Chapter 29: Regrets that begin to gnaw

Bara opened the door of the twins room with enthusiasm it felt like his heart was beating faster than usual, a warm smile rose on Bara's face when he saw the twins were preparing a pillow for him. It felt like his heart was warming with such a happy heart. For some reason Juna and Jeno always managed to provide warmth and happiness that no one else could give.

Juna brought a blanket from the closet to Bara while Jeno tidied up the pillow. When she realized Bara had come Jeno smiled adorable. "Here Om," Panggi Jeno excitedly.

Bara chuckled then walked to the edge of the bed. "Well, the heroes haven't slept yet?" Bara asked while stroking the twins' heads in turn.

"Not Om, the time that has a bedroom first. We have to wait for guests." Juna replied not as often.

Bara chuckles, puk! Puk! "Let's go to sleep" Bara patted the twins' pillows.

Juna and Jeno then lay down their bodies onto the mattress, with Bara swiftly rising up to cover them both up to the neck. After that Bara also lay down his body facing the twins with his hands folded as a cushion.

Bara's hands were stretched out to ruffle their hair in a daze. Seeing the twins' innocent faces made her feel like she was looking at a photo album that featured her as a child. Bara smiled faintly realizing that while pregnant with the twins it seemed like Selin hated her so much, that her two children were so similar to her.

"You've been sleeping yet, Om." Jeno asked as she stared at the night ceiling.

"Mmm, I guess. Usually, if you get sick again, your mother is easy to sleep, but sometimes likes to wake up in the middle of the night." Bara said with a sad feeling because it remembered Selin's habit if sick.

Juna and Jeno let out a furious sigh, she was afraid that later her mother would wake up in the middle of the night and there was no one to help her Mother. Bara could see the look of worry from the twins, they already knew the night was the most frightening thing for Selin especially when sick.

"You don't need to worry, Om nginep here to keep the same help your Mother. Let's go to sleep, you must be soaked." Persuade Bara hope they will listen to his words.

While the twins are still reluctant to sleep like waiting for something very important. "Usually before going to bed you like to say the same Mother?" Bara asked hoping to replace Selin, they could be used to listening to fairy tales. Maybe Bara can help read, although certainly not as professional as Selin.

"She's always giving us magic spells while cursing us." Jeno answered with eyes that glazed longing at Selin, but they were just different rooms.

Bara raised one eyebrow in astonishment. "Magic spell?"

Jeno turned to face Bara. "Yes.. You want to know?" Ask who was immediately answered nod by Bara.

Juna who had just been silent turned to Bara. "Hi kind Mother's children, do not stay Mother yes dear. Mother can not live without you, anyway we must continue together until whenever okay. Mommy believes you are great people and will be blessed with success, but if you are successful you should not be arrogant. Well now the good boy has to sleep, your body can't wait to dream." Juna said with a big smile on his face.

Bara froze listening to every word that Juna said, for some reason the words made her eyes glaze over. "Do you remember what your Mother said?" Saying with a raucous voice.

"Yeah.." Say them compactly.

"Omm? What if it's changed to Dad?" Tawar Juna who managed to make Bara freeze.

Daddy's? What can he call Dad by the daughter he has hurt. Bara's heart turned congested as if there was a burden so heavy that hit his body. With a glazed look Bara finally nodded. "Byeah" said Bara softly.

Jeno is getting excited. "Jeno whispered his words. It will be Om who says."

"okay." Answer Bara enthusiastically.

Jeno drew closer to Bara and whispered, Bara listened to every word Jeno said. "Hi kind Father's children" said Bara slightly turning her gaze the other way to hold back her tears.

Fortunately, Juna is currently hiding in the niche of his neck and Juna is still faithfully staring at the ceiling of his room, so they are not aware of Bara's changing look.

"Don't stay Daddy, baby. I can't live without you" Bara said, clinging to a tight feeling in his chest.

Bara patted Juna who was next to Jeno. "Anyways, we should keep going together until whenever okay?" Soft Bara speech.

Juna and Jeno reflexively nodded, Bara's speech halted she took a deep breath then continued. "Dad believes you are great people and will be blessed with success, but if you are successful you should not be arrogant. Well now the good boy has to sleep, your body can't wait to dream." Bara finally finished chanting a magic spell for the twins.

Juna and Jeno smiled warmly then closed their eyes quietly. "Good night Dad," muttered those who managed to make a tear out of Bara's eye.

Bara nodded with his hands hugging them quite tightly, as the sound of their breathing was already in order. Bara quickly got up from the bed and rushed to the bathroom.

Slowly Bara closed the bathroom tightly and opened the faucet. "Hiks... Hix.. Hickk.. Arghh.." Bara crying sobbing vented sadness, disappointment, hurt, regret and emotion all mixed into one regretting her stupid decision to leave Selin just like that. If time could be repeated Bara would not obey the coward that let Selin out of his life, if only time could be repeated Bara will fight and give happiness to Selin. So Selin forgot about the suffering given by others.

"Argghhh, arghhh.." Bara's heart was broken, for the first time in her life she felt the urge to cry so strongly that it made her chest hurt if it held her back.
