Give me some warmth

Devan went back to his room. He entered without knocking on the door. She saw Lia sitting with Vania on the sofa in her room.

Lia who saw the arrival of her superior immediately stood up and slightly bowed her body saluted.

"I'm sorry, sir" said Lia and went out of her boss' room after getting a nod and a thank you.

Devan approached his wife who was already starting to improve. He held the slim body in his arms. Trying to give peace to his beloved wife.

"I'm here, baby, just calm down. Everything will be fine" said Devan stroking his back and kissing Vania's head.

"I'm scared, mas. I don't want to see her anymore" Vania said on the sidelines of her terrified cries.

Devan let go of his embrace and wiped away the tears that ran down his wife's cheeks. It covers both cheeks of Vania. "Alright, we go home, yes" he asked gently and was quickly taken in by Vania.

Devan lands a kiss on Vania's forehead. He expressed affection and concern for his wife. He did not want the woman he loved to be depressed because of fear.

"We go home together. Just leave the key in the lobby, later let the car there intersect" said Devan while hooking his fingers between Vania's fingers.

Arriving at home, Devan told his wife to take a break. While he will finish his work in the workspace next to his room.

It's been two hours Devan's busied himself with his work. He returned to the room with a worried face. He approached his sleeping wife.

"Yang" he said slowly while shaking his wife's arm slowly to wake up.

Vania who was disturbed by her sleep tried to open her eyes. "Emm..What's wrong?" asked Vania in a hoarse voice.

"I have to get to London. And I want you to come with me" Devan said gently with a pushy expression.

"Why so suddenly, mom?" asked Vania who felt strange at her husband's sudden request.

"The project of building a new building in London is having problems, dear. And papa asked me to come right away. I can't leave you alone here. I'll feel safe with you when you're with me. You can meet your mother anyway. Mother has missed you so much"

Vania got up from her sleep and sat down. He fixed his messy hair by twisting it.

"Well, when do we leave? And how long have we been there?"

"Fastly, baby. We'll leave soon. And for how long I can't be sure. That's why you have to come with me. I've contacted Ronald to have the pilots prepare for our flight" said Devan, who was worried and anxious.

"I'll be ready soon, mas" said Vania who then stood rushing towards the bathroom.

The long journey that has taken hours makes Vania have to rest her body that seems crumbling because it is not used to it. Luckily he lived with his in-laws who loved him very much and welcomed his return well.

Upon arrival at his parents' mansion, Devan decides to go to the construction site directly with his father. While Vania he lived with the Mother Goddess.

Finished reviewing the location, Devan and his father headed to the company to discuss the next plan.

"How can it all be like this, pa?" devan asked as he sat in his room with Satria's father.

"Why is everything so sudden, pa. Even though two days before Uncle Rehan had told me if there were no obstacles whatsoever" said Devan. He began to rack his brain. "Something seems wrong. There is someone who wants to destroy this project" he continued.

"If our project stops only here, our losses will be huge. We better continue with the capital increase. If everything is under control, then we'll find out who's behind all this." Rich Satria's father gave advice to his son.

"Papa's right. But I can't afford to spend any more money, let alone a very large amount" Devan said anxiously.

"Why do you have to worry about funds, Papa can take care of it. Papa has indeed given up all business affairs with you. But that doesn't mean you'll just be quiet to see you in trouble like this"

"No, Pa. It's Devan's dream big project. Devan wants to overcome everything himself" said Devan rejecting the subtle solution from his father. " Devan will drain the savings, while the lack of Devan will think about it" he continued, flicking his hair back.

"Well, we better go home. You also have to rest first" take Satria's father to Devan.

"I'm gonna take a quick shower to refresh my mind, Dad" Devan said.

"Yes, I'll be waiting for you in Uncle Rehan's room. Call me when it's done. We go home together" said Satria's father who then stepped out of the room after getting an answer from his son.

Arriving at the mansion, Devan headed straight to his room where his wife was.

"Assalamualaikum" said Devan to Vania after entering the room.

"Waalaikumsalam..why lethargy, mas? Is the problem so heavy?" vania asked sadly when she saw her husband's lethargic face coming home from the company.

Vania walked over taking over the bag and suit that was in her husband's hands. He put the things on the sofa table in the room.

Devan nodded and sat on the edge of the bed for a moment after taking off his shoes.

"Honey, come here" he called his wife.

"What's wrong?" ask Vania to walk closer.

"Sit here" Devan said, patting her thighs, asking Vania to sit on her lap.

Vania followed her husband's request. Without hesitation Devan wrapped his hands around his wife's waist and buried his face in her chest.

"Why, mas?" vania asked gently while stroking her husband's hair.

"Let this be a moment. I need this hug. I feel comfortable and calm like this" Devan said without turning his face away.

Vania no longer answered. She let her husband stay in his position to get the comfort he wanted.

Almost half an hour Devan hasn't moved from his position. Vania who was worried about her husband's situation tried to ventured back to ask.

"Are you going to stay like this? I'll make you a warm drink to calm your mind" asked Vania gently.

Devan raised his head to look at his wife's face. "At a time like this I just need you, who. Give me some warmth" Devan said intently. I don't know why his confused mind makes his lust peak when smelling his wife's body.

"If it's able to calm your mind, fine" said Vania slowly.

Without warning Devan immediately invaded the lips of his wife. Vania who was shocked by her husband's sudden action just rounded her eyes. But a moment later she began to enjoy and return the kiss of her husband's unusual lips by closing her eyes.
