Chapter 201: Ancient Weapons (5)

It's been 13 days since I started working here. I was almost done fixing everything to an acceptable level and Vivi had joined me 3 days ago, so things got easy with her sand army helping me. 

Vivi can make a strong sand warrior, but one lightning strike turns her into “Glass” Warrior, good right? Things are becoming fun now that Vivi is here because I can take occasional breaks while being able to take my mind off.

Also, today is an interesting day as I will test Vivi's 'compatibility' with that damn machine. Although the engine was not completely repaired, it was good enough for trials.

There's a cockpit in this thing, but there's no controller there. At first, I thought, "Wait, is this broken?" Even the Beer Print disappointed me, but a glimpse of the Poneglyphs by Robin-chan revealed that there was actually no need for a controller for this machine as every member of the Nefertiti family could be used as a 'controller'. I finally understood why the Government targeted my poor Wife in the canon timeline. 

"Are you ready?" I put my hand on Vivi's shoulder. We were inside the 'cockpit' (if you could say so) while Vivi stood beside me with a little nervousness. "Don't be nervous, I'm here."

“But... What if this thing dries up my Haki? It's 3 kilometers long. Can I stop in the middle of the road?” Vivi asked, a little scared. 

The machine operates by channeling Haki the 'driver' throughout his body. I can see why he's scared.

“No, not possible. It does not actually use your Haki to operate, it converts the electromagnetic field in the air into energy and then operates. Haki is only required to 'turn on the engine', and also guide its movements. Theoretically, it should not use Haki that much.

"G ..." Vivi gave him a gentle look. "It's fine then."

Amon knew Logia's greatest weaknesses were Haki and Water, but for Sand-Sand fruit, the latter was more extreme. So in order to defend against them, the user also needed a stronger Haki. So Amon had taught Haki to Vivi personally, even though he could not use Advanced Armament yet. He has a strong haki for a 16-year-old.

“Alright, start.” 

Hearing Amon he pat her on the shoulder, Vivi took a deep breath and touched the only thing inside the cockpit, the monitor, and channeled her Haki inside.

For the first time in 800 years, the Ancient Weapon, Pluton, trembled as energy flowed throughout his body. 

“Ah, what happened!?”

But it's not the only thing that moves. The cockpit wall also moved, they started to grasp Vivi and Amon almost suddenly. Amon frowned as he immediately entered Lightning Speed.

'What's this? The blueprint did not say something like this.' He observed the world that was about to freeze and Vivi's terrified expression. 'Is the wall trying to destroy us.. or-wait, why am I guessing?'

Amon looked away and shook his head. "I can only see the future." He muttered while his eyes flickered bright red for a moment as a vision that would occur a few seconds later appeared in his mind.

He stopped looking at the future and raised an eyebrow. "Interesting…"

The walls won't destroy Vivi, they'll fuse with her. Similar to the Titan transformations of Attack on titan except for all the blood and muscle makes it less terrible. The machine here would only wrap around his body, only slightly tightly and connected with his brain, thus giving him control over the Mechanical Earthworm, known as Pluton.

“At least nothing bad.” Amon decided not to intervene in the 'combination' process and teleported outside the Cockpit. He canceled his Lightning Speed and watched Vivi's muffled scream enter his ears. A few minutes passed, while Amon waited for Vivi to start talking. But instead, Worm's head twitched as it moved upwards, seemingly looking down at Amon.

"Oy Vivi, are you alive?"

"Yes~, Alice-chan!"

"You don't like it at all, huh." Nami's voice caused the wrinkles on her forehead to subside as she glanced at him. 

"I don't like bad boys." Honey Queen commented as she returned to eating her food. Meanwhile, the blonde girl finished her meal with a smile on her face.

"You're lucky to have such a good cook, you bastard Pirate. Or I'll ask my father to blow you all up at sea! Ehaha!" The blonde girl chuckled. "He's very strong! Even your Captain won't be able to fight it!"

Luffy heard this laughing as well. "I want to see him try! Actually, I'm gonna kick his ass for leaving his daughter at sea!"

The Honey Queen was upset. He had just finished his meal and went to the other side of the ship and put his hands on the fence. 

He slipped his hand into his jacket and took out a pack of cigarettes, but after opening it, he was disappointed that it was empty. He flicked the package at sea with an even more annoyed expression on his face as another pair of hands fell on the fence of the ship.

"Does anyone bother you, honey-chan?" Sanji asked as he looked at her with a worried look on his face.

'Oh, how good is he .. ugh.' Honey Queen internally rolled her eyes but managed to make a fake smile and tucked her hands into her jacket, sending Sanji off guard as a red hue appeared on her face.

"Wait a minute, I'm not ready for— yet"

Honey Queen took out a pack of cigarettes from Sanji's coat and looked at him with a relaxed smile. "Ready? What are you talking about?"

Sanji froze in place as the Honey Queen lit her cigarette with a lighter. "Hm, this isn't my real type, but I guess I should settle for it until I get the usual one." Honey Queen commented as Sanji regained his face color.

"You know, a woman can't smoke." 

Honey Queen grinned with a cigarette between her teeth. "Oh, sorry. But I did what I wanted." He answers. 

He wanted to continue with something like, 'Even if that wasn't the case, I wouldn't listen to the words of a beta male.' But he managed to hold back, though barely.

Sanji then asked again, "If there's anything, you can talk to me." 

Honey Queen sighed while looking at Sanji's eyes. Sanji is a gentleman. Not type. And unfortunately for the man, even if he was his type, his heart was already taken away. Amon called it the 'Beauty and the Beast' effect or something. The Honey Queen doesn't care.

“Sanji..” Honey Queen just smile. "I just need some alone time, I'm fine. Thank you for worrying about me. Now can you leave me alone for a moment?" 

Sanji nodded after a little hesitation and walked away. The Honey Queen then locked her eyes with an endless horizon.

What pissed him off was the girl named Alice, but she wasn't the only cause. That's Amon too! The girl Alice continues to be proud of for being the daughter of the Admiral of the Naval Fleet. Honey Queen wouldn't have believed it if it wasn't for the necklace around her neck. It had a photo of Sengoku with it. 

The Honey Queen really barely held back the cries. ADMIRAL FLEET'S DAUGHTER IS FUCKING ON THE SAME SHIP AS HIM! ANYTHING!?

Honey Queen felt the Admiral would come at any time and grab the back of her head and smash her into the mountain. And his lifeline, Amon, hasn't responded to his message for weeks! What's he doing!? This was an opportunity to kidnap the Fleet Admiral's daughter, but he was nowhere to be seen?! What's wrong with that bastard?!

The Honey Queen felt a cold sweat gather on her forehead as she slowly took a deep breath. That's when his SmartDial (variant of Smartphone) rang. Amon's familiar face almost made him curse loudly when he finally felt his forehead warm up. 

Kacha!

["Yo. It's been a long time."]

The Honey Queen groaned as she looked around to see if anyone heard her or not. "May I punch you in the face next time we meet?"

["No, unless you want me to bang your head into the mountain."]
