"Don't trouble your husband, Ara." Arfan sat in front of Amara who was enjoying a serving of fried kwetiau and a cup of boba ice, a drink he wanted at midnight like that.
Luckily, Ardi who stayed at Amara's Love was still awake until midnight because he and Raka had to prepare materials for the order the next day. Making Galang not have to bother looking for the merchant of the drink that is impossible to find at such a time.
"No, this is new." The princess answered and then sipped the drink again. While Galang lay down on the sofa with his eyes drowsy.
"So you have a plan to do it again?" Arfan folded his hands on his chest, and he stuck his back on the back of the chair.
"No, why should I make such a plan? No work at all?" Amara answered.
"A time of cravings planned? Vacationing yet?" Dygta decided to join her husband and son.
"No, Mommy knows. Papa's time isn't it?" Amara without stopping her eating.
His mouth was so full that it made his cheeks appear bulging.
"It's not a matter of understanding or not, but don't overdo it like this. Poor Galang." Arfan glanced at his son-in-law.
He was sure of the many things his daughter did so as to possibly make Galang mad in order to fulfill her wish. And Arfan knows how hard it is to deal with pregnant women.
"Yee ... Just ask for this doang?" Amara still answered.
"Ara, you better …." But Arfan hung up his words as Dygta touched her shoulder, giving her husband a cue to stop talking.
"Quick spend, after that sleep, brother?" said the woman who also hinted to Arfan to leave their daughter.
"Galang, you better move to the room. You look so sleepy." Dygta then turned to his son-in-law.
"Yes, Mom. Later while waiting for Ara, who knows what the others want?" Even the answer answered.
"Hmm .. Yes, then we stay asleep? Tomorrow must go to Bogor early in the morning." said the mother-in-law who pulled her husband to their room.
***
"Sister?" Amara called Galang who was still trying to wake up even though drowsiness continued to make him almost fall asleep.
"Yes? Is it done?" The man got up from his sleeping position.
"Hu'um." Amara nodded her head.
Then Galang walked up to him. He saw the sterofoam and the cold cup was empty. Only the remaining chunks of ice cubes have melted.
"All right, then let's go to the room?" The man helped him stand up.Â
"Come on." Amara held on to her husband's hand.
"Sister?" They were in bed and almost closed their eyes.
"Yes?"
"His mother's phone this week with dad?" Amara stared at the darkened ceiling of the room as the main lights had already been turned off.
"Not yet." Struggling with a weak voice. His eyes really felt heavy but he could not ignore his wife just like that. Because the woman can sulk until the morning.
"Huh, why not? I'm just like you waiting for news from us."
"Yes, Neng. Tomorrow Aa calls mom and dad. If now it must be sleeping pules." The man replied again.
"Oh, yes. It's early morning." Amara chuckled as she looked at the digital clock on the nightstand that showed almost 2 am.
"Yes, that's why you're sleeping too?" And Galang really closed his eyes.
"I'm not sleepy" said Amara. "Is this pregnancy making me weird? I usually go to bed early and eat regularly. But since pregnancy a lot has changed, brother?"Â
But Galang did not respond, and made the pregnant woman turn to him.
"Well, is my brother sleeping? I'm not sleepy yet?" Then he reacted.
"Sister! Don't sleep yet! I was alone, right, serem?" She shook her husband's body.
"Sir, get up!!"Â Amara continued to bother him until the man finally woke up.
"What else is Neng? I swear, I'm really sleepy! Can't you sleep too? It's almost dawn, my God!" He rubbed his face and ruffled his own hair.
"I can't sleep, brother!"
"Try it! Long sleep later. Usually, right?"
"Now this can't be, brother."
"But I remember my mother." said Amara.
"Yes on?"
"Mh …." The woman looked at her husband's face.
"I guess …." Amara hesitates.
"What else? What do you want now? The food? A drink? Juice or something?"
"Not." He shook his head slowly.
"Continue what? Don't fuck around anymore. I will be emotional!" Error warned.
"Not like-mscam really, but only one kind." Amara replied, still looking at the man's face that looked unnatural.
"Continue what? Don't ask for anything weird, especially at this hour. I can't grant it now." said Galang.
"That .. eee …."
"What's? Say it!"
But Amara was silent.
"Huh, yeah already. I'm going to sleep again!" And Galang almost put his head back on the pillow.
"Sister?" Amara then called back
"Yes Neng?" And the man tried to stay calm even though the annoyance began to run through the heart.
This woman had indeed become a little strange since she was pregnant, and it was really testing her patience. Because not only the efficacy that increases hundreds of times but also stubborn and can not be rejected. There was always something he asked for and it had to be granted.
"Let's go to Bandung?" he said, which left Galang stunned for a few seconds.
"I think I miss my mom? Baby too. So, let's go?" Amara with a cheerful smile. His white teeth were clearly visible even in the darkness of their room.
"Okay, but tomorrow? Now I need to sleep first." Galang answered, and now he was literally laying his head on a pillow.
"No way!" But the woman touched his hand.
"What did you say?"
"I .. want it now. Come on, brother, are we going to Bandung?" she said again, and this time completely eroded her husband's patience.
"Sister?"
The man snorted loudly, then quickly turned his body in another direction.
"Sister? Come on, let's dong …."
He pulled out the blanket and then covered his head tightly. If only he did not feel ashamed of his father-in-law's whereabouts, it would be very desirable for him to shout as much as possible to vent his frustration against their daughter who is his wife.
"Sister? Come ... I want to see Mom!"
He still doesn't respond.
"Sister, come …."
"Stop Ara!" He then threw down the blanket that covered his body.
This time Galang could no longer hold back.Â
"Do you know what time it is? Why are you asking for such a ridiculous thing?" he said with annoyance.
"Know the distance to Bandung how many hours? And I have to drive that far and ignore our safety just for the sake of your whining? That's right!" The man snarled a little.
Amara fell silent as she clenched her mouth tightly.
"You should also think that not all things I can do. I'm a human. I need sleep and I need rest. Not just to fulfill all your desires."
"You complaining to Papa again? Please don't care. At most he beat me up because I ignored his daughter who wanted to leave at this unnatural hour" he said, and he pulled back the blanket to cover his head, then tried to close his eyes.
Galang did not care about her in-laws' anger that might happen if Amara complained. Because he felt that the woman this time was indeed outrageous.
