they shared in the past.  

After all, he was still his father.

So, how long had he been staring at such a scene?

For a few seconds that felt like hours, Yamato simply stared.

The world of slow motion ended when Ammon's hand wrapped around his arm.

Yamato glanced at his indecipherable red eyes before turning his gaze away.

She was grateful she did not look happy or happy for Kaido's death, or at least she was attentive enough to hide it from him at this time.

Sin stood behind him with Wyper who had just woken up a moment ago leaning on Urouge.

Then Amon's voice reached his ears. 

"It may sound like a mockery of the man who started the execution, but..." Amon squeezed his arm gently. "I'm also defending condolences."

Yamato just nodded.

After another brief silence, Amon turned to Hancock.

"Boa, please take him away from here."

Hancock nodded at his words, her face as neutral as possible, and then slowly guided Yamato away.

Only when he left and Amon made sure he wasn't trying to reach his peak with his Observation Haki did he shrug.

He turned to the remaining sins. "You must go and finish off the remaining Beast Pirates that avoided the explosion of the Conqueror's Haki, or somehow managed to regain their consciousness."

Each of them nodded, but before they could leave, Amon opened a small «Healing Room» big enough to cover the five of them. 

Urouge and Yona clenched her palms as if praying before this miracle, while Tsumi dusted the dust off her dress before doing the same.

Wyper is the one who appears to be affected by the room when his cuts, bruises, and bleeding stop, and then begins to recover. In a split second, he almost returned to his peak state.

"Oh ..." Wyper flashes. "Huh, pretty good ability. How many fruits do you have now?"

Amon winked. "That's a secret."

Wyper looked at him for a moment before turning around. "Well, whatever. Don't blink your eyes like that."

Later, with Yona, Tsumi and Urouge, Sin also left. Leaving Amon alone with the dead Kaido and the unconscious Raki.

When they were at a safe distance, Amon approached Kaido's corpse, ignored Raki's nearby limp body, and then squatted near Kaido's severed head. 

Kaido had an expression of fear when he saw his death approaching, and now that he had died, that expression was plastered on his face.

'Pretty good to be a trophy.'

Amon thought and nodded in satisfaction. But that's not why he's squatting.

First, he took the fruit out of his pocket and placed it on the ground. It is difficult to know what fruit Kaido has, to be exact. Zoan myths are rare. However, Amon had actually known about it almost a year ago because he had long since been searching for a powerful demon fruit.

The fruit he placed began to stir, turn, and then turn into a completely different and new one.

Then, the round, slightly oblong fruit, somewhat resembling a pine seed, began to get a blue-colored exterior that looked like scales. On top of it, two stem-like leaves that were identical and separated from the fruit began to turn orange.

Immediately, a few minutes passed, the Fish-Fish Fruit, the Azure Dragon Model rested on the ground.

Demon fruits reincarnate faster than the speed of the human soul. So, Amon knew Kaido's spirit was still left on his corpse.

So, rather than taking out his Devil Fruit Mastery first, he decided to do something else, something better.

Slowly, Amon pulled his hand closer to Kaido's severed head and then gripped his skull with his five fingers.

Before that, he looked at the future for a while, nodded at the result and continued his work.

Amon, as he devours Kaido's pure soul inside, begins to see some of Kaido's memories. 

Amon wonders when she first reincarnated — how exactly she carried her memories even though she had no brain. But this incident proves that the soul carries the user's deepest memories in it, no matter who the person is. While Amon somehow carries all of his human memories, which is still a mystery as to why, Kaido only has a few fragments of his life in his soul.

One of his memories is the fight between the Rocks against Garp and Roger.

Amon could not help but be impressed on the three of them.

Especially Stone…

Immediately, a few minutes passed as Raki started to rise from the ground as well. He groaned and looked around before his eyes locked on Amon who was sitting still except for his changed facial expression.

With a loud gasp, before Raki could say anything, Amon fell back.

"Well, that's heavy." Amon gasped for breath as he turned to Raki. "Oh, hey. You're up."

"Eh... Are you okay?" Raki rubbed her head while watching her sweaty face. "You don't look so good."

"I'm doing fine. Don'worry. It's like lifting heavy weights, that's all."

Then he looked up at the sky. "Ah, how fascinating is this world we live in. Don't you?"

"Huh?"

Raki was confused and was about to start a barrage of questions before her eyes were fixed on the devil fruit lying on the ground and widened. 

"Oh, oh, it's there!!"

As Raki ran to the fruit, Amon instead clenched his fists. Black lightning, stronger than he could muster until now, crackled in his knuckles.

'I think it worked… '

He had just devoured Haki Kaido from his soul. That's why he even devoured souls, to begin with. The amount eaten was not as strong as the original, as Amon had to purify his dreams and desires then replace the empty skin with his own dreams and desires, but it was still a big boost .

After all, Amon needed not only fruits but also Haki.

He smiled at Raki. "I think it's a cheer and a celebration for both of us."

Now he just has to make her eat the fruit…

"It's not as good!"

Raki complains to Amon's face as he looks into his red eyes with his new golden eyes.

"My eyes look golden, but there's no special ability. There is no Eye of Wisdom and the superpower of my light manipulation is trash compared to the one I had before."

Amon's cheeks twitched. He should be happy with what he has.

He took a deep breath and refrained from slapping him for two miles across the Wano sea, before saying, "Look on the bright side, you can control the elements. Isn't that nice?"

Raki could not control the elements directly before. He could manipulate the weather to summon tornadoes and thunderstorms, but nothing was straightforward. But now he can.

"And?" He scoffed. “From before, I can control the water with Fishman Karate, and wind with Wind Style. Both have just been upgraded with the new Wind Control. I can also control fire now, but except for Heat Breath, it is nothing compared to Wyper!! What a good thing this is!!”

Amon held on to the last rope of patience as he pushed for the last time. "That's not the only element, you know. "Oh well." Raki clenched her hands as she tried to imitate the feeling she had just felt. 

Then.. black lightning broke out around his fist.

"..."

A brief silence stretched around the room as the two stared at his fists. 

Amon rubbed his nose. "By the way, that's not what I'm talking about."

Raki's breathing choked up, realizing that he didn't even have Enma at his waist, as he shouted in ecstasy.
