Chapter 28. Adi Family

I told you a little about Adi's little family when I first got to know Adi's family until some time close to Adi. Before I got to know Adi, I already knew and was close to Adi's parents. My assessment at the beginning, Aunt Ratna was a friendly and kind person and Om Budi a cuckoo person and looked arrogant but she was nice to me. 

"Ri. eat here... Auntie is cooking." Aunt Ratna came in and arrived at the room where the Queen and I were playing.

"Oh yes aunt thank you..." Answer me with a smile. 

Aunt Ratna came out of the room and went back to the kitchen. 

"Riri County..." Call the Queen while I'm busy playing the phone.

"What are you doing?" Asked the Queen with glaring eyes.

"Hmmm nothing..." I answered briefly, then immediately turned off the phone and focused on playing with the Queen again. 

"R..." Aunt Ratna called me again as she opened the room door.

"Ihh Andung nih..." The Queen grumbled. 

"Eat first yuk, already mateng Aunty cuisine." Bring Aunt Ratna. 

"Oh yes aunt..." I stood up and gave the Queen permission to eat for a while, "Princess... Aunty Riri eat for a minute." 

"Follow..." Said the Queen who followed out of the room. 

"Sit here Ri, Auntie is ready for the plate. That's the rice take in the rice cooker over ya Ri...." Aunty Ratna said when I left the room.

"Here Ri eat first." Sahut Om Budi while taking a side dish at the dining table. 

"Yes Om... Yes Aunt..." I answered while taking the prepared plate.

I took the rice and sat down at the table with them. Seemed side dishes served there are spicy sour fish and long beans. 

"Tante doesn't cook much Ri..." Aunty Ratna said while everyone was eating.

"Andungs... The queen wants milk." Said the Queen seducing Aunt Ratna who was eating.

"Yaudah Andung makein first yes son, it's done the Queen sleep yes... Poor Aunty Riri is tired, son..." Answered Aunt Ratna in a slow tone.

"Hmmm okelah, but the milk is 2 bottles...." The Queen replied with negotiation.

Aunt Ratna made milk for the Queen. Looks shabby and tired when preparing milk for the Queen. When I had not finished eating, Om Budi accompanied the Queen in the room.

"Tomorrow the Queen has her mother." Aunty Ratna said as I cleared the dinner table. 

"Oh yeah Auntie?" Kaku many.

"Yes.... Her mother wants... He said let Auntie not be too tired Ri..." Answer Aunt Ratna.

When Aunt Ratna told me that I felt rather proud of Ka Ani, even though she was a career woman, she still cared about her parents and every weekend they often walked together or family time.

I just blushed and smiled a little.

If it's Bang Ozzy, don't talk to me too much. Even tend to be careless and relaxed style. But like a husband who cares and loves his wife. 

"Si Adi how's Ri?" Ka Ani asked as I was sitting together in front of the TV.

"Yaaa is good...." I answered while nodding - nodding.

"So she's weird - freaky mad at Ri... They hang out with him every weekend. Mom loves the same story, sister." Ka Ani said in a soft tone so as not to hear anything else.

"Hahaha oh that's Ka.." Answer's short.

I was confused at that time because my position was unclear with Adi, even he never expressed his feelings with me. 

"R... Will you be with Ka Adi tomorrow?" Ask Adi who just came out of her room. 

This time Ka Ani, Bang Ozy and the Queen visited her Mom's house. Since the Queen called me back then, I had to come over to her and play with her at Adi's house. 

"Don't know Ka, belom there's info at what time Ka." Reply slowly.

"Riri if not the same Adi go on a ride what?" Ask Ka Ani.

"I'm riding an angkot kok Ka..." Reply relax.

"How dare Ri ride an angkot? Not taking a taxi?" Ka Ani asked with glaring eyes.

"Hahaha I'm used to it..." Answer me while chuckling.

"That danger Ri.. What if there are bad people? There's kidnappers, thieves, thugs. Macem - macem." Sahut Ka Ani is worried.

I was a bit surprised to hear Ka Ani's statement that was so scary, even though since High School I have been riding public transportation like an angkot. Even though I was an only child, both of my parents never spoiled me like neither an angkot nor an ojek. 

"Yeah I don't ride an angkot either Mama or Mr. kok Ka..." My answer.

"Neither car, right?" Ask Ka Ani again.

"So Mama ride the Ka motorbike, if you sometimes ride a car if you want to all take care in the clinic, but if not yes ride a motorbike." My answer.

"Yaampun riding a motorcycle? Ih Sister does not dare Ri, afraid of falling. Mama Sama Papa also did not get the same brother Adi tuh ride the motor from the first. Because Papa used to fall off the bike." Ka Ani replied with a splash.

"God willing, I did not fall, even though I had fallen from a hahaha motorcycle.. But yes it's good to ride a motorbike can slip - nyelip because Ka..." Answer me with laughter.

"Take heart, heart - heart Loh Ri..." Answer Ka Ani again.

"Jaudah Ka, Riri is common as well..." Adi Sahut. 

After that Ka Ani was silent no longer talking. To be honest this time I was less suited to Ka Ani, too much. Do I have to take a car and a taxi to avoid death? Not really. Moreover, my position at that time was still a student who did not have much money. So it's better the money to eat or in the tube than to have to take a taxi every day and it will definitely cost a lot. Not to mention the expensive medical school, where maybe I asked for more pocket money.
