Chapter 41: Sorry for making you love me

Bara is reluctant to sleep, it feels time with Juna and Jeno is more valuable than sleep at night. He still faithfully watched every curve of Juna and Jeno's face that was so peacefully asleep. A smile mixed with regret rose on his face. In her heart she wonders if Juna and Jeno will accept her as a father if Selin accepts her proposal again.

Bara chuckles when he realizes the reality, boro-boro accepts the proposal to be invited to a date only seems like the woman will refuse outright. Bruk! Bara spread her body with a look toward the ceiling. Though they had just met and were together all day, but why was Bara now miss Selin so much. To the point that his heart felt tight. "Haaah, I miss him." Bara muttered a long breath.

Bruk!!

"On! Aneco!"

Bara flinched from her daydream when she heard Selin's voice, it seemed like Selin was in need of help. Bara rushed out of the room then opened the door of Selin's room full of worries. Chequek! The door opened and showed Selin crying while hugging her knees.

"Hiks. hicks.."

Bara pecked for a moment staring at the nanar towards Selin who looked fragile, slowly he approached Selin then without asking for approval directly grabbed his body to be carried to the bed.

Bara noticed Selin's sweat-soaked face with her hands stretched out to touch Selin's forehead. "Hot," said a worried Bara then rushed out of the room to carry his needs on the first floor.

"Anet, Anet," Call Bara who gets no response. After arriving at the first floor Bara turned his gaze to look for the whereabouts of Anet and Raka who disappeared somewhere. Breath comes out of the mouth of Bara.

It seems like waiting for Anet is not the best choice at the moment, Bara finally decided to take care of Selin himself even though he knew it seemed like Selin would reject him. Bara's looking for a small towel and a large bowl for warm water, "Mmm, what else is it?" Ask Bara to herself. Understandably for almost 5 years he lived alone and had forgotten how to take care of the sick.

Bara opens the refrigerator to pick up some of the fruits afraid of Selin hungry, then looks for Selin's medicine which fortunately is on the table. After everything was gathered he rushed up the stairs and walked towards Selin.

Yoke! Slowly Bara put his luggage into the nightstand near the mattress. "Drink first" Bara said, then grabbed Selin's nape to help him drink. With her eyes closed Selin opened her mouth so that her dry esophagus could be moistened by water. When finished, Bara noticed some of the drugs in the plastic bag while remembering which drugs he should give to Selin for pain relief. After being convinced of his choice, Bara re-awakened Selin and then gave him medicine.

"sickness, hiks.. Hicks.." Selin said softly with tears soaking her face, with her eyes closed Selin touching her feet.

"Where does it hurt hmm?" Tanya Bara then took a towel that had been wet with warm water and then placed on top of Selin so that the heat down.

"Swipe first a little, let me get it easy." Bara said asking permission to move Selin's body more to the middle of the mattress after receiving Selin's approval, Bara lifted Selin's slender body into the middle of the bed. Then start to massage his legs.

Breathing out of Bara's mouth, he could not see Selin being so fragile. He couldn't just forgive the person who had made Selin suffer like this, "I don't let you get hurt anymore." Speak with confidence.

Regular breathing rumbles began to sound, which indicates Selin has returned to sleep. Bara smiled with relief and then joined her body beside Selin. His hands stretched out to stroke Selin's fist gently lovingly. He could not imagine all this time Selin was sick who was beside him, could it be that when sick like this Selin struggled alone. "I'm sorry" murmured Bara softly with tears that just came out of her eyes.

"Nooooh!" Selin went back to pain. Bara approached Selin, his hand faithfully stroking Selin's back to channel calm.

"I'm sorry I couldn't take good care of you" Bara muttered almost like a whisper.

"Why should I apologize, the one who should be looking after me is not you or anyone else, but myself." Selin replied with closed eyes.

Bara did not believe it turned out Selin replied to his words. "Hmmm, from this moment on I want to return to being the one responsible for your pain and safety Selin. I'm serious," Bara folded his arms as a cushion while staring at Selin full of seriousness.

Selin painstakingly changed his body to face Bara, then raised his gaze to pay attention to Bara's face. "You crying?" Selin asked in disbelief to see Bara's cold face as if she had cried.

Selin nodded in disbelief. "Not lie. What's going on?"

"Nothing, my face is fine." Bara replied reluctantly admitting that she was crying.

Selin smiled wryly. "You're still the same, never told me anything."

"Cell, that's not what I meant. I'm really fine. Every time I was around you I was fine, forgetting all the pain I felt. So, instead of not wanting to tell a story but I forget what makes me sad because being around you always brings happiness." Said Bara who managed to make Selin sculpt without saying anything.

"Cell," Call Bara straight.

"Mmmm," muttered Selin in response.

"Did you part with me and your life be okay?"

"Not too bad, it looks like I'm okay." Answer Selin as it is.

Bara nodded with a broken heart. "Thank God."

Selin raised his eyes again. "You boy?"

Bara returned Selin's gaze then let out a long sigh. "Hmm, sometimes I regret our first meeting. If only we had never met, I might never have loved you so deeply. During parting with you the feeling left in my heart was only regret, missing you and thinking about you. If only I didn't love you, maybe I'd be fine. Without constantly remembering you, thinking of you, remembering all our sometimes stifling memories." Selin did not answer washed away with every word Bara said.

Bara grabbed Selin's hand and then held it tightly. "Cell, may I say these five years I'm not all right. My heart is broken, my soul is suffering, I miss you so much and want to be near you. I always try to find you but you just disappear in the swallow of the earth. I suffer from Cells, these five years are not that easy..." Said Bara with tears that had soaked her face.

Selin pecked when he realized that Bara also suffered, never Selin saw as fragile and as sad as this. Bara sobbed full of the pain of regret as seen from the look of his eyes. Selin smiled faintly then approached towards Bara. Slowly his hands stretched out to embrace Bara full of longing.

"Calm down, because of your stupidity it's not just you who's hurt. These five years aren't easy for me either, let's just say we're even." Selin closed his eyes with his faithful hand patting Bara's back.

"Hiks.. Hicks.." Bara's body trembled her cries were getting broken. Finally, she got her place back to crying. Bara returned Selin's embrace tightly.

"Even if an apology is inappropriate for me. I want to apologize to Selin.... I'm sorry we ever met, and made you love me. Suppose we don't meet, maybe you won't fall for a jerk like me." Selin smiled faintly then nodded. "I'm sorry for making you fall in love, too" whispered Selin.

..."Knowing you never made me regret it. It's just that my regrets are there when I give too much trust and end up wasted."...
