Small Tour

My eyes are still hard to open. My view's shadowy. I rubbed my eyes, slowly becoming clear. The ceiling is glowing a lamp. The light of the sun usually forces me to wake up, but this time he is absent. Has the other one woken up? I turned my head to the side.

“This is it if you stay up late at night,” said a woman.

Whose voice just now? Obviously this room is just me, Lukas, and Zilei. Am I still dreaming? They're both not here…

Suddenly my cheek was warm. I became sleepy again because of it. My eyes slowly darkened.

“Aduh, ouch, ouch,” lontarku slowly. From the warmth immediately someone patted my cheek.

“They're going to sleep again. It's about noon, you know.”

I jumped when I saw him.

“S—Sara! What are you doing here?”

“Colah. Do you really want to spend the day in your room?” reply Sara.

“Where are the others?” my many.

Then there was a noise from the next room, which was not the room of Sara, Leora, and Alya. Sara gave me a warm towel. We both went to the source of the sound.

“What happened here?” slowly say.

“I want to take a walk first! We are also still lam— oh, happy pag— afternoon, Malka!” greet Leora while holding Alya's clothes.

“Why are people like this?” my continue.

“Leora wants us to get around in this city,” Alya replied.

“Really! I don't want us to waste a chance on this town! Before bad things happen!” lontar Leora is excited and.

“Hard head once,” Zilei quipped.

“Do you not want to accompany me alone?” leora said sadly.

“Not so. Me and Lukas will discuss the next plan and prepare the equipment,” Alya replied.

“If Ziliei?”

“I have business. I'd better leave now,” replied Zilei then hurried away. Leora looked at Sara with begging eyes.

“I have an appointment with someone. Ah, it's time I left too.” Sara was the second to leave us.

“M—Malka..?”

“Y—Well, I don't have any plans, anyway.”.

“Really? Yei! Let's go!” exclaiming Leora. He ran while holding my hand tightly. I was surprised by it.

“P—Low-slow Leora! I'm not going to leave you, kok.”

“Have fun!” sahut Alya from the room.

The river and boat became a striking sight as we exited the inn. He called someone on a sailboat. The boat actually stopped, and Leora asked me to ride it.

“Can we ride it?” ask her.

“Sure, means of transportation here yes this boat,” he replied.

“Where do you want to go?” ask the friendly driver.

“Hmm. Do you want to go somewhere?” alya replied then suddenly asked me. “Why suddenly ask me? Haven't you read a book about this city?” my continue.

“Did you guys just come here?”

“Yes, we just arrived yesterday. And this is our first time here,” replied Leora.

“Then, I have some recommendation places to travel. Are you guys happy?” continued boat rider.

“Alright, we want a little tour from you!” leora's reply was stirring.

The boat sailed slowly away from the river. As far as the eye can see, it is full of boats. The boatman gave an explanation of the city, as if he were on a tour.

“Previous welcome to Riveure city, ‘River’ City. Almost half of the city is a river. The city is like the heart, and the rivers are the rebirth. Connecting to all cities around him.”

I listened while looking to the right and left. Really spoil the eyes. While Leora is engrossed in the mobile phone that she uses to take pictures.

There is a unique shaped bridge in front of it. It was like a boat we were riding. People took pictures of the place and took pictures there.

“It was Patorani Bridge. Would you like to stop by for a minute?”

“What can? I want to take pictures there too!” answer Leora.

We pulled over, the three of us went to the bridge. Several times we asked the rider to take our photo. This bridge is very wide. Streets, sidewalks, restaurants, even luxury inns are all here. It is very similar to a boat.

After that we continued our voyage. If you look around, there are many small canals where small boats come in and out.

“Means many houses on the edge of those canals?” my many.

“Iya. And their vehicle is that boat,” replied the rider.

Then we arrived at a wide part of the river shaped like a circle. There is a statue tower in the middle. There are a lot of boats here. Around it were several branches of the river.

“This is the city square. All activities are centered here.”

If you look around, at the front of it lined buildings that were bigger and grander than before. We did not pass the opportunity to take pictures in front of the statue.

The next place we visited was the floating market. People are buying and selling from the boat. The atmosphere here is quite dense. The boat kept sailing and out of that market.

There is a canal wide enough to connect it to the port. Lots of boats coming in from there. Then we passed a crossroads. Suddenly the boat we were riding stopped.

“Why do we stop?” ask Leora.

“By red light.”

Sure enough, over the river there was a red light as well? Leora and I didn't think at all. The boats completely stopped lined up waiting for their turn to pass.

“Are you not aware during this time we sail on the right?” ask riders.

“So this left for reverse direction?” my reply.

“Iya.”

The function of this river is exactly the same as the road that is usually passed by vehicles. New first time I see “jalan” like this.

Again the river widened but only to the right. Seen a high audience seat and form a semi-circle. The place faces the river. “What is it?” ask Leora.

“It's theater. Every weekend there will be a stage shown here.”

“But, where's the stage?” my continue.

“Normally on a boat. Or it could be with a very wide raft.”

“Raft? Isn't it vulnerable if there is a wave from a passing boat?” my reply.

“Eat him there is a thin bulkhead. You saw it, right?”

“Wah, right..” mumbled.

“Oh yes. By the way, today is the birthday of this city,” he said surprised me and Leora.

“Really? Those posters..”.

I just realized that there are a lot of posters that say birthday. From the beginning my vision was often distracted by many interesting things.

“Tonight, there will be a festival along the river. Then there's the theater there. Don't forget to watch it, yeah,”.

“Let's take the others tonight!” lontar Leora's.

On the day we entered the evening, we passed the Knox tower in the middle of the island. We just just passed until finally our cruise stopped because it was at the end of the city. There was a huge fortress and a transverse entrance above the river.

“We have arrived at the city gate. Still want to go somewhere else or come back?”

“It looks like we've been on our little tour,” I replied.

“We will cross that bridge again. It was beautiful to see the sun go down from there. The sun will be on this river,” continued the rider.

Leora was getting excited to hear it.

“I can't wait to see it!”
