Wake up…
Wake up…
Wake up…

“Ha!” I was shocked and woke up from sleep. What the hell just happened? It was as if someone was whispering me out of nowhere. Maybe it's just my hallucination. Anyway it was just a dream. A bad dream.
A beautiful morning welcomes this beautiful day. I got out of my bed. Mom was preparing breakfast for us and Dad was helping me tidy up the dining table.
“Malka! Breakfast time!” my mother called from below.
“I'm coming!” I cheer up as I head to the dining room.
At the table there was soup and bread. But I've never seen one before. Maybe I'm trying a new recipe. Mom is preparing everything. Then I asked my mother.
“Mother, what is it? I just saw,” I wonder what food it is.
“Oh, this is Chamnion Soup and this one is Riunbread. Both are food legends and hereditary in this village. I know this recipe from your grandmother's note. When Mom read it, then Mom thought about making it,” my mom explained to me.
According to the legend in my residence, there are two foods that are often consumed by the people here. Both have different backgrounds. People believe that the Chamnion Soup was the food of the wise kings of old. Riunbread is a type of bread that is a symbol of reunion or reunion. In the past, people gave this bread to people they loved or loved like members out or friends who wanted to separate and leave this place for a long time. This bread is used to symbolize that those who have been separated in different places, will someday meet again.
“Son, I want to talk to you something,” said Dad suddenly.
“What's Dad?” many confused.
“After you graduate later. We will move to the city,” continued Father soft and quiet. Maybe so I'm not surprised.
“Whatever why, Yah?” I was surprised and a little sad.
“Dad there's work there. And it's been a while, about a couple of years. So Mom and Dad stopped moving there for a while,” obviously Dad calmed me down.
After some conversation and breakfast, I went back to my room and picked up the book I had borrowed yesterday at the library. Then I gave my permission to Mom and Dad if I wanted to go to the park.
“I want to go to the park, yes..” I said a little loudly while opening the doorknob.
“Alright... Take good care of yourself!” reply My mother who was cleaning the dining table.
I got out of the house with the book and ran to the park. I can't wait to read and talk about it together. There are a lot of questions I want to ask Alya.
I was so excited that I ran so fast that I saw nothing around me. Suddenly, I stumbled over a rock and fell on the road. But at once there was also a woman who put her hand to me helping to wake up. I took his hand and got up. I don't know where she came from, so I asked her.
“Who are you?” many wonder.
“Leora. My name is Leora Seraphia. You can call me Leora. Greetings!” he answered with joy and excitement.
“Malka. Malka Syahnivir,” I reply to her.
“It's nice to meet you. Here, eat. With this you will improve,” he said to me while giving a loaf of bread from his bread bag. I also accept it.
“You sell this?” my many.
“Iya. Riunbreads. The reunion symbol,”.
“Reunion?” many confused.
“Iya.”
Then I asked how much it cost.
“Usually I put a heavy price on people. But for you, you're getting better enough,” she replied with a smile. I who was confused and still endured the pain a little, I better just accept it and eat it as a sign of polite taste.
“Thank you,”.
“Oiya, this is your book, right? I found it not far from where you fell.”
“Iya. I'm so grateful to you.” I picked it up and wiped the book with my hand.
“I too,” reply. But after I lifted my head, the woman was gone. I still wonder who he really is. What a strange woman.
I continued my journey to the park. But this time I didn't run anymore because my legs still hurt a little. Fortunately it was just a scuff wound. Maybe I was too careless to see that there was a stone in front of me. I continued walking there while enduring a bit of pain. And spent the rest of the bread that the strange woman gave.
In this village there is only one park near the school, where I study, make friends with people my age, and others. In the park it is also often visited by children who want to play. Especially during holidays, he asks for forgiveness. The distance from my home to school is about a fifteen minute walk. The park is not far from the school.
On my way there I saw a woman who seemed to be heading to the park. I was walking alone, suddenly he came to me and greeted me like a person who already knew. I responded with ordinary. Maybe he's Alya's friend.
“Iya,” I replied while watching the road.
“Include my name Ellie. The most cheerful person in Mennora and good at cooking!” it was a joy to face me, but I ignored it.
