They feel so excited, because today is the opening of Amara's tavern. Everything has been prepared so thoroughly and perfectly.Â
The room is so comfortable with all the typical knick-knacks and sweetener ornaments that make the atmosphere feel so different from other eating places.
The place is not too broad, but it can make people feel at home there. At least that's how Arfan and Dygta felt who accompanied Amara that day. Mytha arrived shortly afterwards with her husband.
"Mama Fia and Papi are still in Moscow?" Amara asked Dygta.
"Yes. Last night's phone call and apologies couldn't be present. Darren and Daryl are today." The woman answered.
"Oh yeah? So what's the title now?"
"L2."
"Wow. They're school addicts, right? Screaming." Amara laughs. "Will you continue with S3?"
"don't know. If Darren doesn't want to, but if Daryl continues, then he will. They don't want to be defeated."
"Should they always be the same?"
"That's it, you know for yourself, right?"
"Yes." Yeah."
"But Mama Fia already asked Papi to sell the company there so they would go home."
"Well, play sell?"
"Eventually they chose to stay there for the reason of taking care of the company. But make mama sprain." Dygta laughs.
"The two are weird."
"Dimitri today is also busy, so can't come. Most Rania stopped by after picking up her kids."
"Yes, it's okay Mom."
"What time is the opening, brother?" Mytha interrupted the conversation between them.
"Ma in a moment. As soon as the first customer shows up." Amara answered.
"But it's almost ten." Arfan looked at his watch.
"It's more than a schedule, right?"
"Yes." Yeah."
"Why don't you just start, brother?" Dygta.
"Mom in a moment. I want it opened when there's a customer first." said Amara.
"Okay, we'll wait again."
"The pamphlets and leaflets have been spread?" Arfan ensured the situation.
"It's over with one box."
"Promo on social media?"
"Udah too. Many people come."
"Why hasn't anyone come yet?" Mytha looked at the large window in front of her.
Cars with various brands and types pass through the main street of the most famous office area in Jakarta. People with their own activities.
The place is also quite strategic for the size of the place to eat. Located at the end of the block which is the intersection of several connecting roads between blocks. That should make the place crowded at such hours.
But somehow there have been no signs of the presence of the first customer as predicted by Amara himself.
"Maybe not." Dygta looked in the same direction as Mytha.
"Yes, maybe. There's no lunch time yet, is there?" Mytha.
"Yes right."
"Why did you refuse the offer to invite Papa's connection? There's a good thing, they'll be able to attract visitors here."
"Udah I said I don't want to like that. I want this from zero. From nobody." Amara answered her father.
"Yes, you started from zero. See it? There are no visitors."
"Papa don't matahin my spirit dong, my confidence is here."
"But you also have to be realistic. You can't just do it like this. No big promotions, no connections at all. You're like a street in the dark without illumination."
"Why don't you believe me?"
"Don't Papa not believe you. But think more logically."
"Do you think using Papa's connection I'll make it?"
"What's wrong if we try?"
"Maybe it will work."
"Why don't we try?"
Arfan.
"Good, but not too proud of me. Success because what good parents?"
"Because Papa is capable, dear!" Arfan touched his daughter's shoulder.
"But people will still call me a spoiled child who takes refuge under the armpits of parents."
"What?"
"My life was successful because of Papa's help, not because of my own hard work. Forever I'll be in Papa's shadow."
"Fine."
"Don't I have to stand on my own feet? Papa always said that I should try hard to get what I want. And this is the time. Successful or not, what matters is that I've tried."
Everyone listened to the girl's words.
"So let it all go like this. If there are no customers today, maybe tomorrow. If there's nothing tomorrow, maybe the day after."
"If the day after tomorrow doesn't exist?"Â
They all fell silent.
"Maybe next week." The hero just opened his voice after listening to the conversation in silence. But then, his words made them all laugh.
"Why does this make me go down?" Amara acted against father's words.
"Handler." The man was embracing his shoulder.
"You guys are making a little bit of a bum."
"There's more of a bitch." Wira.
"What?"Â
"Netizen moment."
"Huh?"
"Yes, later after you succeed, there will be many people who will find out. Where you come from, who your parents are, and what their reputation is. Then will appear speech, whether or not you are in that position. Or worth it and you didn't do it."
"Times?"
"of course. But remember, whatever they say, and whatever you hear hopefully will never shake your mind to stay on the right path."
Amara smelled a smile.
Once again he found evidence that he was really lucky. Everyone loves him, regardless of how he is. They still support everything he does even though he does not know whether it will work or not. And whatever they do, it's a way to love her.Â
Isn't that beautiful? And nothing is as beautiful as a parent's love for her child, right? Unconditional love, without having to do what you want. They do everything just because they love them.
And time kept rolling until it became more and more daytime. But still no one came. Though the leaflets back Nania and her friends scattered in the usually crowded street.
Arfan even helped spread colored paper with funny writing designed by his daughter to promote his first tavern. To every person who passed through the area up to several blocks away.
"Have anyone come?" The man returned to the tavern after the pamphlet he had brought out was given to the people.
Dygta shook his head, making Arfan frown in disappointment. She was eager to help her daughter, but the girl would definitely be angry if she did. So all he did was hold back the annoyance.
"It's okay. We open it now. Keep eating it?" Amara with cheerful look.Â
Although disappointed, he tried to toughen up. There was no way he would show any sadness in front of these people who had already put in so much effort for him. Especially parents who always support whatever their decision.Â
Not worth what they did.
"Nania, let's get everything ready?" He almost went into the cooking room when the front door was pushed from the outside.
Those who were inside, of course, immediately looked over.
"Excuse me? Is the shop open?" Two women almost came in.
Everyone look at each other.
"It." The hero answered.
"Oh, thank goodness. We're already very hungry. Today's work is quite tiring." They're coming in soon.
"Okay, please." Nania immediately approached the two, and she excitedly led them to their seats. Then show the menu book on the table.
"Have it opened?" The next person came in and asked the same thing.
"It."Â
Then the next visitor appeared. And over time the place became more crowded as time continued to run that afternoon.Â
