Chapter 8. Ponakan Adi's

Today was a tiring day for me because of college from morning to evening. After college I was surprised by a beautiful little girl playing with her nanny. But he seemed indifferent because he didn't seem to get along easily with new people. 

"Hi..." My greeting to the girl.

He ran into my new neighbor's house.

Since she did not greet me back and entered her house, I went straight into my house and asked Mama who the child was.

The little boy ran to his house and I knew his name was Queen. 

"R..." Call Mom from inside the house.

"Yes Ma?" My answer was to go straight into the house.

"Wait you to wash the dishes.. Mama wants to fall first. Tired." 

"Okee I'll wash the dishes. I finished the milk, huha..." 

Not long arrived - until Aunt Ratna came to bring the food she cooked.

I saw Aunt Ratna coming with the Queen who clung directly to Aunt Ratna.

"Thank you aunt...." I answered while taking the food from the hand of aunt Ratna.

I also took my doll that I did not wear, I gave it to the Queen. He took it and smiled.

"Queen." She smiled and ran home.

Aunt Ratna immediately rushed to run when her grandson ran fast.

When Mama and I were enjoying a meal suddenly there was the Queen's voice outside calling out to me, "Sister Riri..." Shouts his little voice.

I'm kind of surprised because this kid looks so hard to get close to people, just because I give him a doll he can immediately greet me like this. I also got out of the house.

"Yeah?" Answer me slowly.

"What does the queen want to play?" I asked while smiling. 

"Main home - home." Answer with a smile.

"So yuk to dalem. There are a lot of mosquitoes here..." I answered while holding her hand. 

The queen followed me and entered my house. He just sat and played my doll and my other dolls. When Maghrib Om Budi summoned the Queen from the outside.

"Queen Azzahra..." Shouted Om Budi from the front of the fence of my house.

The Queen immediately stood up and greeted her Grandfather.

"Yuk's home, I want maghrib. Tomorrow again play it.." Said Om Budi who was standing at the door of my house.

"Yeah Gaek..." Answer with nurut.

Gaek it's in Minang language that I know means Grandpa.

"Pamit used to be with Ka Riri..." Said Om Budi.

"Ka... The queen's back, yeah..." The Queen said with a smile.

"Yeah.. Be careful, yeah..." Answer me with a smile.

"Tomorrow we'll play again..." The Queen said again.

The Queen came home in Om Budi's arms. I also went straight into the house.

Since there was a Queen, my mother went straight into the room just peeking out of the room to see me playing with the Queen.
