Chapter 24. My 20th Birthday

Today is special for me. I just want a little story on my 20th birthday. In 2014, it wasn't Adi who gave me a surprise but Dhito. After a long time I and Dhito broke up, he suddenly called me again to ask me how I was doing. He called me just a week before my birthday. 

"R.. How are you?" Ask Dhito in chat. 

"Yeah Dhit.. Alhamdulillah good. Why Dhit?" I reply quickly.

"Father.. We haven't had communication in a long time... Let's get some news."

"Ohh hehehe.. How's Dhit doing?" 

"Thank you, I'm also good with Ri... Ri.. Can I have a photo?" 

"What's Dhit made of?" 

"There's.." 

"What do you want to do? I'll look the same as you." 

"Hahaah uh geer. Give me a clear photo of you..." 

"No need to ah."

Then I sent out some clear photos so that Dhito could choose.

"Where is the campus?"

"The house of Ri. So it's not too far home."

A week passed, back again. Today is my 20th birthday. The Princess usually makes yellow rice for my birthday. 

"Happy birthday, my dear grandson...." The princess who came to the house brought me yellow rice.

"Thank you for the eye." I answered with a series.

"This is made in yellow rice, brought to campus for your friends too." 

"Alhamdulillah... Thank you, eyang..." Mom walked out the door.

"It's a lot of eyeballs..." I answered while opening the dining room.

"Ehh... Temen - your friend is a lot of Ri.." Sahut Mama's.

"Yes anyway.. This will eat the most together - together on campus." I replied while closing the place to eat from the eyes.

"Yaudah, I'm leaving ya..." I answered while salim eyang and mama.

"Not the same Adi?" Ask Princess Eyang.

"Si Adi said birthday is not the same as you?" Ask Princess Eyang.

"R..." From the front of the fence, I called out to you.

"Yeah Sir... Assalamualaikum Ma's... Eyang's..." I answered and said goodbye to Mama and Eyang.

"Moskalamic. Be careful Ri.." Mama and Eyang Putri answered. 

I also passed away leaving Mama and Eyang Putri.

"Are you late?" Ask the father when I get in the car.

"Sir Sir. God willing." 

He immediately gasped so that I was not late to campus.

"Hi guys." My best friend in class.

"Hi Ri's.." The answer is only Mily. 

I sat down and prepared to start college. And after the lecture was over, I gave yellow rice from the princess's eyes.

"Guys, I was brought yellow rice. It's made to eat rame - rame." I said as I opened the dining room.

"What's Ri doing?" Ask Fily.

Either they all pretend not to know or it's true to forget that today is my birthday. But I think they are kidding.

"Yes, make a big thanks." Reply relax.

"What size?" Ask Sera.

"Thanks Alhamdulillahhh..." I answered while breathing.

"It's not clear you." Sissy Sahut.

"Udah ah this is eating, let's go together." I answered while thrusting the yellow rice into them.

"Eh eat it, pity it has made it for us." Mily said with a high tone.

"Why what?" Ask Aira.

"This is what makes yellow rice for us. I miss the same eyeang tauu.." Answer Sera.

"Yaa main laah can. All thanks..." My answer.

"What is the size of Ri? Do you want to be with Adi?" Ask Mily like she's being teased.

"Well, Mil..." My answer is glaring.

Mily just laughed out loud.

After the campus activities were over, we all went to my house except Resty. He is always absent if he goes or plays at the house of one of us. 

"Assalamualaikum House.." Greet Mily as she gets out of the car.

"Mily Walaikumsalam... Oh beautiful..."Sahut Eyang Putri's.

"Ahhh masaa eyed? Eyang is also beautiful. Who how are you?" Mily asked while embracing and grasping his hands.

"Alhamdulillah healthy. Mily?"

"Wahh eyang see myself dong my body is now more fertile... The sign is very healthy.. Haha..." Mily replied with a laugh.

"Let's go in guys." Take me to all my friends.

"Ri.. in the deck of your house there is no stall?" Ask Fily.

"There's a way, in front of the road there's a mini market too." I answered while pointing towards the road.

"No, I, Tami, Yanti and Mily here Fil." Answer Sera.

"Judek.. Just a little..." Fily said then went with Air, Sissy and Viana. 

I also prepared drinks and snacks for them in the kitchen. 

"Ri. ready - ready everything... That was mama buying fried food for them." My mother helped me prepare a treat. 

"Suk yuk all... This auntie makes orange syrup." Mom from the door. 

"Yeah aunt.. This is another great time to take rambutan. There's still red - red because of auntie.." Sera Sahut.

"Yeahofgod.. Yaudah, this drink is just like a snack.." Mama said and put it on the guest table. 

