"Can I have ice cream?" Anya's eyes are perfectly rounded staring at a large portion of ice cream brought by a waiter at a restaurant.
"Are you forbidden to eat ice cream?" He distracts from his phone.
"Not really. But Mommy said she ate her ice cream on Sunday. Is this Sunday?"
"Are you eating ice cream using that rule?" Galang.
"Mommy said Om."
"And you're shirking?" The man chuckled.
"If you don't get scolded by mommy."
"Is your mommy really angry?"
"If I'm naughty."
"Do you like being naughty?" Then Galang laughed.
"A little bit of Om."
"You're Zen?" Then he turned to the boy who was engrossed in his food.
One serving of rattatouile that he craves.
"Well, you hungry?" Galang stared at the plate containing the typical French food.
"Hu'um, just ate a little. Anya went mad." replied Zenya innocently.
"Well, that's it, yeah. Nothing should be rushed. Rousy." Galang half whispered while glancing at Anya.
"I'm a horror." The little girl put ice cream in her little mouth.
"Well, can't she have ice cream other than Sunday?" Error remind.
"Aren't there any ice cream? Dear." Anya answered.
"Om telling Mommy you know."
"The one who loves you?"
"Do you know what?"
"But is it not for you? At most Om scolded Mommy."
"Well, can you reverse the words?" The man grumbled. While Anya continued to enjoy the sweet snack without caring around.
"You want ice cream too?" bargain Galang to Zenya.
"No."
"Why?"
"Is this Sunday?" Zenya asked.
"No. It's just Saturday."
"Oh, .. no."
"Om not going to say Mommy. It's a secret."
"No. I'm a good boy." said the boy, and Galang understood his point.
The boy will not violate what Rania said because of his permission.
"I think so much of you." He rubbed the top of his head. "But how is Anya different?" Then he laughed.
After enjoying the food that has been ordered, Galang then brought these two children around as they wanted. Visiting some famous places around the circuit until without feeling finally the tour guide takes them back to the city of Paris.
"Eiffel cool!" Zenya turned his head to look at the end of the tall building with an expression of astonishment.
"Why did we come back here again?" Galang scratched his unscratchy head.
"Have you guys been worried about your parents?" said the man.
"Can we go up there?" Anya looked at Galang's face with sparkling eyes.
"Ngantri." They stared at the long queue.
"But I want to go up there!"
"The queue is long, Anya."
"But Om?"
"Don't whine! Didn't you see that long queue? What time do you want to stay here?" The man said.
"And I ..."
"Don't expect Om to obey your will huh? No way! Om is not an oma and opa who will obey your unreasonable will!" said Galang firmly.
"Oh, it's not cool."
"We're going back to the villa?" bargain later.
Anya scrunched her mouth.
While Galang just laughed. He took the two children by the hand and returned to the car.
***
"Dul, where are you taking the kids? It's the night!" Rania's message went to Galang's phone.
The night had crawled up but the man had not yet returned. Plus the kids who really enjoyed the day's sightseeing. Making Galang has a reason to buy time.
"Awhile more. We're still near Eiffel." He retaliated.
"What? Far Lang!" Message from Rania again.
"Yes, I'll be home soon."
"Don't kemalaman! Tomorrow morning I have to get ready!" Threatening Rania, like warning the guy who's bringing her daughter on a date.
"Yes Oneng." he replied again, followed by a laughing emot.
"Om, who are we waiting for?" He looked out the window of the car they were riding in.
A hotel that he remembered as where they stayed overnight looks vibrant with decorative lights on its front.
It was eight o'clock in Paris, and the atmosphere looked quite crowded. The car looks lined up to the outside, and it seems the place is getting busy.
But Galang squinted his eyes when he saw a girl coming out of the hotel with some friends.
Amara with a thick jacket to ward off the cold that began to crack.
He grabbed his jacket, and then he got out of the car.
