Chapter 53
Title: What a shit guy...
….
–Pov General–
Wyper runs behind Raki as he runs towards where he feels the boat is coming. They did not take the usual Milky Road, because the chieftain was too excited. The warehouses took them to the edge of the upper courtyard.
Soon they reached the place and met the three of them.
….
'I can't believe it.' Raki's eyes were wide-eyed when he saw the black-haired teenager who jumped in the upper yard from the boat. 'Is that him?... Big brother looks so cool!'
Amon looks almost the same as before, but his muscles bulge a bit making him look like a 17-year-old teenager. His feet moved automatically and he rushed towards him.
"SISTER MAN!" He jumped towards Amon, as he caught her with a smile.
"Haha, it's been a while, Raki." Amon smiled at her as she hugged her tightly. He would react much more profusely if they did not exchange words every day.
While the two were being friendly, beside them Wyper opened his eyes wide and gaped. One thought was still in his head as he looked at Cricket, 'Castagne hair'.
"M-Mont Zero?!" He asked Cricket as Amon stared at him with flat eyes from the sidelines.
"Uh huh?!" Cricket looked at Amon while sticking his finger at Wyper. "Oh, Luci is he the one you're talking about?... Wyper?"
Amon nodded while chuckling. "Yes." Yeah."
"Oh…"
Hearing him, Cricket looked at Wyper as he did the same. Cricket did not react as much as when he met Amon, as he is now aware of the situation, although he is still getting emotional. However, Wyper is a different case. Like a typical One Piece outfit, snot mixed with tears fell to the ground from Wyper's face.
"Sniff... W-Wyper Warrior!"
It didn't take long for all the dramatic scenes to end, as eventually both Wyper and Cricket started introducing themselves.
«…*…»
It was midday and a big party was going on in the upper courtyard. After learning about Ammon's sudden arrival with the descendants of Noland, everyone became excited.
"HAHAHAHA! It's fun!" Cricket burst into laughter as he had a giant bowl of food in front of him.
Rice, meat, fish, crabs, fruits, sweets, spices, and everything imaginable, were on Cricket plates.
"Eat, eat as much as you like Mont Noland!" Wyper said as he brought more food for Cricket.
"Err–Wyper, I'm not Noland," Cricket said as he scratched his head. "I'm Cricket Mont Blanc!" He said as he pointed his finger towards himself.
"Ha ha!" Amon laughed from the sidelines as he looked at her. "Haaah, let him be Cricket. He's a bit stupid, so it'll take a long time."
As Wyper acted angrily, Amon ignored him while Cricket laughed looking at the two.
Ammon was sitting there with Isa, Aisa, and Raki. Aisa hid behind Isa, for she was a little afraid of Amon. He knew the two of them knew each other, but his 5-year-old brain could not remember much.
He felt that the man in front was strong, but that was not what scared him, nor was it the fact that he could not recognize him completely. The scary part was, even though he was smiling on the outside, he couldn't even guess what he was feeling on the inside, even with his Observation Haki, which was made to feel emotions.
But it is clear that someone like Amon who relies on emotional sensing has taken precautions to keep the same from happening to him. A person's mantra cannot suppress one's emotions to be felt. So it was not because Aisa failed to feel it because of the difference in levels, but Amon himself who used his technique.
Aisa gulped as she looked at the 'text' above her head.
'I was scared.' he thought as he looked at Amon. For someone like him who could hear everyone's 'voice' from a young age, this was a strange and frightening moment for him. He was too young to notice it with Amon before...
His ability to feel our emotions is a little different than usual... It works quite uniquely compared to the regular user of Haki Observation, especially since Haki Observation varies from user to user.
'Why just him?... It's okay with that muscular guy.' Aisa thought while looking at the laughing Cricket. He could 'see' the words that formed above his head, that was his mind. Although he could not see the complex, rather, what he was feeling.
%""Good. Goody. Love's. Like. I love. These. The place.""%
These words were what was 'written' on top of his head as well as what Aisa saw. This is the same case for everyone as well. After birth, he could not see them right away, because at first he could only hear them. But now, as time went on his spell developed itself according to his own preferences. Though, in fact, the real reason is mostly due to the influence of other Haki users around him.
