Clarra was stunned looking at her mother who looked messy. He ventured to meet her even though his misgivings remained disturbing. But Clarra decided to really confront this woman with all the compassion she had.
Larra looks messy. He was wearing prisoner clothes and was not as fashionable as usual. Her hair was just tied back without complete make up as she used to use.
The lines of wrinkles are so obvious what else is his always moody face. Plus it's a completely different situation.
"Some healthy?" Clarra open the sound.
"As you can see." Larra answered.
"How's Mama here?"Â
"What do you really think? Mama having fun?"
Clarra pulled and exhaled slowly. It's okay, doesn't he already know if his mother's nature is like this? And he has to be able to deal with it. This woman is now helpless.
"Mom should know that I don't hate Mama. But there are risks that you have to bear after everything you do. Especially the last time Mama's been sacrificing others because of Mama's ambition."
Larra looked unhappy.
"It's okay, if Mama won't realize everything. Even after Mama was in her current state. It's your right to hate. But one thing, Mama's life won't be quiet forever."
"I'm just saying what I feel. Everything I went through because of Mama's behavior, and what I experienced, obviously, it all started with Mama. But I've been rethinking for a few days now, if it turns out that what I did to deal with it was wrong. I didn't really face Mama for all the trouble that came after Mama came into my life, but instead ran away. And that's clearly wrong. Because what happened was that I was getting more depressed."
Larra looked at her daughter's face.Â
"I just found out that making peace with that situation is more beautiful. Accepting things with a more spacious chest makes us calmer, and realize all the mistakes will make our burden less. At least we won't repeat the same mistake."
"I was hoping that Mama would think the same way as me, but it seems like a long way off. Seeing Mama who is still like this, a little disappointed me. But it's okay, it's Mama's right. The one who feels is your heart, and the one who thinks is your memory. And the one who will end up feeling tormented is Mama too, not me. While we, and the people that Mama hates will continue their lives quietly and happily."
"I forgive Mama for whatever she has done to me. And I hope they do too. At least we did the right thing. The rest, it's up to Mama." Clarra spoke at length.
He brought out everything that had been in his mind all along.
"And I'm also grateful that Mama left me in the hospital, so my parents took me home and took care of me this big. I'm grateful that Mama didn't take me away. Thank you." she said again, and she almost got up when Larra reached out to hold her back.
Clarra held her breath for a moment when she saw the girl's finger. Almost all of his nails disappeared, and he had quite severe injuries.Â
Now there are no more fingers with beautiful nails. Or a pretty face with elegant makeup. All that remains is Larra. A middle-aged woman who has nothing.
"You know what the reason is, and why Mama did it" Larra said in a trembling voice.
"I know, and everyone knows. But there is one thing that Mama doesn't understand. A wise man who makes a mistake apologizes and corrects himself. But a fool will just run away, and even repeat the same mistake. Just think about which side your mom is on. Although I hope Mama will be wise to face this problem, but back again, Mama has the right to determine how Mama's next attitude." Then Clarra came out. He then approached Doctor Syahril who was waiting outside the meeting room.
"It's over?" ask the man.
Clarra replied with a nod of her head.
"Well, any plans anywhere else?" They walked out of the police station after completing all the vetting procedures needed to complete Arfan and Galang's report on the violent incidents and accidents in the previous week. All of which were masterminded by Larra.
"Nothing."
"Wanna go back to the office?" The two stopped near a car belonging to doctor Syahril.
"It doesn't seem to be for today." Clarra was about to enter when the man opened the door.
"Why?"
"I asked for leave for the whole day" said the woman.
"really? Wh why? Later Nikolai Group will be messed up if you leave on weekdays." Shahril laughed a little.
"No, there is already a Galang. He said he'd be the one to come back to the office after finishing his business." Clarra stared in the other direction where she saw Galang who had also just exited the police station.
"Can that be?"
"could. That's what an assistant is for, isn't it? So we can share the task." replied Clarra again.
"Yes, it's true."
"Hm …"
"So, do I have to wait for you to come home now?" The man closed the door after Clarra entered and sat in the passenger seat.
"It looks like we'll have to get Syahnaz to school first. Then you can take us home and go back to the hospital. Didn't your mother come home today?" clarra replied which left Syahril's doctor stunned for a while.
"Yes, I've been in the hospital for more than two days." Then he answered.
Doctor Syahril just smiled, to then walk around to the wheel.
While on the other hand, Galang who was wearing a helmet and gloves watched the two men until they left the place.
He was relieved, knowing Clarra who seemed to be fine. I hope this is a good start for them too.
...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...
"Nania didn't come in today?" Daryl spread his gaze to every corner of the tavern, but he did not find the girl in question.
"Go out sir." replied Ardi who placed the man's order on the table.
"Where to go? Isn't it at lunchtime like this that shops are always crowded? Why did he leave?" Daryl almost drank the mineral water he asked for.
"To the hospital." Ardi still answered.
"Why did he go to the hospital? Is her father sick again?" Daryl asked again.
"Not Sir."
"Continue?"
Then there was a bell over the door of the tavern ringing, and the attention of these two men was distracted when Nania entered.
"Well, that's Nania already coming." Ardi pointed at the girl who was walking in in haste.
"Sorry I'm late. The road was jammed, it ran out late again, the backpack just." He put his sling bag on the pantry table which was immediately secured by Raka.
Nania then put on her black affron and immediately tied her hair up.
"Well, you can go back inside Di, I'll take over here" he told Ardi.
"OK." the young man also complied.
"Hey!" Daryl called him who was watching the situation.
"Hey Nania?" call her again when the girl doesn't respond.
"Yes Sir? You call me?" Nania then approached him.
"Where are you doing this? Is it rush hour at the store? Out, too." Daryl.
"I?" The girl pointed at her own face.
"Who else? Is there anyone else in front of me besides you?" Daryl asked back.
"Oh, .. I'm from the hospital sir."
"Who is sick? Why not this morning, or later in the afternoon while it's quiet? Is it not during the day that is usually crowded with visitors? How much do you think you are?"
"Lho, I'm in …."
"Don't mind Ara not there, then you feel free to work as you please."
"No sir, I'm …."
"It's okay if it's important, but you have to look at the situation as well. Don't go at rush hour. Remember, Ara entrusted this shop to you. You should have kept that trust well, not arbitrarily like this."
"Ck! Father nyerocos kayak gini habit, without hearing the explanation of others. Once a lover has the opportunity to speak, it is not only Bapan who speaks." Nania replied with a sense of annoyance in her heart.
"And don't remind me of how to keep my boss' trust, because all this time I've been doing a good job. Let alone nothing, there is also a sister Ara my work is good. Don't you fucking know."
"What's? You dare to talk to me like that?"
"Why am I not brave? I'm not wrong. The father knew very well. Why don't you bother me, Dad, if it doesn't bother me? Is my job a problem for you?"
"Hey!" Daryl raised his voice.
"Not screaming, you're not my boss, not my salary. The one who paid my energy was Mr. Ara, or at least Mr. Arfan. Only those who have the right to shout at me, that's if I'm wrong. If it's not wrong, I won't take it." Nania almost left, but she stopped.
"Oh yes, I also went out not without reason. I went to the hospital to deliver food for Ara. You see, Mr. Arfan Nelfon asked to make risotto." Then the girl actually left when she saw the next few visitors who entered. While Daryl was silent with his mouth gaping.