"Om Galang? Where are you going?" The boy's cry was loud enough to sound out. Making the young people who almost passed in front of their cars turned their heads.
And Amara was of course stunned for the sake of seeing the man walking hastily towards her. Which he did not think would come back at all.
"Hey, you want to go home?" said Galang, directly to the point.
"Nobody here again?"
"Just take a walk." Galang replied, glancing at the three people who were with Amara.
"Om Galang!" Anya opened the car glass and then stuck her head.
"The son of Rania." He said, when Amara's facial features changed when he saw two small children in the car.
"What do you guys think are nights here?"
"intentionally."
"Willfully?"
"You'll see you again." The two corners of the man's lips were attracted to form a smile.
"Maybe tomorrow afternoon we go straight home so, ...."
"Amara, nous rentrons d'abord a' la maison (We go home first)." Catherine. They knew there was something about his friend.
"Mh ...."
"Bye."
"See you." The three men left without waiting for Amara's reply.
The girl sighed and exhaled slowly.
"Come, I'll take you." He jerked his head towards the car.
And it looks like Amara has no reason to dodge. So he decided to just come along.
The two little children stared fixedly at him. They sit in the back seat, while Galang in the front seat with the driver and their tour guide.
"Sister?" Anya.
"That's Brother Ara. Anya remember?" Galang.
"Sister Ara?"
"Mommy Dygta and Papa Arfan."
"Akkhan's brother?"
"Yes." Yeah."
"I forgot."
"Yes, because brother Ara left when you were three years old."
"Sister escaped?" The boy asked.
"No, but college."
"Lecture?"
"School."
"Where's the school?"
"Here."
"In Paris?"
"Yes." Yeah."
"Shit the school far away? Take the plane and dong?" Anya with her innocence.
"I once got on a plane dizzy, sleepy. Brother gets on a plane every day?" Sahut Zenya, no less innocent. Makes Galang and Amara laugh at the same time.
"Sister boarded his plane only once, from Indonesia only. After that no."
"Nginep's schoolgirl?"
"Yes, rich is that."
"Yes can."
"Can't you?"
"I mean, get her in an apartment that's dekett to school." Amara explained.
"Oh, I'm doing it at school." Anya laughed, so Amara also laughed.
"You're so funny anyway? How many years?" Amara pinched Anya's cheek in a fit of anxiety. They suddenly became familiar.
"Five years. Zenya is also." Anya patted her twin brother's arm.
"Schooler?"
"TK A's Time."
"Printer's patter."
"Yes dong, rich Mommy equals Papi." The boy was proud.
"Hmm .. yes." Amara smiles.
"I got off here, sister" said Amara, when the car they were riding in arrived in front of an apartment building.
"You live here?" Staring at the surrounding area.
"Yes." Yeah."
"Is it safe?" The man asked.
"This is the safest suburb of Paris."
"Oh yes, I forgot that your father is an accomplished detective in the Nikolai Group. He must have made sure of everything, huh?" Galang.
"Hm ... You know yourself, right?" Amara.
"I'm down?" connect Amara while opening the door, then go down. Followed by Galang who then walked to the girl.
"Actually I want to talk to you a lot, but ...." Galang's phone rang loudly, and Rania's contact called.
The man snorted loudly while closing his eyes in a flash.
"Yes Ran?" Then he answered the call.
"titled! Where are you guys?" The woman on the other side screamed loudly so that Galang kept the phone away from her ear.
"Still in Paris ...."
"What??" yell Rania again.
"Sepent ...."
"Go home now? That's the two boys you brought all the way! If you want to wander, don't bring my son dong!" Rania is still screaming.
"In the meantime, go home, too."
"Not for a moment! You guys should go home right now. Point!" rania.
"But Ran, I again ...."
"Now Galang!" The woman sounded growling.
Grunting again.
"Title!!"
"Yes Ran yes. Huh, you Oneng!" The man finally gave up.
