Lucky Woman to be your wife

The car carrying Devan and Vania had arrived at the hospital after getting a short message from mother Karina.

Vania got out of the car and ran through the hospital corridor to her papa treatment room.

Devan who was feeling worried about the girl immediately chased after from behind.

"mama, where's papa ma?" vania asked worriedly when she saw her mother outside the room crying.

"papa is still being treated by the doctor inside, baby" replied mama Karin with tears.

Vania sat in the front waiting chair of the room, covering her face with both hands in tears.

Shortly after, Adit came with half a run to the three people in front of his room.

"what's going on, Ma, Van?" ask Adit to worry. But mama Karin did not answer, she just looked at her son with tears.

Adit was confused because he did not get an answer from the two women.

"calm down, the doctor is working on him inside" Devan said, patting Adit on the shoulder.

The four of them were waiting outside with a feeling of anxiety. Shortly after, the door opened. A doctor came out of the room making everyone there walk over.

"how is my husband doing, Doc?" ask mama Karin.

"the patient is still unconscious, he is too tired to cause his breathing to be disturbed, as a result of which his lungs cannot work optimally. And I apologize with the weight of my heart to convey the inflammation of the lungs experienced by patients with severe damage"

Vania and Mama Karin cried at the doctor's explanation. While Adit just rubbed his face rough while continuing to beristighfar.

"i recommend that patients be transferred to a larger hospital to get better treatment because the equipment here is not complete to deal with his disease" added the doctor.

"thank you doc" said Adit weakly

"well, excuse me first then" said the doctor leaving them.

" sister, how about we go to Healthy Hospital, there the equipment is complete and the specialist who handles Oom Firman is also there" Devan suggested.

"yes it's right said son Devan, Dit" said Mama Karin.

"well, mom and Vania are with you first, I'll take care of the administration here, and Devan, please help me contact the hospital to get everything ready" said Adit, who is owned by Devan.

Adit rushed to the administration room to take care of the transfer of his papa. Devan called a lung specialist at Healthy Hospital and asked him to prepare everything.

Half an hour later Mr. Firman is ready to be transferred to Healthy Hospital.

Devan was still patiently accompanying the family member who was being overwhelmed with grief.

Arriving at the destination hospital, Kevin's doctor who became a lung specialist immediately handled his patients.

"how's my dad doc?" adit asked as Dr Kevin walked out of the room

"patients are already better off after getting existing aids. We'll move him to the treatment room soon"

"move it into the VVIP space over the dock" Devan said, which was like a command. The room was a special VVIP room for the families of the shareholders.

The doctor nodded too. No one dared to dispute the orders of the man who had the highest office in the hospital.

The patient is transferred to the room requested by Devan. The room was quite large and lucky not the ICU room as when Ditya was treated first so that the four of them could wait inside.

"Adit, you go home and rest first, pity Renata should you stay" Mama Karin said to Adit.

"sister, I'll accompany them, I can take care of them. Go home, pity your wife" said Devan.

"son Devan is right, Renata is pregnant, mama does not want him to be stressed and a lot of thoughts, because it will result in her pregnancy. I'm sure she's worried right now" Mama said

"alright" said Adit, "thank you for all your help, I'm leaving my family. Tomorrow morning I'll be back" he continued patting Devan on the shoulder.

Devan nodded with a gentle smile followed by Adit's departure.

"Tante must be tired, rest first.I will take care of him" said Devan.

"aunty still wants to accompany aunty's husband"

"i understand, but aunty also has to take care of health. Don't let the aunt get sick and can't take care of Oom"

"alright, auntie will sleep a while" said Mama Karin because Devan's words have a point. He raised his body on the couch in the room. And it didn't take long for him to fall asleep because it was late at night.

Devan walked over to Vania who was sitting next to her papa bed. The girl continued to cry and clasped her papa's hand.

"Van, go to sleep, don't get you sick" said Devan gently.

Vania just shook her head without looking.

"Listen to me" said Devan forcing Vania gently to turn her head and look at him. Vania took her hand off her papa.

"you have shed enough tears today, you must rest. Let me take care of your work permit tomorrow" Devan said softly.

Vania's tears just getting louder to hear the words of Vania. The girl was so fragile, even her eyes were slightly swollen from crying.

"i'm afraid." she said with a shoulder that shook from crying.

Devan wiped the tears on Vania's cheek with both of her thumbs. He held both hands of the girl. It was as if it was giving vigor and channeling its energy for the girl to calm down.

"believe everything will be fine" said Devan softly.

Vania felt calm after hearing the words from Devan. He also wanted to rest even if it was only a few hours.

Dawn turned upside down, Mama Karin started to open her eyes and woke up. He saw Devan who had helped him a lot was still awake and patiently sitting next to the patient's bed. He also approached the young man.

"Son, thank you so much for everything" said Mama Karin staring fixedly at Devan.

"aunty, Oom Firman is like my parents. You don't have to be shy" Devan said.

"you're so good, lucky the woman who's gonna be your wife... Sorry if my aunt's daughter wasted you first"

"auntie, don't be like that. I just felt lucky yesterday to be home with Vania. If not, I may never know what happened"

Mama Karina smiled proudly at the man before her.

"alright, aunty pray at dawn first, after that you can go home to rest" said Mama Karin, who was embraced by Devan.

Devan said goodbye to mother Karin after the middle-aged woman finished praying.

After Devan's departure, Mama Karin wakes up Vania.

Vania who was initially confused because she did not see the existence of Devan finally understood after getting an answer from her mother. He woke up and rushed to take ablution for prayer because time was running out.
