Chapter 31

'Oh, Cobra, look at your son. He not only became strong but also treated his sister very well.' Gan Fall thought with a smile like a grandfather.

Soon after, Gan Fall took Raki away, as he struggled, but after Amon's gaze, he did as Gan Fall asked.

Seeing them off, Amon let out a long sigh.

Besides Raki learning how to use the sword properly, Amon does this for only one reason, and that is to know about 'Society'. Although the society in the previous Amon world and the One Piece world were completely different, it was basically the same. Humans are monsters and hypocrites.

If he had to be more specific, the only reason he did this was Raki's acceptance. Raki is currently accepting him for who he is, largely because the people around him, the Shandians, see the 'evil' and 'horrible' things Amon does as not-so-bad, though, so Raki saw it the same.

This is his lab, where he's doing human research. Although at this time, he only had one test subject, who was also dead.At first, this location was only accessible through a hidden door, even so this was a secret location, which was a secret location, because few people know about hidden doors, let alone this lab. . So there's not much security except for a few scan dials at the front door and also an electro-formation dial in the room, which would knock people unconscious, except for Amon. But even that much security is nothing in the world of One Piece…

While there is a real reason for that lack of security, and that is .. there is nothing important inside this lab. Not even the body. This is just the front with only a few medical accessories inside, which even some people who know of its location are unaware of.

Ignoring the 3rd door, Amon walked through a very long hallway, because after a few minutes when it came to the 23rd door, Amon stopped.

Amon pierced through the skin of his finger with the needle he was carrying and dropped blood in a small crack in the machine.

[Beep! Descendants of the Shandorians Detected! It sounded! The current owner of the Era, Shandorian Amon was detected! You Can Enter!]

An emotionless robot voice said, as Amon then waited, while something like a futuristic sliding door, a golden wall between doors 23-24 separated.

There the elevator was waiting for Amon. Inside, the walls are made of pure steel, or perhaps even better material, as it shines from the light bulb above it. 

Amon slowly stepped in without any caution, as if he had done this before.

[Beep! Bringing Lord Shandora to the Shandora City Hall.] 

The robot's voice said as the golden door closed, and the elevator started to sink. As it descended, it did not even make any sound but Amon could feel it going down and deep.

Immediately after, the elevator stopped as it slowly began to open.

[Beep! A white mist would be released which would render anyone who did not have Shandorian blood unconscious!]

*Bphhhh!*

As the elevator doors opened, a white mist entered them. Amon stood there quietly, a few minutes passed, and the fog disappeared, making Amon catch a glimpse of the scenery behind.

"...Goddamn." Even though he had seen this before, he was still impressed.

The walls are made of pure steel or maybe something better than that because it shines under the limelight. There were many places where there were walls that seemed to be made of black gold. There were small spacecraft, submarines, and futuristic weaponry lying around. There is also a lot of futuristic medical equipment a little ahead.

Overall, this seemed like a direct view of the future.

Amon ended up doing something, even though it was just an ordinary laugh. "Who would have thought, that under the island of Jaya is a futuristic fucking city?"

This is the legacy left behind by the inhabitants of the Moon people, the kings of the Golden City, the people who created the perfect robotic AI, Automata. 

One kingdom that required the efforts of 20 World Government kingdoms to be destroyed, The Great Shandorians.