"Sister goes back and forth with the kids? Yeah, did his mother?" Amara chuckles.
"It was just a walk, but it's getting here."
"Hmm ... so ...."
"So ...." Both spoke at the same time.
"Son't have to go home soon." Amara turned to the children who had their heads stuck out at the car window.
"Yes." Yeah." Galang nodded his head. "You all right, right here?"
"Hmm .. Brother too."
"Jaga yourself Ra."
And keep your heart for me too. His inner.
"Yes Brother."
"Accept ...." He wanted to get back in the car when the girl called.
"Sister Galang?"
"Yes?" The man immediately responded, then turned around.
"What time are you coming home?" Amara asked.
"Umm .. it seems like it wasn't long after Rania finished her race. Why?"
Amara looked at the face of the man in front of her.
"If you want, stop by before you go home. Can you?" He took a few steps forward.
"What?"
"Come to the hotel for a while before you go home. I'll take my time."
The bar is in its place. He doesn't believe his hearing. Does this mean they still have a chance?
"Umm .. I ...."
"If you have time, stop by. If you can't, that's okay."
"Can, I can. I must've stopped by your place of work."
"Really?" A smile rose on Amara's lips. And that was the sweetest smile Galang had seen in two years.
"Yes, I'm definitely coming. Just wait."
"Hmm .. I'll wait." The girl nodded her head.
"All right, then I'm leaving."
"Yes, sister." said Amara.
And Galang was stunned when in a blink the girl's eyes burst into his arms.
"Thank you Brother for coming." Then he whispered. While Galang could not say a word.
"Mh ...."
"Now go home, ... Rania's sister must be waiting ...." Amara releases her embrace.
"I-iya" said Galang, retreating.
He did not turn his eyes away from the girl at all, until they finally left the place.
...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...
"DUULL!!" Rania's screams echoed in the villa grounds late that night. And he immediately ran over when the car that Galang and his two children were riding stopped in front of the terrace.
After more than two hours they waited for the return of her best friend and assistant husband. She took her two twins for a walk since noon. Dimitri stood with both hands folded in his chest.
"Teu approx! kieu karek way back! (don't you think, this hour just came home?)." Rania hit her best friend's arm.
"Where is the tea?! (Where are you?)."
"Can Ran walk?" Error answering.
"Teu thought? Jaba mawa slave deuih? Basic Dudul! (don't think, where's the child?)."
"I'm sorry ...."
"Mommy, I'm sleepy." Anya and Zenya got off when Dimitri opened the car door for them.
"Uuuhh, here-here. You must be soy." Rania embraces her two children.
"Have you eaten yet? Not not yet?" Rania looked up at her best friend.
"That's Mommy, that was me eating, going for a walk, eating again, eating ice cream, and on ...." Anya covered her mouth with her hands.
"What's? Eating ice cream? On a Saturday?"
"Mh ...."
"I'm not Mommy, I'm a good boy." Zenya defended herself as her mother glanced at her.
"I promise, I'm good boy."
"Galm!!!" Then Rania turned to her best friend.
"I didn't know there were rules? What are the rules for an ice cream day? Is there-is there you?" He also defended himself.
"You ...."
"Mommy, I'm sleepy." Anya interrupted while struggling in the hands of her mother.
"Ck! All right, come on in. It's cold." Rania immediately pulls her two children into the villa.
While Dimitri was still there with Galang who was silent.
"You're in trouble, man!" The man said.
"I didn't mean to take them until this late sir. If only ...."
"Don't explain it to me, I don't want to know." Dimitri raised both his hands.
"But Sir?"
"Just explain to Rania, I just don't dare to break her Sunday ice cream rules. But you?"
"I don't know about that. Why is there such a rule, sir?"
"Don't know, that's your best friend, you know?"
"And your wife?"
"Yeah, it does." Then Dimitri went to follow his son and wife inside. While Galang chuckled while running to the pavilion beside where he rested.
