One Piece: Reborn and Skypiean
Holy mother of veath?!

Chapter 22

[A/N: Quite satisfied with what came out... Maybe I even grew some brain cells. Do not hesitate to criticize ]

….

As the fight escalated, before long there was only Gan Fall and Amon left on top of the Giant Jack, outside of the God Temple. While the Shandians have lured the enemy militia into the 'formation' Amon has informed them.

Right now, Gan Fall, with his hands behind, was waiting for the child in front of him to make a move. However, Ammon did not attack, instead just looked at him.

How long does time go by like that? Finally, Amon opened his mouth. "God Gandalf, from what I heard from the riders and chieftains themselves, you are a pretty good man, enough to sometimes let a lot of robbers live. So I'll give you one chance, take it and back off." Said Amon while looking at Gan Fall. "This is our land, go and we will have no grudges left," said Amon, his tone forgiving.

Gan Fall was quite confused. 'Is this the same kid who called me a coward 10 minutes ago?' He thinks.

In fact, Amon only said something like this, as this was the best course of action for now. According to his calculations, he will be in action in 39 minutes 56 seconds.

To be honest, he had planned this long ago, considering whether he should kill Gan Fall or not. But eventually, he reached a conclusion, killing Gan Fall, at this moment, would be too much trouble for him.

Seeing Gan Fall, Amon's mind began to wander. 'Gan Fall is indeed strong, but that's no reason for me to keep him alive' Amon thought. 'Instead, it was his connection to the Skypieans on Angel Island.

If I can use it properly, then ruling over the inhabitants of Angel Island would be easier, but if I did it otherwise, controlling them would be almost impossible... Mostly because I don't have the strength that Enel is from now on. However.' Amon stopped his thoughts when he saw Gan Fall open his mouth.

"Young Soldier, I will gladly settle this matter peacefully, if you do not attack us today." Gan Fall said as he took his spear. "However, now that you've done it, I can't leave my people."

Amon smiled at it. 'However, his pacifist nature is a huge barrier to me and my plans.' Amon thought. 'But... For now, I will use it as long as possible, and if he gets any smart ideas, I can kill him.' Amon thought and took a long breath.

"Well" Amon opened his mouth. "The reason for today's attack is quite simple. We want peace." Gan Fall frowned. “Don't look at me like that. I'm sure, you realize, 10 years ago, a Calgara descendant named Warrior Kobra had tried to end this peacefully, right? " Hearing it, Gan Fall's eyes widened, as his spear-wielding hand shook.

continued Amon. "Yes, he not only tried, he tried it in the most peaceful way." Amon then fell silent. "However, he failed and died at the hands of your militia."

Gan Fall opened his mouth, with trembling eyes. "W-how do you know about Kobr-"

"Stop." Looking at Gan Fall's trembling eyes, Amon cut off his words. "That's not the point." She said. "The bottom line is, we want peace, but as wise people, you have to understand, a little bloodshed is given after 400 years of our suffering." He said while Gan Fall was in shock.

"...Sighs." Gan Fall sighed. 'I'm getting older like him. After all, it was quite normal for him to know these things as the leader of Shandian.' He thinks.

He looked into Amon's eyes. "So, what do you mean?" She asked. "Unfortunately, the Cobra failed, but do you think you will achieve it by attacking us today?" Gan Fall asked with a reasonable face.

Though he knew that Ammon's logic of 'bloodshed for peace' was not entirely out of life, after 400 years of Shandian suffering. However, today, since there would definitely be more casualties from this war, why would they accept it? Gan Fall asked himself that question.

"Well, take that as a gamble." Amon, as if reading his thoughts, answered. "We Shandians aren't stupid, we know there will be casualties this time as well, but we still want this to end." She said. "So here we are, gambling with our lives at stake."

Gan Fall did not particularly like how he said 'gambling' but he had to agree. In a sense, the words of Amon make sense, because if the way of the Kobra fails, then perhaps the path will succeed... However, he still had one question. "Young man, I'm quite impressed with your wisdom ... But what do you say about the current war situation? From what I see, your soldiers should loosely see that they were pushed back by my 50 Special Militias.before." Gan Fall asked. "As you said, the Kobra failed. Do you know the reason behind that? The reason is not me, God. Except them, militia."

