"Are we not wrong to let him stay in Paris?" Dygta offered clothes to her husband who had just finished cleaning.
"I don't think so. He is studying and looking for life. What's wrong?" Arfan broke his still wet hair.
"Too long abroad without our supervision, is it good for him?"
"What length? It's only been two years. You lived in Russia for four years, and see? nothing happened."
"And I think girls will be more able to limit themselves in every way. Remember where they are and how they should be. Unlike boys who tend to be free to do everything."
"Is that?"
"Average. Just look at Dimitri."
"Huh, you guys do like to be free even if it is without restrictions. Women should always limit themselves."
"Not me, but your sister."
"Just the same."
"Are we going to argue? Seriously, I'm so tired today. The trip from the top was really emotionally draining, apart from being stuck as well because I had to take care of things. About resort employees acting and other things. I don't think I want to argue at home anymore." He immediately put on his clothes, while Dygta clenched his mouth.
"Listen darling, Ara's an adult. He can decide anything he wants. And I can't limit him like I did to you. He's a different person. His stubbornness could not be compared to anyone, and he could run anything according to his own desires. So just let him be."
"I'm just worried Papa."
"You think I'm not worried about letting go of my daughter alone abroad? I even sent people to watch him for the full 24 hours there just to make sure he was okay. What do you think that's called?"
"I just realized that it turns out we've been pampering him too much. Make her life so easy by giving her whatever she wants. Accomplish all his requests and obey all his will. But I didn't realize it had made him grow up to be a selfish person. Just thinking about himself, and everything just revolves around him."
"But he's a good boy."
"Ara is a good boy. Always according to what we say. But do you know, if he has a desire, then it must always be manifested according to his wishes. Can't bargain, and there's no tolerance for anything else."
"He's like you know?" Dygta chuckled, though he soon regretted his own words.
"Indeed. He looks so much like me. And I think that's his attitude because of me, too. You know, the guilt of separation makes me want to pay for all that wasted time by obeying her will. I thought it would be able to replace the things that were lost. But it's not what I thought." Arfan in a disappointed tone.
"Oh, no. You are a good Papa." Dygta immediately embraced her husband.
"I hope so." Arfan then chuckled.
"So, why don't we just leave Ara with her life there. Who knows he'll find himself, and feel what he doesn't feel here."
"Let it?"
"Hm ... "
Dygta.
"You're worrying too much about her like she was born out of your womb?"
"Hey, I've been hugging her since the baby found out. So I know what it's like. No need to be born from my womb to love her."
Arfan pulled and exhaled slowly. He forgot that his wife and son grew up together. And since the baby, he was the one who was always with Amara. So whatever he's going to say won't change Dygta's outlook on him.
"But if you say so, yes. You must have calculated everything, right?"
"Yes, of course. Don't worry, I won't let go of her surveillance. He'll stay safe."
"Hm ...." Dygta nodded his head.
...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...
"Schedule." The galang appeared right after Dimitri arrived.
Clarra glanced over to look at her notes she had made before.
"Call it down, I'll tell Mr. Dimitri" said the man standing next to his desk.
Clarra was silent for a while, but she immediately did what Galang ordered.
"Two meetings are held in order in ...."
"Just make a note that is clear and understandable. Or if I don't understand, I'll ask you." Galang said, not as usual.
These few days he has been quieter and does his job without saying much.
"It." Clarra shifted a piece of paper containing a record of the activities that the man had to do with Dimitri.
"Thank you." Said Galang, then immediately entered into the room of his superior.
He came out shortly afterwards with Dimitri who was going to have some meetings elsewhere that day.
"Go first Cla, if Rania comes, just say I have a meeting" Dimitri said.
"Not really. But who knew he was coming? They like to show up without notice." Dimitri answered.
"Oh, fine."
Then the two men immediately left the place.
"Are you having a problem?" Dimitri turned to his assistant who was standing right beside him, waiting for the elevator door to open.
"I mean Father?"
"You and Clarra?"
"Why?"
"You haven't talked much lately?"
"It's okay?"
"out of fighting?"
"Not really."
"Keep up why?"
"It's okay sir."
"Don't mix work with personal business, or you'll screw things up."
"Who is that too?"
"Yes you guys."
Galang snorted loudly.
"The professional." They entered when the elevator doors opened.
"This is also professional sir. Even Clarra told me she didn't want me to talk to other than work." Galang reacted because this started to feel upsetting for him.
"Yes good, and he's right. In the office it should be like that. If it's personal, talk outside."
"What?"
"Personal business."
"Personal business?" Galang.
"Yes, personal business. You have personal business, don't you?"
"Nothing."
"Hm ...."
"What does this mean, sir?"
"Don't you guys pay each other a visit to the house? You brought Clarra back to Bandung, and she you drove her home?"
"Gosh my god." Galang shook his head.
"Great, great. You're the first man who can get close to him, and get no rejection." Dimitri pounded Galang's arm slowly, then laughed.
"Is there something wrong with that?"
"What's wrong? Isn't that nice? Two singles who meet in one office? That's a good thing."
"Mrrrongly thought."
"You're right it's okay too, you fit in. He's more mature than you, but I don't think that's a problem."
"Sir?"
"From the uncertain wait. Hahaha ..." The boss laughed.
"Father is wrong."
"Whatever you say."
