Galang got down from the car after seeing Amara open the second floor window of his shop. No one had come because it was still very early, but the man decided to stop by.
At a glance the girl's gaze was distracted when Galang stood not far from the store and stared at her. He was neat with a navy suit and his hair was drizzly. It looks like an executive in general.
The man smiled.
"I want breakfast. I thought the shop was open?" Galang.
"More sir?" Amara answered.
"That's exactly it." Then he walked closer to the door that was still tightly closed.
Amara was seen descending the stairs in a hurry. She couldn't believe that the man had come this early yesterday after taking Anya home without saying goodbye as soon as he finished his meal. By just leaving a hundred thousand pieces of money on the table.
"My staff hasn't arrived yet?" The girl opened the door.
Galang is still smiling.
"Aren't you going in or what?" amara said as the man stood in front of the door.
But Galang chuckled, and he then stepped into the still dim room.
"What time are you open?" The man looked around.
"Hour seven." Amara opened some curtains that were still closed.
"It's been seven more?" Staring at his watch.
"Yes, today is a bit relaxing, because last night was really close." The girl turned around and she was stunned when she recognized the clock Galang was wearing.
"These shops are always crowded?" The man sat in the first chair he saw.
"That's it."
"You did it."
"No. Haven't. This is just the beginning, and I'm still an amateur."
"You've made it to amateur size. Every day visitors are getting crowded. I can even see the queue at lunchtime from my study up there."
"Don't you like to sneak?" Amara pointed the tip of her index finger at Galang.
"Sometimes, if I feel overwhelmed with work." The man replied.
"That's the job you want."
"Open up the job, but sometimes there's something that makes us feel like quitting for a second."
"Not ten years, brother. My father's shadow who worked there for more than twenty years. Never ever wonder to say saturated, or want to stop for a while. Everything Papa does with all his heart."
"Yes, if that's the case, your father has no equal."
"Clear."
"And I'm sure that you too will be like him."
"Dong, you must."
"Yes, while I'm still where I stand, I can't chase you."
They both fell silent.
"Aren't there morning meetings or something?" Then Amara asked after a while.
"No."
"Is there a schedule for meetings with clients?"
"Not really, why?"
"Are you here early in the morning?"
"Did I tell you I want breakfast?"
"Yes means …."
"I want coffee." He interrupted his sentence.
"Hum?"
"I want coffee, nothing else."
"Why do you want coffee here anyway? Can you be in the office too?" Amara muttered as she sauntered towards the pantry.
"Because I want your coffee."
The girl snorted, but she also made coffee for him.
"Well, just keep an eye out. But if they do anything, warning action can be taken. At least keep them away from Clarra." He talked to someone on the phone when Amara came back and put a cup of coffee on the table.
"...."
"Yes, we'll talk about it again, I'm having some business." And then the conversation ended.
Amara almost went back to leaving her alone when the man grabbed her hand.
"Sit down, I want to talk."
"Speak again? What the hell is it?" The girl also came back.
"Sit down first." Galang blowing coffee is still hot, then sipping it slowly.
"Ten minutes to go." Even the bar did the same.
"There's really nothing serious we should talk about anymore, right? I told you everything that night. And actually, you don't have to say anything anymore. We don't have anything, do we know?"
"Yes, I know."
"Why do you keep acting like there's something between us? Not to mention there's Brother Clarra, this I feel like we're cheating on you know? What else if you come here by yourself. And surely Brother Clarra doesn't know that Brother's here."
Galang laughing.
"Don't laugh, Dudul! I told you if you wanted to come here it had to be the same, Brother Clarra. Let me not yell. This is even ngeyel himself. Where yesterday brought Anya again for alesan."
"I told you that's what Anya wanted, not me to use her as an excuse." Galang.
But Amara is ticking.
"Cowok tuh if it's been a lie surely the impression will continue to lie. Look, after this if Brother Clarra asks abis from where it used to be, surely Brother will not say from here."
"Oh yeah?"Â
"Hm." Amara nodded.
"Sokot know."
"I'm sure."
"Well, if I'm honest with Clarra out of here, how will she be?"
"Yes angry. Her boyfriend's time out to meet other girls she's just plain, impossible."
"You want a bet?" The man took his coffee back.
"Why use all bets?"
"So, looks like it's interesting." Galang.
"Gee! Big sister knows?"
He just nodded.
"Don't just nod. The longer you're the more awesome."
"Yes, I know."
"When you know why you're still gini?"
"Why, I'm just missing." He bit his lips hard. Can't believe he said something like that, but they're not in a relationship.
"Mh …."
"I can't do anything but say this. It's not possible to …."
"Sister's working hours are about to begin." Amara distracts, making Galang look back at the clock that is coiled around his wrist.
"Where's work, have you had coffee here?"
"I spent it soon."
"All right." Amara rose from her seat, along with her employees who arrived almost simultaneously.
"You're late!" he said, when the four young men came in.
"Sorry Brother, sorry. Overnight …."Â
"Quick prepare, maybe soon we will have many guests. The first guest has come." Amada pointed to Galang who was still enjoying his coffee.
"Ee .. Yes Brother." Then the four of them poured in and took their jobs.
"Udah?" Amara turned to the risen Galang.
"Hm …." The man nodded while putting a piece of money on the table.
"Not to be paid, it's free." Amara.
"Why? Wasn't I your first customer today." Galang glanced, then smiled obliquely.
"But that's mostly." Amara stared at the blue-colored paper money that Galang put there.
"Nothing, for tips. Because you've been accompanying me this morning." He answers.
"It's just a pleasantries."
"I know, but still I'm happy."
Amara twisting eyeballs.
"I'm leaving." The barge is walking backwards.
"Hm …."Â
The man turned around, then rushed out to his car.