He hates that, 'Bad! The war! Fight!' the words in his head were stuck all the time before. So, his spell evolved into something where he did not need to hear it and rather could turn away from his words.
Amon was a special case after his resurrection. It wasn't that he couldn't see the words, it was just that his words didn't make sense.
%""I'm the one…..Hmmm. hzzzz; haha! Jmjmjmj! The mujahhuja! Hummm–Uh!""%%
This ... is what he can 'see' over Amon's head. No, not because Amon had some kind of special cheat-type ability from birth, but rather, he did so willingly, alone. He didn't want his mind to be read by anyone, so he took a little precaution. Simply put, Ammon's Brain works on two routes.
It was not something that was impossible to do, because with training even normal people could do it. Although at first it was a bit annoying with the nonsense words in his mind, Amon was fine with it for now. Actually, he has been doing this for over 10 years now.
…..
"Hey, Aisa don't be afraid." Suddenly, to Aisa's surprise, Amon placed his hand on her head. He gasped slightly, yet his eyes grew the next moment. "Sister won't hurt you ..."
To Aisa, suddenly those words could be read now.
%""As…. A.. Funny. Sister. I have it here."%,though
His fear slowly disappeared, though he would never learn about the truth ...
«…*…»
It was night time and Amon was sitting with Cricket in the corner. The party is still going on, but Amon and Cricket already have enough food. Although they still encouraged Cricket and Amon to eat as much as they could, they ended up getting out of the place.
"Ahaha, it's nice to stay here, yeah." Cricket as Amon also chuckled.
"...Somewhat, but it's not always this fun" Amon said as Cricket looked at him. "We used to live, or if we could be honest, we used to hide in a corner of this island. Until 4 years ago, we started living here again."
This attracted Cricket's curiosity, as he raised an eyebrow. "really? I thought you guys had been living here for 400 years... What happened?"
Hearing him, Amon chuckled. "Alright, let me explain a little ..."
….
"So, after that, I became a God while the previous person started living as a Sky Knight..."
"Damn, real?! You are God?..." Cricket jumped up and looked at Amon with strange eyes.
"Hey, hey calm down. I've explained it like the mayor's position." Amon said even though Cricket was not calm…
Minutes passed as he finally calmed down.
"By the way, I'm surprised you let the people of the Gods army live." Cricket again sat on the ground as he said.
"Well, what can I say. They're not bad people" Amon said. "Look around you, even now they're still working under us. Normally, people would get angry after their comrades were killed and attacked us, which they didn't do." Amon said as he pointed at the people around, as Cricket nodded his head.
They talked about many things, as time passed and the sun slowly set in the distant sky.
"Fuuu..." Amon took a long breath. "Hey... Crickets. This may be sudden, but what do you think about joining the Militia?"
When he said this Cricket was silent. He had only come here to meet Shandian, he had never intended to join.
Amon decided to continue. "I know about your romance with adventure and other things, so I'm not saying you should lock yourself in here. Merely, you bear the name 'Mission of Gods' on your shoulders and stay here, descend into the blue sea, be a bounty hunter or whatever you like. So just militia, huh?"
Cricket remained silent, a few minutes passed.
"Well, I did think about what you said before. Actually," a wide grin appeared on his face. "Not a bad idea, living in the Golden City I mean! Ahaha!"
Cricket laughed out loud, while the Shandian people around him smiled at him. Amon also laughed, "Hahaha! I know it!"
They both laughed as night fell in the sky.
«...★...»
Amon was lying on his back with a side bag by his side. Aisa was on top of him, sitting on his chest while looking around.
"Hey, Amon!"
That was when he heard the call and looked in that direction. Wyper who has a grin on his face and a spear in his hand.
Amon smiled at him. 'This motherfucker's getting disrespectful, so. He immediately called me by that name now…'
"I, WARRIOR Wyper, challenge you to the position of LORD!"
He shouted with all his might as everyone looked at him, while Amon chuckled on the ground
"Alright, be! Little fucker!"

A/N: In addition to the norm chapter, we got some disclosures from the Amon side as well. Imagine words like 'Hujahujahuja' always ringing in your mind, especially when you do it yourself. This might explain a few things if you look at it…
