It has been a week since Devan's departure to Kalimantan. The man had not given the slightest news to his wife for seven days and Vania was not so excited to undergo his activities at the restaurant.
Vania who just came home from the restaurant sat on the floor of her room while staring at Devan's photo on her phone screen. She wanted to call her husband's number directly, but she deleted it three years ago. He only kept his mother and brother's number when he left Jakarta.
Vania opens the social media Devan has. But just the same, the man seemed to have left no trace during the past week.
Vania is getting riled up. There was a fear of Devan leaving and forgetting about it. A moment of tears trickling down was accompanied by the shock of his body that was quite strong due to fear and anxiety.
Missing and anxious. Yeah, that's what's coming to his mind.
The only thing he could ask for was Ronald. But Vania had no access to the man.
Vania threw her body on the foam mattress of her room. He lay on his stomach and buried his face in the pillow he used to sleep on. His crying voice was heard increasingly sobbing because he was no longer able to withstand the tightness in his chest.
She faintly heard a ringing call from her cell phone. He had no intention of seeing and raising the call because he believed it was impossible for Devan to do it.
The ringing sound continued to sound unanswered by the recipient until it was no longer heard. Vania doesn't care about the situation around her. He continued in his position without moving a bit with tears that had soaked his pillow.
The sound of the ringing call for the third time made Vania look up at her face. He tried to reach for the cell phone lying next to his bed.
Voice call from new number. That's what Vania tried to read. Vania shifted the green button and placed the phone in her ear without making a sound.
"Hallo dear, Assalamualaikum"
A very familiar voice sounded in his ears. Sontak makes Vania get up and sit down.
"Waalaikumsalam, mas" replied Vania with a still sobbing voice and increasingly heavy tears.
"Hey, what's wrong with you?" devan asked sounding worried and anxious.
"Nothing. Why the new phone?"
"Sorry, sweetheart. My phone fell and broke. So I'll have to wait to get it fixed first and get in touch with you"
"Why not buy new"
"I could've bought a new one, honey. All my work data can also be moved on a new phone. But what about you? your number is stored in my phone memory. I can't just let it go without knowing how you are"
"You're not lying, are you?"
"When I lied to you, baby. Now tell me. What the hell happened to you? why does your voice sound like you're crying?"
"Nothing. I just feel a little tired working" Vania told a lie.
"You sick? you shouldn't be too tired"
"No"
"Why do we cry?"
"I don't do anything, ma'am" replied Vania as if forcing her husband to stop asking.
"Alright then pick up my Videoku call"
Vania stared at her phone screen. Sure enough, Devan changed his call to video. However Vania ignored and rejected him. He didn't want Devan to see him cry. It was too embarrassing for her if her husband knew she was crying because she missed him.
"Why was he rejected? I want to see you, yang".
"That's it, mas"
"You why the hell? Are you angry with me? I don't want to pick up my video calls"
"No, mas. I_____"
"Alright" replied Vania lazily. He stared at his phone screen and changed his call to video.
"Why is your face invisible. Set up your camera correctly" Devan said because when the video call is connected he can only see walls and bed linen.
Vania moves her phone camera until her face can be reached by Devan's vision.
"Well, that's dong. I can see my wife's face" Devan said with a smile. "Hey wait, why are your eyes swollen? your nose is also flushed. You really did cry, right?" devan continued.
hearing Devan's question, Vania again shed her tears.
"What's wrong with you, baby?"
"I miss you. You haven't called me this week" Vania replied shamelessly again. He grew sobbing when he said it.
Devan smiled happily at Vania's reply. He felt anxious about Vania's spoiled behavior that he had longed for.
"I'm sorry, honey. The work here is almost done. I promise I'll pick you up soon and take you home"
"When?"
"I can't be sure yet, baby. But definitely in the near future. Don't cry anymore, don't make me not focus here because I keep thinking about you"
"Don't disappear without any more news"
"Yes, honey. Now rest, it's night. I'll call you back tomorrow".
"Yes, Assalamualaikum"
"Girishal"
Vania was relieved after getting a call from her husband. Now he can sleep soundly without having to think about fear again.

While in a faraway place, Devan grinned himself after contacting his wife. A haru and happy feeling was felt in his heart after hearing Vania's confession. He did not expect three years more apart to make his wife more spoiled and bucin.
"I really can't wait for the day after tomorrow to pick you up, baby" Devan said staring at a photo of his wife's wallpaper on his phone screen.

As promised, Devan always contacts his wife in his spare time. Although only limited to chatting asking for activities and activities undertaken by Vania.
The next morning Vania headed to the restaurant by driving a taxi because the motorcycle tyre was deflated. Today he does not need to go to the mall to pick up Juna because Sherin has brought him first to the restaurant.
"Today not to the branch resto?" ask Vania to Sherin.
"No, I want to spend time here with Juna. Tired if you have to be a hero" replied Sherin
"Hahaha.tumben Lo knows as tired. Lo inget did not first get pregnant Juna, still going to and fro nyetir own montau restaurant branch. Until finally Lo makes me learn to drive let me all take care of Lo" said Vania considering her struggle when she first lived in the city of Juna's birth.
Sherin laughed when she heard it. He used to be desperately maksa his best friend so that he could be a driver and bodyguard for him who was pregnant. And now, it can be said that even Vania is more proficient in controlling the motor vehicle than Sherin.
They exchanged stories while laughing considering the events of Juna's pregnancy.
"Mommy, Juna wants an eskim mami" said Juna pulling the tip of Sherin's shirt to stop the two beautiful women's laughter.
"Oh, my gosh, I forgot to forget my handsome son" he said, wiping off the tip of his eyes that were slightly wet from being too engrossed in laughter. "Sir, please bring Juna a small bowl of ice cream yes" he said to one of his employees.
"Good, Mom"
