In the morning Devan said goodbye to his father and mother to go home and finish his work.

"sir, ma'am, Devan go home first. Today Devan must accompany father to meet important clients, later when it is finished Devan will come back here again" said Devan

"no need to rush, son, you must be tired, rest first at home.if there will be something mother will contact you" replied Wati and Devan nodded his head.

Devan kissed the backs of his parents' hands, then he drove away to the parking lot of his car.

Arriving home, Devan immediately cleans up and prepares to meet his father at the dinner table.

"let's have breakfast first" invited Dewi who was sitting at the dinner table with her husband.

Devan sat down and enjoyed his breakfast. The atmosphere was silent for a moment. Just the sound of the twang of the spoon and fork to the plate. Devan finished his meal early followed by his father and his mother.

"how is your brother? mommy told me everything was the same dad" said dad starting the conversation

At the hospital, Ms. Wati tried to contact Ms. Karina. He told me all the things that happened to his son.

Mama Vania was shocked to hear from her future ironclad. She immediately informed her husband who was still preparing to go to the office.

There was the sound of Vania running down the stairs a little.

"morning papa, mama, sister Adit.." said Vania excitedly as she walked over to them for breakfast together.

"dear baby, aren't you in college?" ask Papa Vania when her son is in the chair.

"empty pa" Vania replied casually as she smeared chocolate jam onto her toast

"dita Ditaya ever call you?" ask papa Vania

"now rare pa, it's been two days he has no news. Maybe he was busy, Vania also did not dare to contact him first.and he also suddenly took a leave of absence from college on the grounds of what is a very important family affair" said Vania weakened

"father wants to tell you something, but promise me you will accept everything patiently and calmly, lest you end up hurting yourself" said papa Vania trying to convince her daughter.

The dining table is so quiet. Even Adit stopped his breakfast because he saw the serious face of his father. Mr. Firman took a deep breath before starting the story.

"actually Ditya lied to you"

"you mean papa?" asked Vania surprised

"it's no family business whatsoever. He is sick now and he is being treated in the ICU Healthy Hospital room because until now he has not been aware"

"ill? what pain pa? papa lied, right? Ditya never told anything with Vania" said Vania sobbed

"that's why he never told me. He doesn't want you to be sad. He has advanced brain cancer. Doctors predict that the hope of recovery is only 20%"

Vania's cry broke out, she began to be unable to control her emotions. He was so shocked to hear from his father. Bu Karina who saw her daughter looked stressed even more sad.

"Vania is going to the hospital now" Vania said

Mr. Firman held his son's wrist to appease his daughter "you calm down, baby, not have you promised to be calm and patient"

"how can Vania calm down while Ditya there is dying"

"Dear dear, papa just wants you not to stress because of this problem. You're papa's only daughter, papa doesn't want anything to happen to you"

Vania was weakened by her papa's words. He sat back in his chair. Her tears endlessly drenched her smooth cheeks.

"spend your breakfast first, after that mom will take you to the hospital" said papa Vania softly

"Vania has no appetite"

"papa won't let you go before you finish your breakfast" said papa firmly, but in a subtle tone. He did not want to hurt his son more with harsh words.

Vania had to obey her papa's orders. With a heavy heart he finished his breakfast. He swallowed the bread almost without chewing

Vania and her mother are escorted by their private driver to the hospital.

The journey to the hospital took almost two hours.while in the car, Vania still continued to cry. He was devastated by what happened to Ditya. He could not imagine the pain his lover was feeling.

Arriving at the hospital, the mother and child got out of the car and headed to the lobby to inquire about the ICU room where Ditya was being treated.

They boarded the elevator to the 5th floor of the hospital after getting information from the lobby officer.

On the floor there are only a few large rooms. The room looked like a special room for patients from the hospital's family.

Vania ran away from her mother after seeing Ditya's mother sitting down in the waiting room of the ICU room.

"Mom." call Vania as she approaches Wati's mom

"Vania, who are you?" tanya Bu Wati who saw Vania looked worried.

"Vania with mom, mom. He'll be here soon"

Soon after, Karina walked up to them.

"How's mom doing?" tanya Vania held the hand of her future in-laws

"he's still unconscious son" replied Ms. Wati slowly. The sadness was clearly visible on his face.

"i want to see her mom" Vania said in tears

"you calm down, baby" said Karina, stroking her daughter's back.

"yes son, you are accompanying him inside. We are not allowed to enter more than one person"

Vania nodded following the direction of her future in-laws. They waited for Mr. Yanto to leave the room by sitting in the waiting room.