His face then turned guilty. "I also want this war to stop, but when it comes to something that has been passed down from the Gods before, my orders to the militia will not succeed. That's the real reason I can't stop the Cobra's death." She said. "Young man, sorry to say this, but most of your Shandian troops are probably dead by now .. I will try my best to save the remaining ones, so come with me." Gan Fall said as he prepared to forget his bird, with his guilty face.

'Just like last time, the Shandians failed to achieve peace again'

"Wait." Amon's quiet call cut through his mind. "There's no need for you to move, the war is over."

Gan Fall made a puzzled face, however, before he could ask anything, Amon moved. He stuffed his hand into his bag, as Gan Fall became wary. However, it was not something to worry about, as he had just taken out the binoculars.

"This," Amon threw it at Gan Fall, as he caught it. "Now, using that, look at that place." Amon said as he pointed his finger towards the 'formation'.

Gan Fall did not question anything, as he felt that it would be quicker to examine it himself. So, he got down from his spring and lifted the binoculars into his eyes.

"!!!"

However, as he looked in that direction, his expression froze as his eyes began to tremble. "B-Holy Mother of Earth!?"

«…*…»

[A few minutes ago]

Amon sent him here, making him quite important to plan A of this war, though if he refueled there would still be BS plans left. His reason for being here was mostly because, over the past year, he had proven his strength enough to make Amon trust him with these things.

Right now, he was looking down at where 60 Shandians stood, surrounded by over 300 Militias. It seems that even though Shandian defeated quite a number of them, the militia still had the advantage. Or so the militia thought.

Raki gulped while sweat droplets formed on his forehead. He was worried about the people below, but he believed in Amon's words. If he had a plan to take them down at once in this place, then he would. Or so Raki believed. But the reason for the worry was about Amon himself as he had just seen about 10 more Shandians being chased by the Gods militia here.

It means that Amon is alone with Gan Fall. 'Please... Safely.' He prayed and concentrated on his own situation.

Immediately, except for him, all 69 Shandians were surrounded as the Gods militia laughed. "AHAHA! It's as if you came here just to die!" One of the militias shouted. "This new leader of yours is pretty stupid, isn't he?!" Raki frowned hearing that, then slipped her hand into her pocket.

While they were mocking Shandian, he took out Sunglass, [Tone Dial: Telephone] and finally, 2 [Remote-Controller-Dial], the remote connected to half of all the dials creating this circular 'formation .

The first thing he did was connect to Wyper's [Tone Dial: Telephone], who was sitting in the middle of the Shandian crowd, outside of public view.

The button shook, but Wyper did not receive the call, instead, he simply nodded his head, already understanding the message. Soon he secretly warned the news to those close to him, and they did so to those close to them. Like that, all the shandians understood the situation, as they slowly closed their eyes

Before the militia could understand anything, Raki, wearing sunglasses and looking at the dial in her left hand, put her finger on the button...

*BEEP!*

*DIP******DID*

In a circular motion, the 500 [Flash Dials] around the place were activated while it affected everyone, leaving only Shandian who closed his eyes, and Raki who was wearing sunglasses.

"ARRGH! MY EYES!"

"I CAN'T SEE!"

However, that is not the end, because the next time Raki sees the remote dial in his right hand, also presses the red button *BEEP*

*WOOOSH!*

This time, just as he clicked the red button, like a fire, a strange pink gas surrounded the place.

"Huh?! What-Ugh.. I can't m-move."

"ARGH?! I-i'm too!"

One by one, the God militia began to kneel. Proving that gas is some kind of crippling gas.

It was not very thick, but it spread very quickly, and as the Militia inhaled the gas, they knelt with their eyes turning backwards and foam coming out of their mouths. They cannot move at all, because this is not just any gas paralysis, but rather [Gas Dial: Preserved Gas of Paralysis].

It is a special variant. This is a type of gas that only affects people who have inhaled it for a long time. After Amon had placed Dial's trap here, the God militia that replaced their patrol officers every day had inhaled very little of it every day.

So here, after a year they are completely powerless against this nerve-deadening gas. It was also the reason why no Shandian was affected because they had never inhaled it before.

Immediately, without retaliation, they were subdued by Shandian. Or rather, they were tied with rope tightly.

Raki came down from the tree and met the others. "Successful operation!"

….

Gan Fall's eyes widened as he gulped. His hands trembled, while sweat poured out. His mind grew numb, 'What will the shandians who have suffered for 400 years do to their enemies?!'
