The clock kept turning. It had been two months after the documents of the tower construction points were signed. Our business is different now. There was a rush in my room. With Jack I have to check out further discussion of the problems that exist in the Equatorial Belt. When everything was ready, we headed to the meeting room. There were several experts present.
“Happy day.” I opened the discussion meeting. I explained about the design of the tools that the next division has made. Then proceed with an open exchange of opinions. The subject matter this time is the impact of the tool for the sky and the environment. I also gave a report about a device I had used in Mennora at the time.
“Same as the results are in the laboratory,” muttered an expert.
The discussion lasted long enough. It is still a debate of experts about the risk of fatalities in living things. There is no research data on this issue. Some call it dangerous, but some do not. I draw a conclusion between the two camps. But there are issues that are also important to me.
“For a while we conclude like that first. There is something equally important,” I said. The meeting room was quiet again. They're watching.
“Have there been any studies related to the direct impact of the tool on the sky? By the tool it converts sky energy.”
“No. Until now there is no sample reference that we can examine,” replied someone. I can't deny it either. The issue is still being questioned without any leads.
“Sky anomaly? Weather?” my many.
“Anomaly has happened since that bang. So we can't identify whether it's the impact of the tool or not.”
Everyone in this meeting room tried to turn the brain, but again did not find the slightest answer. More and more questions are popping up. I'm ending the discussion about this. “We'd better go to the next discussion.”
Two hours have passed since I started resting in this room. Some problems we have discussed. Some are solved, some not. I hope we can all find the answers one by one as time goes on. I gave them instructions. I also closed the meeting.
Just coming out of the room, an office waiter conveyed something to me.
“Pak Pappous calls you to come to his room.”
I gave the file in my hand to Jack, and then I left it. When I arrived in his room, I saw no one.
Where's she? I looked around the room and was really just myself here. I saw his desk. There was one document that caught my attention, which was about designing tools on a large scale. Suddenly the door opened, it was Pappous I was looking for.
“Have seen it?” chirps. He came up to me while I was still focusing on seeing the blueprints.
“You really designed this?” I just can't believe it.
“I'm not alone, certainly with the experts,” he replied.
He also asked me to go somewhere. We walked out of the room along the corridor. But he stopped at once when he saw me.
“You didn't bring that document?”
“You told me?” many wonder.
“Sure, I want to show you that.”
“Sorry, I'll be right back.” I went back to the room and took the file. He was waiting for me in the corridor.
We continued walking without knowing our destination. I just followed next to him. We took the elevator, then we moved down. I thought the device wasn't here. On the ground floor, that's right. We're heading out of the building. A private vehicle was waiting there.
“Please...” said the Driver.
During the trip, I asked Pappous a lot. Fortunately, he did not feel uncomfortable with it. I was a little surprised by her age but still excited. He behaves just like a young man.
“Is there a separate place for the planning?”
“Sure, there's no way you're assembling such a large tool inside a building, right?”
“Is this plan late stage or is it still an early prototype?”
“Still early. Still need to be tested repeatedly.”
Unknowingly we had arrived at a suburban place. A spacious building like an airplane hangar I've seen at the airport. Get off the vehicle, we're given safety gear. I was confused while wearing a protective helmet. Pappous was intrigued by my behavior. He helped me too.
“Basic youth,” he laughed.
“Waw...” My mouth is open. Pappous tries to explain the tool as simply as possible. But my attention is still focused on that device.
“In it there are hundreds, even thousands of metal plates. The incoming and stacking celestial energy would make the plate unstable. Waves that continue to bounce in it will heat the water that is above it.”
I think that the concept of energy conversion is almost similar to other power plants, only in a further stage. But I was confused by the bottom of the tool which looked separate to the top.
“What bottom also contains metal plate?”
“Oh no. That's where the next conversion stage is. We can't store celestial energy on those plates. When it starts to saturate, it will flow to the bottom. In very saturated conditions, they will explode. The heat energy produced is much greater than nuclear.”
“Means almost similar to a condensed cloud? Wait, you call it heat energy. What is harmless?” my continue.
“Quiet, there is a coolant that keeps the temperature at a safe level. You know nuclear power, right? Almost similar to that.”
“Then the evaporated cooling water with high pressure flows to the generator. Cycles keep repeating..” mumbled.
“That's right, young man!”
“But I don't understand, why should there be plates at the top? Isn't this enough?”
“Energy should not be wasted. The initial design is exactly what you said. The function of the plate was originally only to gather celestial energy in several levels. But we realized that in that process there was a lot of energy as well. You know microwave ovens? The wave will also drive the water molecules, then the steam will drive the.” generator
“So the generator is driven with two steam sources at once?” my many.
“One stop. At least for now. We still continue to develop it so that the efficiency obtained is greater.”
“But isn't there a problem with noise pollution? Especially the bang at the bottom of the tool.”
“We've cracked it with carbon fiber coating. And several layers of countermeasures of the bang in the tower later.”
I'm amazed to hear that.
“Wah, you are a genius!” lontarku excited.
“Oh of course! Don't underestimate me, there's no age to me.”
I went around the tool. It took me a long time to see all the parts. I immediately remembered the matter discussed during the meeting. I went back to see Pappous. He was checking the equipment with several other supervisors.
“Excuse me, can I speak to Mr Pappous for a moment?” He walked up to me.
“I remembered the problem two months ago while discussing it with Cathy. About the Equator Belt,” I explained.
“We are developing the solution.” He also described a device designed by his division.
I heard that they're developing an electromagnetic transmission device. I thought that it was impossible to transmit such a huge amount of energy, even more dangerous for birds and anything up there. He refuted me. It did require a huge wave, but that wave could be enveloped by the energy of the sky.
But I was a little anxious when the wave went off course.
“Tno need to worry. As long as it is enveloped in the energy of the sky, wherever it moves it will remain safe.”
The wave can only be processed by a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter enveloped the wave with celestial energy, and the receiver did the opposite.
I finally understood and the problem was over. I asked for the document to be given a copy. Again, I thought of one thing.
“How to move a tool of this size?”
“It's the next division business. Maybe you'll deal with him.”
I think that the affairs of the entire division, my division is always involved in it.