“I Malk—“
“I already know your name. Alya introduced me to you,” cut it.
During the trip Ellie and I had a light chat. The longer I get closer to him. We are definitely friends. He introduced all the food he could cook and all his experiences. Ellie loves to tell stories. I was just being a good listener and it didn't feel good to cut the conversation.
She's jolly full of glee. I was embarrassed when others saw it. I don't know what made him this happy. I don't know what would calm him down. Instantly he spoke to me.
“Enak yes so Alya..” his spontaneous break to me.
“You mean?” I was confused by his words.
“Eh—forget... Oiya, what book did you bring?” I still didn't understand but he immediately switched the conversation.
“This book about the sky. I borrowed it from the school library,” I explained to him.
“Oh yes? You know......“ He's back talking non-stop. I didn't notice it. All I see is the road. But I pretended as if I was listening to him.
The park is visible from here. I'll be there soon. He was still talking nonstop quickly. Tell a story here and there. I wanted to reprimand him, but it didn't. A little more until. Maybe he'll stop talking when we get there. I saw two people sitting chatting on a park bench. Shortly after, Ellie ran there. I followed him too. But I didn't see Alya there. It seems like he is still on the road and has not arrived yet.
“You have been waiting a long time?” ellie asked these two people.
“Not really,” replied one of them. They looked at me confused.
“Oh, this is Malka, her friend Alya and my friend!” obviously Ellie's excited.
“Oh yes, Malka. This is Gras, the 'Feeder'. And this is Ethan the 'Jago Fights',” he explained again.
“Hei! My job is not to eat, you know!” gras is as firm as a child.
“And we can all fight. Not just me,” added Ethan.
“Quiet... This is just an introduction. You know him, right?” ellie pulled Gras back and patted me on the shoulder.
Then we talked to get to know each other more closely. They have been friends with Alya since childhood. But they are not now in school for economic reasons. According to them, helping the surrounding community and exploring is a better thing than school. They used to gather in the park to share their experiences with each other. In addition, they also often discuss about the sky. But until now they have not gotten a bright spot.
It had been about thirty minutes we chatted while waiting for Alya who never came. Alya said that she would come to the park today. Ellie, Ethan, and Gras are also confused Alya has not yet come. He is usually the first to go to the park. We were all worried and afraid something might happen to him.
“Didn't you see Alya?” ethan asked Ellie.
“No. I'm just walking alone with Malka. And we didn't see it..” replied Ellie.
“Any. He usually comes in early. He likes to keep his promise. What happened to him,” said Gras worriedly and said like a child who wanted to cry.
“Maybe in a moment he will arrive,” I replied calmly.
Shortly thereafter, Alya was seen from a distance. His face lowered and walked in a bit of a hurry. He looked around him. Alya looks like a tired person. We just look at it in confusion. When Alya got here, Gras asked Alya with a still anxious look on his face.
“What's wrong with Alya? You're okay, right?” gras asked worriedly.
“Huh... Huh. Ma—Sorry I'm late,” Alya replied gasping for fatigue while wiping the sweat on her face.
“I was preparing for tomorrow. You guys remember right?” alya said to them. I don't know what he meant.
“Oiya! We almost forgot. Thank you very much Alya,” Ellie replied excitedly as if impatiently.
“You as a guest of my hospitality, I wait for you at my house tomorrow morning. Okay?” bring Alya to me.
“Hmmph!” my reply nodded to him. But I still don't know anything.
The conversation continued together. We discussed and Alya told her everything she knew. He said that the sky consists of seven layers. There are several dimensions throughout the universe,
some of it may be in the sky. There are dimensions that cannot be seen by humans. Therefore we can see the stars in space but there is actually another dimension in the sky that is blocking it.
We can also go into space but not through the sky in question. Alya explained so much detail about what she knew. But he couldn't confirm the truth. All that he got from the books and rumors of people.
It didn't feel like it was late in the afternoon and the park was getting quiet. Alya can't linger here anymore because he wants to prepare everything for tomorrow. Ellie wants to try out her new recipe for tomorrow. Gras is hungry and wants to go home. Ethan has a promise to learn martial arts. Then we greeted each other and returned to our homes.
“Bye!” ellie shouted as she waved her hand.