Before long Fily, Aira, Sissy and Viana came up with a laugh.

"What did you buy?" Askaqua.

"Snacks.. Nih." Said Fily who immediately put out the contents of the food in plastic.

"Yeahofgod... So much." Sahut Yanti with sparkling eyes - twinkle. 

"R... Can I ask for help?" Asked Mily who called me under the rambutan tree.

"Why Mil?" Tanyaku.

"This helps me hold the rambutan." 

I also try to help Mily with focus. For about 30 minutes of picking rambutan from the tree, Mily and I entered my house.

"Yeayyyy.." said Sissy welcome me and Mily.

"The children do not know themselves.. My turn has taken a lot, you're good at eating!" Mily said with a high tone.

"Ihh Mami sorry..." Sissy answered with a plain face.

"Hahahaha. And jude ate.... I'm taking it for a rame-rame meal."

"Sweet as real." Viana Sahut.

"Emang sweet haahhaha.. I've been to bosen eating rambutan at home. Just a lot of ants..." I answered while laughing.

"Sorry, there is no heavy food, only fried food. Riri is having a birthday..." Sahut Mama who arrived - came to me and my friends in the living room.

"Father aunt...." Sahut everything simultaneously.

"Thank you for coming home...." My solute.

"Damf... We're gonna see you..." Answer Mily.

"Yes, yes.." I answered while nodding.

After 2 hours of talking and laughing, they were allowed to come home with me.

"R... It's afternoon. We're going back..." Sahut Fily's. 

"Okees.. Thanks for playing in my house.." Answer me with a smile.

Even though they don't give me suprise, I know they're just pretending to forget so they play my house. 

"The Happy Birthday Riri..." Sera shouted from behind me. 

I turned my head and was surprised to see Sera already holding a birthday cake with a lit candle. Then they all sang happy birthday songs to me together. I was shocked when they all gave me a surprise. Then I blew out the candle and arrived, "Prakkkk."

"Yaampuuunnn..." I shouted out loud. 

Fily threw an egg over my head, not just 1 egg even 3 eggs. Then Sissy and Viana poured the koi powder on my head as well as the wheat flour. So full is my head and so sticky in my hair. 

"Originally, I can't open these eyes.." I'm still yelling.

I also ran after my friends to get a fishy smell on my body. 

"Jangaan Ri's.. We'll still get home in the car." Shouted Mily while running. 

"Don't chase me Rii.. I brought you a cake." Sera Sahut.

"Don't I don't.." Yanti shouted as I ran towards her. 

"Udah yaa guys... Thanks for this surprise." I replied while holding the fishy smell.

"Udah let's go home..." Sahut Fily's.

Mama and Eyang Putri only laughed when they saw me like that. 

"Eh cleanin me first ya new you guys can go home.." My solute.

"Yes yes we flush you first let's not fishy." Aira Sahut.

Finally they helped clean my body until completely missing traces of eggs, coffee powder and flour. 

"Udah now you get into the bath. That fishy smell should be 3 baths tau Ri.." Said Fily.

"Yes, we go home, Ri.. We're still in the morning tomorrow." Aira Sahut. 

"Thank you, I'm still tired and smelly gini you guys come home hahahahaha..." I answered while laughing.

"Yailalahh.. The cake for Riri is already in the refrigerator simple yes...." Tami Sahut.

"Thank you guys... Love you all..." Answer me with a smile.

They all let me leave and I rushed into the bathroom to clean myself up. I bathed for 1 hour more so that the fishy smell, the sticky coffee and flour was gone and clean from my body. After I finished the shower, my phone rang loudly.

"Hello.." Answer me on the phone.

"Hello Assalamualaikum Ri's... Lo where?" It was Vienna who contacted me. 

"Goddessalam... I'm at home Win. Why?" I answered while drying my hair with a towel.

"OK on..." Answer Vienna briefly.

"Well, Win.. You want to go home?" 

"Yes, I'm going to Lo Ri's house.."

"Are you coming to my house at this hour?" I asked while looking at the clock on the wall.

"Yesa yaudah yaa.. Assalamualaikum."

"It's not clear whether you.... Yaudah Walaikumsalam." I hung up on him too.

It's not usual for Vienna to call me just to tell me she's going home. Mom called me from outside while I was drying my hair.

"Riii... There's your friend..." Shouted my mother from outside.

I got out of the room and saw who was outside. I was very surprised to see who came. There was Dhito, Mytha and one of their friends named Rika who accompanied Dhito and Mytha to give me a surprise. 

"The Happy Birthday Riii..." Welcome Mytha, Dhito and Rika. 

Dhito gave me an unexpected surprise, even giving me cakes and gifts. I really don't think he still wants to give a surprise when our relationship has long run aground.
