Chapter 18: Go Bara, I beg you!

Selin stared at her hand held tightly by Bara, a wry smile adorning Selin's face. "I'm no longer the woman you can play with as you please, I'm no longer the woman who can be fooled by your sweet promises, you were great and sweet in Bar's words. But unfortunately all your sayings are just nonsense."

Bats! With all his strength Selin hands from Bara's grasp.

Bara closed both his eyes resignedly, he knew his words sounded stupid and difficult to prove. But what else must Bara do, everything he said is true.

Bara looked at Selin with plea. "Cell, I know my words look unconvincing. But from now on I will try to have you again, I will not let you alone anymore, I will not let you raise a child alone. Even if they are not my children, I will accept them wholeheartedly."

The deg!!! Upon hearing Bara's words about her two children Selin gasped on the spot with an increasingly wounded heart. Usually he is always okay if he hears others questioning the identity of his two children. But the moment the doubt came out of Bara's mouth somehow it felt so painful. It feels like right now he also wants to shout if Juna and Jeno are Bara Children. They are not the result of an illicit relationship like the ones people talk about.

"Hiks.. Not your son? Then they're whose son Bara is!" Shouted Selin in the heart. Selin stared nyalang towards Bara full of disappointment. "I guess you're different from the people out there who always thought I was a dirty woman. But you are the same, please remember you have no right to question the origins of my two children without knowing anything!. Please leave now!" Dispel Selin with a slightly raised voice.

Bara was just silent with resignation with a view that did not turn away from Selin. Because Bara was just silent, Selin again pulled Bara to move immediately. "Go Bar please," Selin said.

With a heavy heart Bara slowly moved from her seat, she regretted her words that seemed to hurt Selin's feelings greatly. Her brain was confused at what to do to stop Selin crying. But it seemed like the only thing he could do right now was to go home with the reality he had just known.

After Bara's slow departure Selin's body sagged onto the floor, her hand touching her chest that felt tight with tears that had not stopped flowing.

"Hiks, hyx, hyx.. Why did he never think that Juna and Jeno were his children. You stupid man!" Selin said full of pain.

Bruk!

Bara threw his body onto his king size mattress, he let out a heavy sigh with a glaring look towards the ceiling. Slowly tears of regret came out from his eyes, tears that he had always hidden from everyone. Slowly his eyes closed with thoughts drifting into the past.

[Flash Back]

Bara got home from the office faster than usual, he quickly got out of the car excitedly. His hand held several plastic bags containing food for Selin. The smile never faded from his face as he was impatient to meet his wife.

Yoke! His steps came to a halt when he heard a noise from inside the house, his hands hanging in the air as he was about to open the door.

"You took Mama's gold, didn't you?!" Meta shouted from inside the house.

Bara froze in place not expecting her mother to shout at Selin violently. Even if in the presence of their relationship is fine, and Bara knows Meta is a good mother and never be rude to anyone. Bara paused her intention to enter, she just stood at the door to listen to her mother and Selin's conversation.

"No Ma, I just got home from college and didn't take anything." Selin replied gently full of politeness.

"It's your lie! Every day the house is done by you!"

Bara was increasingly stunned in his place, "Selin cleaning the house?" His words do not believe. Because the task of cleaning the house is the duty of their helpers. But why Selin came to clean without his knowledge, cleaning is not a heavy thing. But it looks like Selin is not just cleaning but made babu by his mother.

"Hiks, hiks, I swear Ma. I didn't take Mama's jewelry."

Bara clenched his hands full of anger, he did not expect that Selin's life in his house was this sad. But never once did he complain and complain to Bara about her mother's indecent attitude.

Bara quickly went into hiding so as not to meet his mother.

Brak! Meta closes the door and walks towards the car to go somewhere he doesn't know. After Meta's departure, Bara leaned against the door feeling crushed. He coolly eavesdropped on Selin's heartbreaking crying voice.

"Hiks, hyx, hyx."

After a few hours when Selin's crying was no longer heard, Bara again tidied up her appearance and prepared to enter the house. But before he arrived at the entrance, the door opened featuring Selin smiling towards him.

"Eh Mas has come home" Selin said with happiness and grabbed Bara's hand.

The coals froze slightly when they saw Selin's cheerful face, although both of her eyeballs were haphazard. Bara grabbed Selin's hand and watched her palm that was like it was injured.

"Where is the lecture going?" Ask Bara pleasantries when she was paying attention to Selin's condition.

Selin smiled as usual and said full of joy. "Current dong Mas, I'm an exemplary student."

He chuckled and began to enter the house. "That's your eye why, ko swollen so?"

Bara could see Selin's surprised look that was quickly covered up. Selin did not answer and instead ran into the room. Bara smiled gratefully as well as regretfully, because all this time he considered if Selin's life was fine while he was at work. Far from bad words.

"Hehehe, it was a flickering dust. And I kept swiping and clutching my hands." Say Selin when Bara has entered the room.

Greb. Bara instantly pulled Selin into his arms tightly, slowly tears full of guilt came out from the corner of his eyes. But quickly Bara removed.

Selin's hand lifted back Bara's embrace, it felt like she wanted to cry and tell her all the pain throughout the day. However, Selin paled. He just closed his eyes and calmed his pain in the arms of Bara which was very soothing.

"Thank you for being a strong wife, Sel, I Love You!" Saying full of sincerity.

Selin nodded fully haru, "Ih Mas what the hell lebay deh." He pretended not to care.

Bara chuckles then looks at Selin fixedly, he kisses Selin's forehead full of sincerity and then hugs Selin back, with a feeling of guilt for not giving a happy life for Selin.

[Flash Back Off]

"Hiks, hyx, hyx." Bara cried full of pain as her sweet memories in the past recollected.

It feels like at this time he wants to hug Selin like before, if only they had been open to each other and looking for a way out together. Instead of covering each other up and looking for solutions without discussing, surely their lives would not fall apart like this. Every day, Bara regrets his stupid decisions in the past.
