Chapter 65. Proposal

Month 9 was entered, the 1st is Adi's birthday. On my birthday yesterday in 2018, Adi just gave a cake without any gifts and surprises. He even started out unlike his usual years. So nothing special. And this time it was his birthday. 

"Happy birthday dear..." I said in the middle of the night via chat.

"Thank you, my future wife..." Reply Adi quickly.

"Amiii.." 

"Deg - with tomorrow.." Adi said.

Yes, we're applying on September 2nd tomorrow. We don't want to be too far away from our wedding, because we have an event plan in late November.

"Bismillah ya Ka.. Hope our show is good tomorrow." 

"Amiin amiin and Rabbal Alamiin..." 

"I'm telling you not how much Ka.." 

"Father dear... No gift should be given, either..." 

"I've prepared a gift for Ka Adi.. I will love you in the morning. Tomorrow is the show.."

"Okee darling..."

The day of application has arrived. I was ready in the dandani early in the morning after the Fajr Prayer. With long-sleeved blue colored shirt and longdress. Wrapped in a scarf on the head, my makeup is not like a Javanese proposal. On the day of my application and Adi did not exchange rings but exchanged goods. I gave Blangkon Jawa, while Adi gave Songket Minang. 

"R.. I'm so moved by time.." Viennese law looks at me while glazed.

I smile.

"Finally you're in Lamar as well as Adi." Vienna.

"Alhamdulillah yes.." I answered while holding back my tears. 

Whether I have to cry happy or sad, which is definitely the day that I was more happy because I saw both my parents, both Adi's parents and all the family were also happy that day. Lots of jokes and laughter. May this be the beginning of goodness and may all be made easy until H day. 

Adi nodded while smiling happily. 

"So Riri Saputri received Adi Wiranda's proposal?" Ask the host.

"God willing with the permission of Allah SWT, I received Adi's proposal..." I answered while nodding and shaking. 

"Alhamdulillah, for both parents the bride-to-be is welcome to change the sign. From Adi's side give a sign to Riri's side and then from Riri's side give a sign to Adi's side..." Sahut The Host.

Mr and Mama also gave the sign Blangkon Jawa to Om Budi and Aunt Ratna, then Om Budi and Aunt Ratna gave Songket Minang to Mama and Father. 

"Alhamdulillah... In the photo please....Let us pray for the smooth running of Adi and Riri's wedding day.. Amin aamiin YaRabbal Alamiiiinnn....After this the show has finished and all can eat then between the families can get to know each other..." Close the Host. 

We all prayed, including Adi and I. Finished praying, Adi and I took photos outside to capture our application for the day. How happy I was and how happy I was that day. I feel I will be ready to be a wife for Adi after this, I am ready to make Adi better, I am ready to continue learning to be better.  

After the application was over, all the Adi family came home and thanked me for the treats that my family had served. 

"Later to chat I'll see how the food tastes.." My whisper. 

Adi just gave a thumbs up. 

Then some of my family also say goodbye to home and some are still staying at home to help me, Mama and Father clean up the house. 

"R.. Is that the way it is?" Ask the Father while sitting relaxed after tired of the event.

"What is the way, sir?" Ask wonder.

"Yes yes.. There are no tukeran rings. Keep this Adi family no penniless love loh..." Said the Father again with a disappointed face. 

"Perhaps after the same Father Mama met directly four of them with Gaek and Andung Pak.." I was kind of defending Adi's family back then. 

"Yeah maybe sir, we don't know how they are. It is impossible that they do not love money at all.. Moreover, Adi S2, continues what I know first Mr. Budi is an official loh..." Sahut Mama's. 

"Yes, after we meet the parents.." Said the Father nodding. 

I smiled as my Mom and Dad understood. Hopefully after this the Adi family immediately gave money for the smooth running of our wedding.
