Devan came home early from the company. Arriving at home, he rushed to the woman he missed. She saw the woman standing in front of the cupboard picking up a few pieces of her clothes to move into the suitcase after getting word from her husband that today they were going back to their homeland.
"Not done yet, which?" devan asked, hugging his wife from behind.
"Eh, you're home, Mom... Just finished kog" said Vania.
Devan let go of his embrace. Not wanting to continue to interfere with his wife's activities, he turned to the bathroom to clean himself.
After getting word of her flight, Devan and Vania say goodbye to both her parents before leaving home. Mother Goddess looked sad because she had to separate back in with her son and daughter-in-law. But he can't be selfish. Now his son has a big responsibility for his small family.
Arriving in Jakarta, Devan immediately prepared funds that he would use to solve the problems of his project in London. He sends some money from his savings and Vania to be sent to his father's account.
In the evening Devan returned with his activities as a husband. He accompanied his wife in the room to just chat before the two went to sleep. Vania is seen sitting leaning against the chest of her husband's field who is sitting leaning on the back of the bed while stroking his wife's long hair.
"Mas, may I ask you something?" ask Vania in the middle of her chat.
"What?"
"I want to stay in the main house, okay?"
Devan was silent at his wife's request. He felt strange about what Vania said. Not usually his wife suddenly asked for something.
"Mas... Why silence?" tanya Vania looked up her face so she could see her husband.
"Emm... Are you sure? Why are you suddenly asking to move?"
"Know it...The main house is empty, no one has left. Why the hell? Can't you?" ask Vania.
"Can, baby. Whatever you ask as long as I can still. But what about this house? Doesn't this house hold a lot of memories for us?"
Vania turned her body and sat up straight to her husband.
"Mas... What does a memory mean? our real life will be much more important than a memory. The important thing is that we are always together and happy. No matter where we are, we will always keep a memory" Vania said. "If it's about this house, we can sell it" he continued.
"Sells?" devan asked, feeling strange.
"Yes"
"The dear, who. We don't need money either. After all, the savings money that was left after I counted even though it was not much" Devan replied hesitantly.
"Why, baby, my mom? We need money for my medication and my pregnancy program. Don't you want me to get pregnant?" ask Vania in a soft voice at the end of her question sentence.
"Sttt" Devan placed his index finger on Vania's lips as a signal to stop her from saying that again. "Don't ask that question again, which. I accept whatever your circumstances. The child is a blessing from God. If indeed we are not destined to have it, we can adopt a baby. That's also if you want. About following the pregnancy program, anything I would do if you wanted to. But remember... I've never forced and sued you for any of this. I love you sincerely and I will never leave you in any circumstances" Devan said with a gentle look of honesty.
Vania smiled until her tears were welled up in her eyes. He hugged the burly body that is now the back of his life.
"I will follow your request. We're gonna move into the main house and sell this house. Regarding Mr. Amin and Ms. Tini, I will ask them to move to work in the main house as well" Devan said, kissing the tip of his wife's head.
"Thank you, mas" he said.
"Yes now let's go to sleep, you must be tired" said Devan who then took off his embrace.
*****
Devan was watching his laptop screen in the office. He was in contact with his father's men who gave reports of irregularities in his project.
"Well, thank you, dad. Assalamualaikum" said Devan ended the conversation.
"Waalaikumsalam" replied Satria's father.
"Ronald, please come to my room immediately" he ordered briefly by phone.
It didn't take long for the door to be knocked from outside. That's the sign Ronald is already standing there.
"Get in" Devan orders Ronald who is knocking on the door.
Ronald opened the door slowly and stepped into his superior's room.
"Sit down" Devan orders Ronald. "Have you investigated the cause of all this?" he continued asking
"Already, sir. And this has to do with Mr. Leo. I'm sure there are insiders who betrayed us and cooperated with Galileo Corporation"
"Are you sure?"
"That's sure, sir. Lots of leads that lead there"
"All right then. I assigned you to go to London to take care of everything. Immediately send our people to look for evidence of the rottenness of the b*ingan and who has worked with him so that we can immediately throw them in prison" devan said holding back emotions considering Leo's cunning who wants to destroy him.
"well, boss" replied Ronald firmly.
Ronald returns to his room to contact his wife and book a ticket to arrange his flight schedule. Not wanting to buy too much time, he immediately went home to prepare. For him sooner it is better for Maslaah to be finished sooner.
Devan, who was in his room, was waiting for information from his man who was assigned to report Leo's movements.
drrt....
Vibration sound on Devan's phone. This time not from his man. Except for his wife.
"Assalamualaikum, dear" Devan said as she raised the call from her husband.
"Vaalaikumsalam. Where's mas?" asked Vania sounding worried.
"I'm in the office, baby. What was? Your voice sounds unusual"
"That's... Mr. Amin said outside there were two strange people who from this morning standing in front of the fence did not go away" said Vania while peeking at the figure in question from behind the window curtains in her room.
"All men?" ask Devan to make sure.
"Yes, wear a mask with sunglasses. The moves are suspicious, mas. I'm scared"
"Yes, you are calm. Stay inside and don't leave the house. Tell Mr. Amin not to open the gate. I'll be home soon and send the guards to stand guard"
"Good, mas. Yes, I closed first. Assalamualaikum"
"Girishama".
Devan put his phone back on his desk. He snorted in annoyance holding back his anger.
"It's not wrong, Leo must be the culprit. The Ba*ingan had already interfered too much in my household" furious Devan clenched his hand.
Devan reused the suit he had hung on his chair. He grabbed the keys to his car and cell phone on the table, then stepped away from his room.
"Lia, I'm going home. Call me if there's anything important" she said when she saw Lia.
"Good, sir"
