The Little Village "Mennora"

On the way home. I see people interacting with each other. Some are selling, riding horses, chatting, and others. I as a person who rarely go out of the house, and out of the house only when I go to school. In the middle of the journey, I saw a grandfather who was carrying a large tool and looked heavy. The grandfather lifted him down and gasped. I approached her out of pity and wanted to help her.

“Excuse me, Cake. Can I help you?” askaku offers help.

“Ti—No need, Son. Grandfather can lift it himself,” Grandpa smiled back as he continued his footsteps.

“It's okay, Cake. Let mehelp. Grandpa simply tell the direction of the road.” I helped lift the tool.

“Thank you very much, Son. How good you are. What's your name?” reply Grandfather with his steps leading me to a path that was getting further and further away from home.

“Malka. Greetings, Cake,” I replied with great respect to him.

I helped the old man lift this great tool. Fortunately, it's not too heavy for me. Grandpa guided me to an obsolete station and it seemed like it was no longer used. I just found out that there is a station in this village. When we got there, I asked Grandpa about this tool.

“This tool is for what yes, Cake?” manya curious.

“I—This is to signal for the train that will pass,” he replied.

“This station is still in use?” I was a little surprised.

“It looks like you're the new kid huh? The station is crowded every day. Se—Every morning many people wait and depart from this station,” said Grandpa explained with his voice cut into pieces. There are still questions I want to ask her but she seems to be busy. I better hold on to my question.

“Alright, Cake. I gotta go home. It's getting darker,” I said to Grandpa who was fixing the station tools.

“Thank you yes.., son..” reply Grandpa smiled then continue his work.

When I got out of the station I got a lot of information from this station. I saw the route of the trains that ran through this station.

The station connects the village of Mennora, where I left off, with a slum on the south side of Metlehein. Mennora is a village on the north side of Metlehein. The station also connects with the nearby town of Lumiatia. There is an airport there. Usually people here have jobs in metropolitan. It is a very large city and the center of all the regions on the planet.

People who work there use this train transportation to Lumiatia then connected again by plane. All my life, I have never left this village. Especially if I am just a child. So I just found out all this from this obsolete station.

Semakit day is late. I rushed home. But this time I won't be as careless as before. I saw the sun setting beautifully on the western peninsula. And the birds chirp and the wind sweeps and whispers its rhythm as if everything were fused into a conciliatory harmony.

I am glad I can stay in this village. My birthplace and where I grew up until now. A place I will never forget. I do not feel like I have left this village. Especially my friends who turned out to make me see the wider world. Not just looking at the world from my books and windows. I'm really lucky.

When I got home, I saw Mom and Dad preparing dinner. Soon everything was ready. As usual, we had dinner together and had a warm conversation. After everything was done, I climbed the stairs to my room and immediately prepared for the Kapok island. I can't wait to see you again tomorrow with friends.

"Ouch!" I fell out of bed and woke up.

“What just happened?” I've had a weird dream lately. Twice with this.

“Ad—Ad—... What is it?”

I was talking to myself and I was trying to remember what was in my dream just now. But everything just disappeared. All I remember is the sound of a female whisper but the sound is not what I know. I'm more curious about what I'm going through. Like someone was trying to get a message out to me. But I don't know who, what, where, and why.

“I have to ask Alya! Maybe he knows.”

“You want to see your friend again?” ask Mother.

“Iya, Mom,” I replied slowly while eating my breakfast.

“What's his name? Maybe you know,” asked Mom while looking at me curious.

“Alya. Alya Willoughby,” I replied.

“Ah... beautiful girl beautiful, smart, cheerful, but a little shy,” reply Mom instantly after I mention her name.

“Mother knows her?” manya curious.

“Iya. Mom met him in the park. He was alone, waiting as it were. I approached her and met and talked a little. Because there is something that I have to do, so Mom parted with him and gave him a gift as a sign of knowing each other,” said Mother explained to me.

“This... Save. And take good care. With this, you won't feel alone,” my mother added by hand giving a small metal dove-shaped.

“For what?” I was confused and my hand received a gift from my mother.

“You will find out later,” replied my mother with a deep smile.

“Alright.. Maybe your friend is waiting for you,” added My mother told me to go to Alya's house immediately.

After breakfast, I rushed to Alya's house. His house is not in line with the school. But closer than my house is to school. I walked over to Alya's house and kept the little dove that Mom gave me in my pocket. I promise, wherever I go, I must take her and try to take care of her. I feel like I'm just having Mom's presence with this pigeon.

Seen a lot of people passing here and there carrying out their own activities. This village is far from "dead city". The kids run around with excitement. Play together. Laughing together. Beautiful feels. I'm a little sad because I didn't have a playmate. Maybe this is a good time for me to make a close friendship with Alya, Ellie, Ethan, and Gras. I won't waste our friendship!

When I crossed a supply and tool shop. Suddenly the seller from the store shouted

calling me.

“Hai, Son! Good morning!” the seller shouted to me. I stopped for a moment and looked at him.

“Again!” I shouted back from the front of the store.

“You're Malka, right?” tanyakanya.

“We've met before?” many confused. I don't think I've ever met him.

“Grandfather who helped yesterday introduced you to me,” he replied then he asked again. “Where are you, son?”

“Home Alya,”my answer is short.

“Oh... The 'park' woman? All right, careful, kid!” his reply.

“OK! Thank you!” I screamed at him.

I continued my footsteps towards Alya's house. Not a few people also greeted me and called my name as I passed by. It seems they have recognized me. Is this all from Grandpa? Or from Alya? Because many of them are very familiar and close to him. Although Alya is a little shy, but if he is familiar and close, he will be very familiar. Many of them like it because of its kind and friendly nature.

It seems close. But I don't know which one's home. I look around. I saw Ethan coming out of the house and I called him. Ethan looked at me and asked me inside. I saw Alya's house. The house is beautiful with flowers and beautiful decorations in front of his house.

When I went inside, it was all dark. I can't even see what's in front of me. But it suddenly changed when someone turned on the lights.

“Welcome, new member!” the four of them shouted cheerfully and surprised me. I was confused and asked too.

“New members?”
