Chapter 47. Adi's Birthday

The first year I celebrated Adi's birthday, this time I bought her a medium-sized tart. And coincidentally at that time Adi had not left for the office and the Queen was staying at her house. So the Queen was happy when her uncle was given a surprise birthday. The day before her birthday I was busy looking for a nice and cheap cake. Because at that time my budget was not too much for Adi, so I bought it as much as I could.

"Did you give me a gift, son?" Ask Mama.

"Sir Ma... Love the cake.. But if Mama wants to give you a gift it can." My answer. 

"All you need to find a gift for Adi.. Who wants to buy it." Sahut Eyang Putri's.

"What would you buy?" My toot. 

"The one who wants to buy him a shirt he's making work. Poor eyang often saw him wear his work clothes that's all.." Eyang Sahut. 

"Hahaha he's not his shirt that's just eye, males aja search - search in - in the closet. That's a lot of work shirts.." Semabri chuckled.

"Then anyway? Ah, ah pity. Buy a shirt for him to work, 2 lah. From Mama Sama Eyang." Answer Eyang. 

"Jaudah yaudah..." My answer.

"You chose it.. Mama doesn't know her taste and size." Answer Mama. 

"Yes, I know. I'll choose." Answer smiled.

Me, Eyang and Mama also look for gifts for Adi first at the clothing store.

"I chose it first... Mom is sitting down." My answer.

"All who sit down, Mama help you find it." Answer Mama. 

"Jaudah that way." I answered briefly and immediately looked for clothes for Adi. 

"You want to find a long-sleeved one or Ri's short-sleeved one?" Ask Mama while looking - look at the clothes hanging. 

"You make a long mending job, Ma.. He's on the project, usually hot. So instead of using cuffs again will mending long buyin all of you." I answered while looking for the right clothes for Adi. 

"You know what you know, Mama's coming." Answer Mama.

I also have got some recommendations for clothes that fit and feel Adi will like his clothes. There are already 6 clothes that I brought for Mama and Eyang to see and choose. 

"This is me pickin 6 clothes, Mama equally eyang choose yaa yaa nice." I answered Mama and Eyang who was sitting waiting in front of the cashier. 

Mama and Eyang also look - look and choose clothes that are suitable for Adi. 

"It's good as RI.." Said Mama. 

"I'm coming, don't understand." Eyang Sahut.

"This one? Same one where's Ma?" My toot. 

"Hmm, this is like it.." My mom chose one of her clothes. 

"Does this mean?" I asked to convince again. 

"Yes, this is all.." Said Mama.

"Jaudah pay, let me go home. Tired me.." Eyang Sahut.

"Judek.." I answered while tidying up the clothes that were not selected. 

After paying, we went home and were ready for Adi's gift tomorrow.

The next morning I was ready since dawn, at midnight I deliberately did not say birthday first to Adi. Early in the morning I had a shower and was ready to give a surprise to Adi, today Adi entered the afternoon. While I enter the morning, so before giving a surprise I have dressed up pretty and neat to go to campus. 

"R.. Adi's still sleeping like he's..." Said Mama. 

"This hour is still sleeping? Lah not... We just came in.. At least he's still in the room. But don't be noisy." I answered the one who prepared the cake. 

"Assalamualaikum Aunt.." My broom as I entered the house whispered a little. 

"Goddessalam..." Aunty Ratna replied slowly. 

I also entered slowly to welcome the Queen who last night stayed at Adi's house because Mama and Papa were on duty out of town. 

"A.. You're not ready - ready?" Shouted Aunt Ratna knocking on the door of the room loudly. 

"Yes Ma.." Answer Adi from the room. 

"Let's get out by noon... It's in search of the Queen." Shouted Aunt Ratna again.

"Uncle!!" The queen also shouted. 

I prepared in front of her room and brought a birthday cake with a lit candle. Then Adi opened the door, and we all sang happy birthday. 

"Happy Birthday to You... Happy Birthday to You... Happy Birthdays.. Happy Birthdays...Happy Birthday to You!!!" We all sang in unison.

Adi was surprised by the smiling face, "Thank you.." Then Adi thanked me.

"Blow it up dong..." My answer. 

Adi blew out the candles. 

"Yeahy.. Did you make a wish?" My toot.

"Uda..." Answer Adi gently. 

"Cut the cake.." Sahut Om Budi's.

Adi cut the cake with heart. 

"First cake's.." Said Adi who immediately gave his first cake to Aunt Ratna. 

"Me uncle!!" Shouting Queen. 

"Eh Gaek used to dong..." Answer Adi.

"Jaudah love him first Ka..." My solute. 

Adi also gave the cake to the Queen, then to Om Budi and finally Me. Mama and Eyang sat in the living room. Then Adi also gave the cake to Mama and Eyang. After that Adi gave it to the Father. 

"Kirain forgot Ka Adi's birthday." Ledek Adi with a little whisper. 

"point dong.. I pretend to forget." Reply meledek. 

"Thank you, dear.." Adi smiled too.

"Yes the same - the same... Yaudah I'm leaving ya..." My answer.

"Come in?"

"Yes dong. That's why I'm ready - ready before Ka Adi's surprise. So that you finish the surprise immediately depart. Oh yes it's a gift from the same Eyeang Mama do not forget to open and try it.. I hope it fits." 

"What's the card? Curious enough.." 

"Later open ajaa.. I'm leaving first with you, Father."

"Judah heart - heart, yes.." Answer Adi.

"Yeah.. I didn't give you a gift this year. Aja cake... Gapapa, right?" 

"Father dear... Prayer is also a gift." 

Although simple when giving a surprise, but it feels very happy. I'm glad Adi is the one who accepts me the way I am. I hope that at 29 years old he will become a better person and he will change into a normal man.
